Hey folks,
Does anyone know if the GPS will support GLONASS satellites?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yes, it does.

Triangles are GLONASS, circles are GPS.
This is by far the most effective Android GPS I've seen.
I am going to Bangkok soon and was wondering if the GPS on my phone would work there?? Does anyone have any experience with this?
Also can anyone recommend a decent offline satnav which has thailand maps? Preferably free!
Thanks.
U r gps works any where in the world

Yes, Ur GPS will work from any part of the world...
And there is an offline app...so u will have to download the map data for the country u want...Thailand is also there...
The app is called "Sygic: GPS Navigation", it is free for only 7 days... And then u wil have to purchase from.the play store...
If Ur trip is off less than 7 days then install it the day before u leave...and don't forget to download the map data....

Yes GPS will work there. I'd recommend getting a Thai SIM card and staying connected with their cheap 3G rates. I paid abouy $30 US for 3 GB that lasted a month and never had to scrounge around for wifi passwords, which gets annoying. That way you can stay connected to the world, too, if so desired.
Is this a problem with my GPS or does the new maps navigation fly forward and sort of imitate what steps you're supposed to take? Is there anyway to fix this?

No problem here either (L29C432). I've been accross Europe and in Cambodia/Vietnam. Never takes more than 15 seconds to acquire the position.

Mostly Google maps but also other various map apps and apps that want it use location like Uber.

My mate 8 works fine for GPS. Both the stock app, Health, and some other map apps work well with GPS.
Have you enabled the radio option, Location information?
