Tried to update the ROM.
Update process seemed fine, but when rebooting the screen keeps flashing in the bootloader screen.
Tried to install the RUU_Artemis_DOPODASIA_WWE_LOVE_1.28.717.1_INFINEongsm4.1.13.30_02.69.90_Cmp_Ship_R afterwards, but it keeps bringing up the ERROR 224 code.
Now, forum topic somewhere says that with the imei check tool and the hexediter this can be fixed.. BUT.. the C3v1Unlock tool only seems to work with an activesync connection... which... offcourse with the tri-colour bootloader mode that I only have access to is not available..
What should I do now?

firstly, relax!!!
afaik, the rom you used is atest rom, which is not meant for your machine due to diffrent bootloader, or so!
to try to solve your problems, start from scratch:
your machine is supercid, after imeicheck unlocking, right?
if this is so, pick an original installer, like the dopod one on the wiki, bring your machine into bootloader mode( not your flashing one, but clean bootloader, by hardreset followed by record and reset!), and start installation routine.
that should do the job!
afaik, no, there is no originbal netherland rom around.

p.s.: incase you are not supercid, the dopod rom should still work, cause you are the same machine type. if it doesnt, look for another rom on the wiki and see how it goes.

thanx for editing it, didnt want to confuse the patient even more , so i stuck with the "wiki -way" of explaining howto enter the bootloader
i also have the dutch mda III but i tried a different rom and bricked it.
The T-Mobile English T-MOB005 ARTE***** 1.13.110.1 9/22/06 1.13.110.101 1.13.0000 02.49.90 4.1.13.25 did not work, it said INVALID MODEL or INVALID VENDOR

changing the rom is not enough, you have to recalculate the checksum
hi to all yesterday I was your siimilar problem (I've try to install teh powermap rom...) so my Orbit O2 (original german rom) still only in boot screen, today I've try to install this magic rom:
art_tmouk_11311001_024990_wwe_ship.rar
I've press the comm manager button + power button + soft reset and my orbit it's enter in bootmanager mode so, i've install the TMobile UK rom (I was the O2 german rom...)
only in this mode my orbit work again.

you click once, your S100 will go on Cold Boot mode, then you got an error.
You click again on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and you are set

It works well with your Dangaard Rom but not with the Qtek Rom mentionned in this post... Perhaps my file is corrupted...
I have been converted these files to old format that xda3nbftool can accept.
You can change operator and country id with xda3nbftool.
Here are the errors I receive :

there is 2 main things,
1- you have a reel S100 QTEK you buy this in Belgium or France
then you just download the update you click you wait and you are set
(go to FTP on XDA) and you will see Magician folder.
But if I was you if your QTEK come from Belgium and still under waranty I won't bother and I will go to the dealer and have it update for you.
It's easy, hard to failed, but hey you never know
2- you have a S100 from Germany (or whatever country else) then you need to DL the link above and same things you click you wait and you are set.
It's like installing a program. When you start you have to wait, don't disconnect or so, anyhow you will see warning on the sreen, telling you what to do or not to do

noooooooo you are in the wrong folder I guess
Look what I see on XDA FTP (in the folder Magician/..........)
@mamac: make sure you do a backup first. make sure you connect your device via the supplied cable directly to your PC (don't use USB hubs or stuff like that), remove the cards from the SD slot. follow instructions and be patient and everything will be fine
upgrade Qtek S100
I upgraded my S100 yesterday since then the touch screen does not work properly anymore. Does anybody know waht happened? I can not use the touch screen anymore... :?
After the upgrade it is ok. It's only after I do the backup to restore my programm that it won't work anymore.

I have a French Qtek S100, which I have essentially left untouched, and I get the following error message when I try to upgrade to this new ROM version: "ERREUR 123 : ERREUR DE CHECKSUM DU FICHIER IMAGE RADIO"
That is to say, checksum error regarding radio image file.

If you are successfull, it will work - i personally had some problems, but may be this was with a former version. Since that i build my roms with HTC Tool.
The next rom that I cook, will try to use HTC Tool.

YES, I use for extracting the files * .nbh, and it is very simpler and comfortable than NBHextract.

it didn't work followed the instructions to make the nb file then converted it to nbh with the htc tool.
after that I renamed the file to TOM_B.B_v3.7_WWE.nbh and used its flash program RUU
it goes to 100% in a split second, and then it says on the pc screen error 228? (not sure about the number) wrong file size, invalid or corrupt file.
the phone simply reboots and I the old bootscreen.
but at the bright side... my phone still works
anything im doing wrong?

btw the htc tool only allows you to select one bootscreen no sub bootscreen. did the people that got it to work with dutty select 2 bootscreens?

I upgraded my wife's P3300 from English WM5 to English WM6 (WWE 3.13.405.1_4.1.13.44_02.94.90) without a problem.
OK, now I'd like to upgrade it from English WM6 to Finnish WM6 (FIN 3.13.414.1_4.1.13.44_02.94.90). When I start the EXE file, it will go all the way to 2% but after that it stops and announces that the hardware (P3300 with English language) is not suitable for Finnish WM6 upgrade. Then the phone is restarted and nothing has happened. It's still in English.
I'd really appreciate if someone would know a solution to flash that Finnish software to that phone. Why it doesn't approve the Finnish software? Is there a certain setting that I'd have to do in order to flash the phone with Finnish WM6?

P.S. Both softwares are DLd from HTC's website so they're not cracked softwares...
BTW, that US HTC link TCP-IP address (to those different softwares) has changed. If someone's interested to get the new TCP-IP address, I can post it over here.

No I didn't since I didn't know that it requires unlocking in order to flash any WM6 version to it. I'll try it again. Thanks for the advise!
BTW, our phones are not locked by any operator, but I really hope that this method works also for "standard" HTC P3300 phone.
P.S. If unlocking is what it takes to flash any WM6 version to P3300, I think I can manage. But if I'd need some further information, I'd be very pleased if I could then continue my series of "stupid questions"
Need for help with USPL!!!!!!!
Well, USPL didn't work for me...
If the flashing should take about 10 minutes, the DOS screen was displayed about 5 minutes and the state of upgrade only 5 seconds.
After that I tried to flash the Finnish WM6 to my wife's phone without any success. The upgrading stops at 2%, after that the phone is rebooted and I'll get the following error message:

Downloaded directly from HTC US site, so it must be an official ROM version.
The English WM6 I have flashed and it's running OK is the following:

also downloaded from HTC US site, so it's official.
I just don't get it how the hell I could get that Finnish WM6 into my wife's phone... Any help will be highly appreciated!

After that I flashed my wife's phone with the modified Finnish WM6 ROM. It worked and the language was changed from English to Finnish.
But now I'm facing another problem with her phone: I installed HTC Home (similar to Kaiser's one) to her phone but it doesn't work correctly maybe because of the language of the phone. So does anybody know how to tweak the country settings of HTC Home?

In the windows folder of your wife´s Artemis should be a file named HTCHome.dll.0409.mui and you have to rename it as HTCHome.dll.040B.mui

In China, my having many machine friends is similar to the circumstance of my machine, hope POF and XDA forum of the superior as early as possible work°outs this problem.

Needed for re-flashing dopod C800 back to original state, I was trying hardSPL and found that my device was bricked.

The htc official website up and down carries to get of the original factory ROM isn't the latest operate system WM6 WM5.0 system, my machine is in the process of brushing hard spl in brush the dead, now has no method and can work°out this problem.

If i am understanding correctly, you tried the RUU and it didn't work? USPL and Hard-SPL need an SPL of 4+. Did you use the RUU for your manufacturer/service provider?

looks like Im in the same boat as you all.
I have a P4350 South African model and had a powerfailure during the flash process. Now I have the 3 colour screen with
IPL 1.08.0001
SPl 1.08.0001
Top right says RUU and bottom left USB.
No matter what I try I cant get it to do anything.
PS upgrade was with shipped exe
Have tried the SD flash method too but it says reading SD card....verifying and then kicks me back to the 3 colour screen.
Any tips?

I have got MDA Vario, and my PC has error throughtout flash of new rom. Now I can go only to bootloader, I found some topics about flashing new ROM from SD card, but I need CID-unlock of my Vario.
Can I make Cid-unlock from bootloader??

You need to get an original ROM and make the upgrade is the only way to get functional your device and make a cid unlock cause you need to install a file to get it... so please read the forum that said a little tutorial and get the original ROM 2.26 or aku 3 original and run the RUU.

Yeh, I tryed it with original T-Mobile ROM (more than 10 times) But I can go (with original rom too) only to bootloader (maximum). And I need a way how can I do CID unlock in that bootloader. For every ways that I loked for CID unlock I need fully working of ROM and not only bootloader... There is a problem

So get the Wizard Love... but We need more info before you try any other upgrade like IPL SPL RADIO the last OS, why you stucks on bootloader? and try to let your wizard completely off cause in bootloaders dont charge.... so we need to know if it is G3 or G4 ok?

I´m sorry I forgot it... now is in my Vario
- oficial Czech T-Mobile ROM ROM: 2.21.2.7, Radio: 2.19.11, ExtROM: 2.21.2.111
- there is G3 chip inside
- I can go to the bootloader becouse, when I tryed CID-unlock, in my PC was something bad and the operating system strike down. For my PC was suffice only restart, but something about 60% executed CID-unlock fell down ROM in Vario. I can reinstal (flash) others ROM, but Vario starts only to first screen (with numbers of IPL, SPL or RADIO) and to bootloader...
I found some topics about flash of ROM from SD card (in the same cases like me) but I need for it open CID-unlock, but I haven´t it... and I don´t know how can I do it from bootloader...
Phone cannot be CID unlocked while in Bootloaders nor Rom can be backed Up/flashed through sdcard (MTTY) method if its not CID unlocked.
The only way out is to have a working OS running on the phone,so try to download the official Czech T-Mobile ROM ROM: 2.21.2.7 from it website and flash in the Bootloaders mode,if it successfuly flashes and loads up then try to downgrade to IPL/SPL 1.xx for CID unlocking,its a catch 22 situation,so keep trying!!!

God Damn!!! so maybe it works for you but I dont know... i past trough a similar thing my Windows XP shut down on 23% once... i took the machine at tecnisian and it cost me 30 dlls 300mexican pesos i said F#%&CK YOU!!!! and revive my PC...
but not my wizard...
At morning in my office i did the steps for clear DOC CHIP available for HTC Universal with mtty tool 1.42 then upgrade a stock rom and finaly a custom... it works the first time but....
