Hi,
I just re-flashed mu Universal to the original Windows Mobile 5.0 ROM, for testing purposes. I intend to keep it WM5.0 for a while and I was wondering if I could keep the neat black Windows Media Player Mobile 10.3 skin of Crossbow.
Unfortunately I came up with this idea at the moment I was back at WM5.0, so I can't check myself.
So my question is: is this even possible (using the files located in de Crossbow \program files\windows media player\ folder)?
If so, could someone please grab the involved skinfiles and post them here?
That would be very very much appreciated!!
Thnx.

After upgrading from the standard English T-Mobile Rom to Qtek 1.06, I've lost the "big button"-skin in Windows Media Player. Can someone upload it for me? To clarify what I need, I need the .skn-file plus all other bitmaps who's name is mentioned in the .skn-file (you can open it in notepad).
BetaPlayer currently doesn't support WMV because it rely on wmvdecoder.dll from Windows Media 9. Anyone can extract this file out from the rom? Thanks.

wmvdecoder.dll
Here you are.
Hopes it helps you further.
If anyone knows where to download the WMP 10 for PPC plz plz urgently reply? I have win 2003 SE and would like to have WMP 10??
Thanks
I'm pretty sure that there isn't a stand-alone version of WMP10 but all the latest ROMs for WM2003SE contain it.
Dear,
do you have the latest ROM or know how i can get my paws on it???
Thanks
Wiki, baby, wiki.

What device do you have? I noticed that you posted elsewhere that you wanted to install a BlueAngel ROM. If so, the latest ROM can be found at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_1.42.00_Upgrade
ok, no cab, no official upgrade. But if. some rom have wmp10 compatible with WM2003se I am sure that we can find files to copy somewhere and registry settings to change. Does somebody have already done this job ?
Sorry about my question... I'm very interesting for Smartfilter Novomobile... however, I have some problem to know what is the version for PPC Phone Edition and Smartphone... Is the same install file?
Moreover, when I install it (only 55k???), when the installation is finished, I received the advice that the software is made for a previous version of Windows Mobile... Is it really all right? Is this advice a non-problem... isnt it?
Is there a problem with the TyTN? Is there anyone that have already (and use) it on your device (with satisfaction)???
Please, help me!
Thanks!
Stefano
I have used smartfilter for a while now, and it works perfectly!
When a person/number is blocked, the caller either gets a busy tone, or gets redirected to the voicemail. This has to be supported by your operator, since Smartfilter only rejects the call (same as pressing red button).
Thank you! I have only a little indecision about the version that I must download... because into theirs site the link for the smartphone version is the same for the pocket pc version... can you help me posting the right link for PPC Phone edition?
Thank you and sorry about my poor question.
Stefano
You need the pocket PC version, in windows mobile 5 there is a little difference between smartphone and pocket pc phone edition, but there was a big difference in windows 2002 ---> windows 2003 and windows 2003SE (second edition).
If you have software designed for windows 2003 operating system could work or not in windows 2005 devices, but the pocket PC version is the most probable working version
Thank you sergio for you reply. Now my issue is that I dont be able to find the link to the Pocket PC Phone Edition... on the website of Novosec there are two section... one for smartphone and one for pocket pc... but if you click each link, you are redirect to the same page with the same link that they seems linked to the smartphone edition of Smartfilter... so I'm a little confused... Indeed I have tried to install the first version that I have found follow the pocket pc link... but also to be the same file for the smartphone, when I intall it, I receive in the end of the installation on my TyTN, the warning that the software isnt for this version of windows mobile. So I'm unsure to have download the right file.
Thanks!

Hi guys,
1. I see some WM6 ROMs for Typhoon/Amadeus/Feeler in this forum.
Which one that I have to choose?
2. Can that rom (WM6) works on HTC Amadeus? Amadeus has music keypad.
Sorry about my english...
It will work, just that the music keypad MIGHT not work , till we find the lnk files which my friend is working on
Its pretty good. I have to say that I've flashed my Xphone IIm to WM6 and its par with the official rom. Its running smoothly and so far *knock on wood* there aren't any problems. Just keep in mind that you'll lose JAVA (Unless someone knows how to bring it back). Its far better then WM5. I suggest you to flash to WM5 , then start your upgrade from WM5. If you do that , its a safer route
This is my route for your information
WM2003SE --> WM5 ---> WM6
Just to be extra safe , do a hard reset (Just say Y to both of the questions during the bootup Clear <something something>. Then boot into boot loader and flash)
Thanks karhoe btw (Oh yeah , the music keys does not work..Its not a big issue at all)
Did you try pasting the lnk files? If it still doesnt work, probably we need to dig out the keyboard dll from WM2003
