German-Language-Pack

I have test all German-Language-Packs from this Board, but nothing runs!!
Plese help me, i need a German-Language-Pack for my Amadeus that run an tell me more about the installation of a language-pack.
When i copy the 2 Language Files in the Windows-Folder an than i make the configs with the regedit (0407 - GermanLdb.dll and and and...) and rebot..... than i change my language to "German" and rebot... but than is the language again english but german is selected!

Oh I forgot, is it possible that it is already working? Because there are no other connections created in my settings and I got a Internetconnection.

German T-mobile phone need to change to English

I live in Germany but have very basic kowledge of the German language. So when I recently received the new Xperia Xi from T-mobile (under contract), I was shocked to find out that I could not change to English language. Both T-Mobile and SE do not want to help. Incredible. I was browsing the internet for some solution and encountered this forum. I saw some threads on the subject, and the solution seems to change some ROM thing (yeah, I have no idea!). However read some desperate messages s.a. phone got jammed etc. Any way got cofused and could not follow. So I have made this new thread JUST FOR GERMAN T-MOBILE. Can some kind member kindly lists down step by step instructions (with files, or links to files) on how the beat the system and change the language from German to English? Thanks help!

Ok....the only solution i know is to wait for an update.....they want to release it this year...if u download the upgrade manager u can select the language for the update maybe u get an english rom if u select that language...

Thanks reply. Yes its in German and want to change it to English. Your solution makes sense but I read somewhere that the English update would not work as the ROM has to be changed to English first. So not sure.

I would like to know exactly what must be done to change a Htc magic that came from spain (with spannish language only),back to have the english language as its operating language.
Im a noob as you can tell offcourse......lol.......but a quick learner.......

If you've rooted it through the set-up your able to change the language. Also i believe in settings>Locale & Text. I have the G1 so may be different but i doubt it

Hi all,
i bought a Tattoo here in Ireland for my nephew that lives in italy. he wants to have italian as a primary language on the phone.
I read that I can download the official WWE rom and simply flash that to get the missing languages.
Has anyone tried by any chance? Risk of bricking the phone? Problems with SPL or radio versions?
Just want to make sure im not sending him a dud for xmas

I'd say flash the WWE rom from the android development site. It comes with a big list of languages (Including Italian ).

I have updated the rom now i can use greek language but in sms composing the T9 isn't availble for greek.
Could anyone help please?
The strange part is that it is availble when i write text in the internet browser

guys can you please explain..
- where did you get the rom? i found a version but is in zip format and you need to cid unlock the phone first with the goldcard. im not too keen on that.
i dont understand how could I install the zip other than renaming to update.zip and reboot to recovery?? could someone please enlighten me?

I assume this wont change the keyboard to italian as well would it?
Would you happen to know if better keyboard or some others are compatible with the Tattoo?

[Q] Change locale setting to Korea

I'm having a problem with my handheld device (PDA), a CatchWell CW30. It installed the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
When I write a small application to the PDA, it throws the PlatformNotSupportedException.
After searching for a while, I found the problem is that I connect to the database which uses Korea_Wansung_CI_AS collation. I try to create another database which uses Latin collation and the application work perfectly..
I cannot change the Database's collation. So I think that I have to change the locale of my device.
Please, help me change the locale of my PDA to Korean. I cannot find the Korean option in Regional Setting.
If there are any language packs to download, please give me the link (and tell me how to install them as well, please ). I'm newbie.
