Bluetooth lockup? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Anyone else have an issue where BT will work fine for most of the day but then the link to your headset will drop and not reconnect? The icon is off in connections and will not turn back on unless I do a soft-reset.

Headset bonding problem: Cannot reconnect after turning off

Hey Guys,
I'm trying to setup my Jabra BT250 on the XDA2 with imate rom 1.72. After bonding, everything works perfectly; However, if I turn off the phone's bluetooth or turn off the headset, I can no longer use the headset.
I have to go through the whole bonding process again before I can use the headset once more.
I have also tried Pocket Bluetooth Tools with the same exact results.
Not sure what is going on.
Found a workaround... All you need to do is click on the Bluetooth Icon, then click on the Bonded Devices tab then close that window. It'll enable you to use the headset again.
But I hope it's only a temporary fix and that someone has a permanent fix out there.
Hey...I also go thru the tedious task of clicking icons to on/off the bT headset.
Enter PocketZenPhone...
It save you the trouble of doing this...
I'm sure you'll find the thread and dicussions on the active thread on the homepage. Its cool. 8)
Thanks... I notice that it works fine if you give it a few seconds before trying to answer.
I need to do more testing

Bluetooth turned off automatically?

Hi,
Has anyone noticed that when battery is low, device automatically turns off Bluetooth? It happened two times to me and each time I had to go to the COMM Manager and check the Bluetooth icon on again
Cheers,

Bluetooth dropping

Hi all.
Yes, I am fresh!
I have a Touch Hd, and have had the bluetooth drop during a call.
It just drops without notice, and then i have to turn off bluetooth and back on, then it will re-connect.
Anyone else had this issue?
Cheers.
what are you bluetoothing to?
there's a setting somewhere which specifies how long to leave the connection open if I remember right - I stumbled across it the other day when my daughter was trying to send me a photo from her phone...
motorola s9 bluetooth headset n handsfree
i have an S9 device, and it seems to dislike fully pairing with the HD or the diamond, it will NOT allow the PIN to be entered, if the odd occasion it does, says PIN is wrong PIN...
any ideas peeps?????

Bluetooth Issue

I finally managed to get my titan fully flashed and working properly with one exception....anytime I turn my bluetooth headset off I have to go back into the bluetooth settings on my phone and reinstall my bluetooth. It seems that for some reason whenever I shut the bluetooth headset off it or the phone iteslf decides that it is no longer needed and removes it from the phone.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks

bt headset problems

I have a jade working with a BT110 it answers the call fine but after the call the headset apears to turn off which it is supposed to do but the phone thinks that it is still connected so you have to turn soft reset the phone before you can make/recive a call and hear it via the handset.
has anyone else had this problem or could it possibly be the headset rather than the phone?

My experience - I use Jabra BT. The BT does not switch off after call is disconnected, until you switch it off. And the phone always thinks that BT is on (even when the BT set is switched off) until BT is disabled using the comm function.
I tried another Jabra headset last night, and although slightly better behaved it still didn't release the phone when turned off?
does anyone use a BT headset with the jade that works properly? what are peoples experiances.
anyone know what it is about the jade that makes it not work right?
