Hi to all,
any one have a freeware MP3 player for Imate kjam. i got one, but the bit is fast. if I play music, it s like your are playing a rap songs.
hope somebody can help me.
Try TCPMC (do a google search)...its not made specficially for mp3s as it can play just about any media type, but its good.
There is MortPlayer (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=11423), but I have never used it so I cannot comment on it.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
I was thinking that I understood well my QTEK S100 and I was happy but .......
Now ...... This very strange litle thing happen and I really don't know how nor why .....
My S100 doesn't play anymore the mp3 files as ringtones. The one I always use is still there in the right folder but doesn't work, just no sound. All the wav files and mid files works but none of my mp3.
I still can play my mp3s from my mp3 player but not anymore as ringtone.
An idea ? Help please, it's very frustrating
I don't understand and I have done nothing
You have installed a music player or any other software that makes itself the default player for MP3 files.
You need to uninstall that program or use a 3rd party program (this is one of them http://tillanosoft.com/ce/ptweak.html) to restore the mp3 file association back to WMP10.
MP3 ringtones will only work if WMP10 is the default player!
cool, thanks for the link, i have a problem with playing video's i record with my phone, .avi's are unknown on it so i guess if i associate them with wmp that that'd fix my issue.
thanks
Thanks
Many thanks, it works very well !

I'm not sure if wmp can play AVI. I use TCPMP (ex Beta Player) for DivX and AVI. It's a free program as well. Here's the link to download: http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1080
im currently using pocket player, but on some of the songs i play, i always hear these audio glitches and hits.
but when i play my sons in WMP, i don't hear it.
i hate using WMP cuz i can't save a playlist, and it keeps reading from the phone instead of the memory card. i'll have to reload all my songs everytime i load WMP.
thanks
that last stuff is something that I think was mentioned fixed in AKU2.2 - not sure though.
As for an alternative player.. TCPMP and MortPlayer come to mind
ok i tried out mortplayer cuz it's free, but when i was listening to it on the train, it keeps pausing on me, i don't know y, i wasn't even pressing any buttons.
any other good mp3 players?
does anyone know how to fix this?
mort player keeps pausing when i use it underground.
why is that? the music is on my storage card, and im not streaming any music, thanks
Mp3 player
Well for the playlist issue you can use a freeware app known as' PlayList Editor' it stores your playlist in any format you assign it too,and the WMP player can directly read ie from the sd card,as for the players you could try the GS player or TCPMP both of them are very good. I hope this helps.
Hi,
Basic question. I have .wav files emailed to me from my home voice mail, but Windows Media does not support this format. Is there a program I can use to play them?
Thanks!
WMP doesnt support .wav??
I've found the same - I think some WAV's play but it depends on the codec used. You should find that TCPMP will play your WAV's though.
See http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about
Thank you!

Thanks for the help, that did the trick!
What program should i use to put music on my phone? and make the song small but sound good still.
oooh ooooh let me guess... windows media player?
Well i guess i sounded stupid by putting the question of what program to use to put the songs on to the phone. But what program should i use to convert the file into a smaller one without making the song quality crap?
Small MP4 files...
I use dbpoweramp to compress mp3's into mp4 files with an enhance aac plus encoder. I use tcpmp player to play them, but WMP will play them as well... there is just a noticeable pop every now and then in WMP.
http://home.case.edu/bes7/db_EnhAACPlus_710.zip - to the plugin for dBpoweramp
http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=7107&page=1&pp=15 - to the original thread about it.
This is the pluggin to use... I compress the mp3's down to 32kbit stereo and they sound amazing. A typical 4mb mp3 turns out to be around 900kb or so... you can store TONS more music... and there is very little quality loss.
Hope this is helpful...

I don't know how to fix your problem, but you could try another music player.
S2P is a very touchfriendly music player, I use it too.
Anyway, good luck.
So if you go to menu on the music player you can't change it?
try this
if you don't get any help, try nitrogen 1.1 it is a good player. here is the link.
