Hi everyone..
I have just upgraded my XDAII to the latest and apparently final Radio Stack (117) and rom (172) from O2 so that I could use the KSE Truefax (2.08)...
It doesn't work surprise surprise, instead it tells me the modem has reported an error, nothing more, nothing less, an error, fantastic!
Anyone have any ideas? or similar experiences?
John

Hi,
I recently purchased an Imate Jasjar and upgraded the old ROM to one of the latest ones I found on this site which was 1.30.76 WWE I believe with the 1.09 radio ROM. Previously PocketMSN worked flawlessly and I could send/receive thru Hotmail and log onto MSN Messenger. With the upgrade, however, I cannot do either. The device constantly says 'sign in to pocketMSN failed' and I keep trying to no avail. I can still surf and use PocketIE without a problem but only PocketMSN isn't working.
Can anyone recommend a solution?
Should I purchase PocketMSN and reinstall?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jay
No, there should be no need to purchase Pocket MSN. Just do a hard reset and try it immediately without installing any application on your device, it might be a 3rd party conflict. If this does not work, try flashing your device with the same ROM, it might have been corrupted.
thanks for your advice...tried doing both those things and it worked for a while but back to the same problem. am using the latest ROM so i dont think it's any conflict cos the device has been reset fully a couple times now and i have no 3rd party apps on it.
the problem seems to be when I am using MSN but I leave the device idle for a few minutes and the screen blacks out. when I press the Power button to return, comm manager searches for a wireless signal and then i get signed out of pocketmsn. when i try to sign back in, it keeps saying 'sign-in failed'.
what if i upgraded to the latest Qtek ROM as I hear that's more stable. Will it work on the Imate Jasjar hassle-free?
I am using the latest QTEK ROM on my O2 Exec. I don't see why not it won't work on your Jasjar. I also use Agile Messenger as an alternative, so far no problems.
I have an TyTN with DoPod WM6 ROM. I've set the email to be pulled every 5 minutes.
However nothing happens.
Am I missing another setting? Is there something with the DoPod WM6 ROM?
Thanks
I like trinity but software in this phone make me crazy.
I flashed to Original WM5 ROM. And when i try to install HTC Album, I got message that application can not be open becouse of some not trusted certificates. Confused. I want to use this application and few other, that don't want to work becouse of certificates. I spent few days and can't solve problem. But i have my passwords
So i flash to WM6, and no matter what wm6 i use any time i restart trinity my passwords of connections, bluetooth, wifi, email acount disapears. Even a few times a day. Spent few days and can't resolve problem too. Confused.
Now i am so angry that i want to ... this phone.
So. Have someone any idea how to solve my problem? How to install HTC Album on Trinity with WM5, or how to fix disapearing of passwords in WM6?
I would be very greatful if anyone can help.
I would like to start this thread only for Exchange and WM6.x experiences
When you have it working, please state Exchange version when you know and the ROM version you used and the special tricks you needed to do to get it working.
Untill now I have not been able to get a C500 under WM6.x to work with my companies Exchange 2007 Sp1.
After playing more I can tell this
Had to go back with C500 to WM6 (5.2.1235buil15341.0.0.1) to get it working
Used to try the WM6.1v1.2 and pre1.3 but got connection errors while IE worked normally
I had the same issue with my Treo750, WM6 works, WM6.1 till now not!
mine works no problem with WM6.1 pre1.3. i don't know how to get the server version number. but i think it's still 2003.
