I have a T-Mobile MDA and I was hoping to install the latest O2 ROM.
I've been reading the forum a little here and there, but I haven't seen any posts or links that direct you to the latest O2 ROM. Anyone know where I can download this?

I will be receiving my MDA Compact replacement soon! It will obviously be in German again. Which is the best english ROM for it?
1) T-Mobile WWE Version 1.03
2) Imate's 1st english update ma_cdlsku2_arb_10300_141_10100_ship
OR
3) Imate's JAM_WWE_106_110_10500 ??

For now I would say stay put. It appears that quite a few issues are discovered with 1.06, and a new one is coming very soon.
My problem is that I don't understand German :-(
What ROM does the T-Mobile MDA Compact in the UK use?
So, should I go for the acclaimed stable T-Mobile english ROM or go for the newer i-mate JAM ROM?
What do you guys think? Or better still, what are your experiences?

Cannot Get the ROMS
I have tried following the link that everyone has for the ROM at:
ClubIMate . . .

But I get Page Cannot Be Displayed.
My previous experience with I-Mate, having bought a used JAM, was that I now had to buy a membership and get an ID and Password to get anything.
Does anyone have the file OFF SITE from the club, or does anyone have a password, yada yada?
Barring all that, has anyone built a better ROM than that? Is there a kitchen available for it?
And anyone looking for themes I am selling a collection of mine on eBay and offer to sell 6 for the price of 3 to anyone that references xda-developers . . . I hope you like.

Hi, Does anyone know where I can download the latest ROM for my XDA IIi uk to the latest Imate PDA2 ROM? I have heard that this is better than the 02 ROM? Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

Thread move to Alpine from UPgrade, mod, unlock.
Try the I-mate ftp site.
For this follow the wiki link for the BlueAngel, go to the avlible roms page, at the bottom is a link for the ftp site of I-mate.

Update to the newer O2 ROM but use Pugs update version as this includes the newer Radio ROM version too

Read right through it though theres 4 pages,
This upgrade will error the first time you try, but it works on the second time.

I was given an I mate PH10B PPC Phone.
Darn thing has a beta OS on it. I see the link for Imates FTP site but I have no clue what files to download. I have nothing critical on this PPC so data is a non issue.
Im a total newbe all I know so far is the OS is a ROM and I can put the device in serial/usb mode. Thats all I know so far.

I just switched for O2 Atom to Dopod 810, but I still like the O2 Plus today screen setup very much.
I came across an O2 Plus cracked file that can be use on WM5-Dopod device, but I can't seem to find the file in the forum. Can anyone help pls?
Would it cause corruption to the programs in Dopod?

fwiw.., I installed O2 Plus and O2 SMS Plus in my Dopod 838pro, and works fine.
search in xda forum you'll find O2 Plus cab.
anyway.., I was using O2 Atom too, before using this 838Pro.

location of upgrade ROM
Hi,
I just tried to download the 6.1 upgrade ROM but it doesn't seem to be available. If I try the direct link to the HTC download site I get the generic HTC upgrade page which doesn't include an option to upgrade the Orbit. If I go to the O2 page I get directed to HTC page, and if I select the Rapid share link I get an error (file not found).
Anyone got any advice on how to upgrade the Orbit 2 to WM 6.1 (official O2 release)(or shouldn't I bother)?

If you have the time to do some reading then install Hard-SPL and flash one of the 3LIT3 roms, as they are some of the best out at the moment.
For some help have a read of this to get you started.
Also i was running the O2 rom for quite a while, definately better than the 6.0 rom but 3LIT3 better still!
EDIT: Found this direct link but on download it is directing you to the HTC site, not the actual rom. Very strange, if you want it ask o2 what they up to.
