Which is the best ROM for Magician?? Put your comments

Which ROM is best (in terms of Stability, Performace and Features) for Magician?? Is it I-Mate, O2, Qtek or MDA?? Please put your comments to get a feel for everybody for best ROM in the world for Magician.

Q teck 1.11 or qteck 1.12
I have an imate jam and i have had qteck and imate roms and imate always has more buggs and slower

i've been using 1.12 for a few days, i noticed less echo, and tomtom 5 works good (so far)
it looks faster for me, but not sure

Please put which ROM make and version not the version alone...

It doesn't matter whether it's Qtek, iMate, Vodafone or whoever. AFAIK the differences are in the Extended_ROM dir only (ok, they'll put their boot logo in it, but that's it).
So I sit and wait for 1.12 in German language - I don't care for the manufacturer.

1.12 Imate version for me Faster....no bluetooth problems.....and no echo! BTW tomtom 5 works like a dream

I have currently upgraded to Imate 1.12 WWE . Going smooth so far, no issues.

has anyone tried the extended rom hack on the m500?
if so how did you get on and how do i go about doing it?

i did it for 1.11, no problem on m500, works exactly the same as s100
but restored to 1.12 with normal rom. cause i didn't use it

Install 1.13 T-Mob on a spv m500

hi have got a spv m500 that low on space can i update my spv m500 to 1.13 and BigStorage so then i can have more space or lest some got a better idea for me to use just let me now thanks

I'm not so sure anymore, but if you have an unlocked version then you should have no problems. There are a lot of tutorials about BS ROM.

hi this the a way to put the original 1.12 orange rom back on as i find with the new 1.13 rom the orange setting do not work very will but on the old 1.12 they work great if someone nows how i can downgrade my spv m500 to it a original software let me now thanks

The best radio for a SPV C500

Hi, what would be the best radio for my new SPV C500?
And one more question (because i am unsure: is C500 a Typhoon or a Feeler)?

..I guess the latest one is version 1337.0.42_0.03.28
...but I am wondering if the SPL and GSM version which I found for Tornado (HTC_Tornado_Radio_02.61.01) can fit into Typhoon ? As for the hardware, these are quite similar devices, arent they?

...aah, now I see Tornado's hardware is different from the Feeler's, so no question - it will definetly not fit.
But does anybody know about a newer radio version than 1337.0.42_0.03.28 for Feeler / Amadeus / Typhoon?

The relation radio rom - ril (radio interface layer) depends on what OS you are using. There are some issues with the wm5, wm6 and wm6.1 roms.
The SIM card also changes the quality depending of the radio rom - ril.
One suggestion is to ask the operator to change the SIM card, specially if you have a 64k sim.

I had before the wm2003se working on my cell phone, but after upgrading to wm6 I experienced many problems. I downgrade to wm2003se and everything was ok again... I upgrade again to wm6 and the problems were back. So I asked my operator to change the sim card and everything was solved. Before asking the operator I flashed different roms, changed many registry entries but nothing worked. So I hope it can help...
