Works a "homezone"-icon into the german Vodafone net?

Hello everybody!
I'm use the VPA compact 2 (german version) into german Vodafone net.
In my "homezone" i only have a acoustic signal for "@home", if i deal a number...
My question is follow:
I will, that my device signal my by optical, if i be in my homezone from Vodafone. But Vodafone.de dosn't have a software for optical signaling this.
If i has a O2 device into O2 net, it can optical signal my. The software for signaling is in the extended rom.
Work the Software from O2 also under Vodafone? What mus i know for the settings?
Or do everyone knows a alternative (freeware) program, that can reading out the cellinfos, so that the program can signal my "you are @home" by optical changes in the ToDay-Screen (as sample: swith the Themes-Screen or signal by icon or other optical effects)?
I hope, you can help my...

Funktioniert nicht. Bei O2 geht das Ganze z.B. beim BatteryStatus über Cell Broadcast. Meines Wissens hat Vodafone das nicht.
Gibt es von Vodafone überhaupt Telefone mit Anzeige der Homezone?
Wenn die das für einen VPA hätten bräuchtest du nur das Extended ROM aus der Version.

Doesn't work - as far as I know. Software that displays the O2 homezone uses cell broadcast (like BatteryStatus does). Vodafone doesn't have that feature.
If there's a VPA that displays an icon in your homezone you could try the ExtROM of that device.

Yes, Vodafone has some devices, that can show the "homezone" as word-Logo into the screen. But you need a new SIM-card. For the VPA you need a spezial program, how it be by O2-devices (XDA) in the extROM.
A it's be also gives some programs, they read the cellinfos, so that the device can take some actions, if you come in a define cell (as sample: play a sound, send a SMS, show a picture or other Actions). But: Read this programs also the CellInfos from the Vodafone-net out for taking effects into the display or by the status-LEDs?

It is a good PDA for little money.

OK, that is that, what i have think...
In this time i have a Wizard but the hardware keyboard of the Wizard i use only sometimes. Before i must order a external GPS mouse, i will change my device (my contract goes in a new extension, so i can buy a new device by little money). And a integreated GPS is for me helpful.
Is there some Problems with the OS? (I think i make a update to a german 6.1, if not installed)

Das Diamond is einfach besser es hat aussreichent mehr Speicher und die bessere CPU mein kauf tip ist das Diamond!
PS: Es gibt keine software probleme auser das der speicher knapp werden könnte je nachdem was du brauchst.

Hm, sieht zwar nicht schlecht aus, aber ich denke, dass ich trotzdem den VPA c GPS nehmen werde. Da kann ich wenigstens meine Speicherkarten weiterhin verwenden.
Der Diamond hat lt. Datenblatt keinen Kartensteckplatz.
Auch der Preis schreckt mich ein wenig ab (Da ich das Phone ständig bei mir habe -auch bei Arbeit in den Außenanlagen- ist das Preiswertere gut genug, zumal ich den compact II schon kenne, mit dem der compact GPS -bis auf einige Verbesserungen- verwand ist).
Weißt du zufällig, ob es beim "c GPS" auch so einen Unterschied gibt, wie beim "c2": G3- und G4-Geräte? Das mußte ich ja beim ROM-Update berücksichtigen.
Knapper Speicher lag beim c2 eher an nicht geschlossenen Programmen und an dem überladenen extROM, den man ja nicht installieren braucht... => Geschwindigkeitseinbußen + Sicherheitsprobleme

OK! I think i have, take the right selection to order a trinity.
Or are there knowed problems by use the internal GPS with diverse GPS programs, that to be found for PPC with WM5/WM6.x?

Hi Rifat,
I'm using HTC HD2 with its original ROM and wanna burn the WWE version 1.66.
I've just seen your post and want to know from you if there is any problem in changing the ROM version because you said that you want to send it to support service or something like that.
I'm trying to find the original Vodafone ROM but no results till now and there is a German Forum and one person from the vodafone service said that the new version would be released in KW 12.
My question is there any problem upgrading my phone's ROM to another one like WWE???

So leid mir das auch tut.... ich hab vodafone hd2... und brauch das auch irgendwann wegen garantie...
und ich weis wie scheisse das ist... wenn mann nicht zurückschiken kann wegen soner scheisse....
aber es gibt noch keine vodafone rom... die UK version gibts ja... aber ne deutsche noch nicht...
die original die auf dem telefon ist... die gibts aber nirgendswo zum download...
und die 1.66 vodafone germany, die bald verfügbar sein wird... wie er schon gesagt hat, KW12...

Try and download a ROM off the site. If you can, you don't need to Vodafone ROM as you get it from HTC directly. You can then download this and reflash your phone to get the normal German ROM back on.

I have tried this but it says !
For this vodafone HTC its no Update avalable

Also ich habe seit ca 1 Woche das HD2 !
Mein Problem ist das mein Akku warscheinlich defekt. Ich vermute mal oder liegt es an der Software !
Bei den ersten 3 Ladezyklen war alles ganz normal Ladedauer ca 2 stunden LED Orange dann Grün für akku voll !
Da hielt er auch ca 1 1/2 tage je nach anwendung .
Aber seit gestern das problem, hatte leider mein Ladegerät nicht mit musste es am Laptop mit einem Micro Usb kabel von Nokia Anschliesen
und aufladen das komische war das es nach ca 30 minuten grün leuchtete und den akku als voll anzeigte !
daraufhin hielt er gerade mal 3-4 Stunden ohne viel gebrauch !
Ab nach hause von der Arbeit ans original Ladegerät angeschlossen 3 stunden laden lassen kontroll leuchte wieder nach ca 30 min grün
schon voll kann nicht sein weiter angesteckt gelassen so das es mindesten 3 angeschlossen war .
um 0 uhr miternachts abgeschlossen in der früh um 8 uhr kein weckton siehe da Akku wieder leer .
In der arbeit wieder ans ladegerät selbe Problem wieder 30-45 min am stecker LED grün
Also irgendwas stimmt da nicht entweder akku oder Software .
Habe schon verschiedene Roms versucht problem besteht weiterhin !
Weis einer einen Rat ! Oder muss das Teil zur Garantie !

Bluetooth problem VW Passat 2008model

Hi, after i got my HTCHD2 my car doesnt find the phone and vice verca on bluetooth..
Ive had several mobile phones earlier with no problems.. i guess this is because of the new BT version in the HD2, but isnt the damn thing backwards compatible?!!?
I drive A LOT! and really want this feature to work.
Please give tips on how to downgrade, or change setting on phone so that the BT works with my car.

the premium free speak option is only compatible with nokia

i have same problem i drive 2009 passat blue motion
to connect with bluetooth i have dual sim card and a second phone Nokia 6300 to get free speak feature
my HD2 hat a second place with navigon and other nice features

Had the same problem with Samsung Omnia (wm 6.1) but after many atempts it's working fine. Only recognise Sim contacts dow. Didn't try HD2.

I am not able to connect my HD2 correctly to my VW Passat 2008 with it´s onboard PFSE via Bluetooth / rSAP-Profile. Many of your german customers do have a Passat i think. The forums are full of problems with HD2 / HTC-WinPhones in relation to car-hands-free equipment. I tried about many hours the last weeks, but no chance.
What to do now?

Yesterday i visited the volkswagen garage. They checked all but there ist no firmware update available for the volkswagen passat premium hands-free equipment. And there is no plan to have any updates for this issue in the future stated the technician. So i can´t use the HTC HD2 in my car for now. Therefore i think about selling my great and beloved HD2 if no fix will be advised by HTC for the next months. I think, others will do this too. This is a business phone i think, and many businessmen do have a passat in germany. I am driving about 50.000km per year, and so i have to use my phone in my car extremly often.
Would be great to hear HTC announcing that HTC works on more compatibility with Bluetooth-rSAP-Profile-issues.

News on this!!!
Nachdem mein Telefon am Samstag komplett gesponnen hat (ging immer sofort aus, nachdem ich das Display entriegelt hatte, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, die neuste Firmware sowie ein noch nicht freigegebenes Radio-ROM zu installieren. Ich habe die BT-Verbindung mit meinem Fahrzeug allerdings dann nicht mehr getestet.
Gestern war ich dann beim VW-Händler, nachdem dieser mir mitgeteilt hat, dass es 4 Revisionen der Freisprechanlagensteuerung gibt, alle werden derzeit verbaut, wobei eine Revision im Gegensatz zu den anderen SIM-Karten mit mehr als 32KByte Speicher korrekt ansprechen kann (wobei ich dieses Problem nie hatte, dieselbe SIM war früher in einem Nokia-Handy problemfrei mit dem Auto / der FPSE verwendbar). Diese hat mir der Händler jetzt eingebaut. Und siehe da:
Das Handy / Koppeln / Telefonieren funktioniert jetzt seit einem Tag absolut fehlerfrei UND es können ALLE Telefonnummern erfolgreich ausgelesen werden (von der SIM UND dem Handy, was laut diversen Forenbeiträgen eigentlich nicht gehen sollte....).
Die eingesetzten Versionen:
- FPSE-Steuerung mit anderer Revision (alle vier Revisionen werden verbaut, man kann also Glück oder Pech haben beim Neukauf).
- ROM-Version: 1.66.407.1 (76641) GER
- Funkempfängerversion (Radio-ROM): 2.08.50.08_2 (ich weiß, illegal und nicht supportet...)
Was jetzt tatsächlich von diesen drei Komponenten dazu führt, dass es jetzt geht, kann ich Ihnen leider nicht sagen. Man sollte immer nur eine Änderung machen und dann testen.... Ich bin aus der IT-Branche und sollte das eigentlich wissen ;-)
Soll ich bei meinem Händler nachfragen, welche Revision / welche Artikelnummer die ist, welche jetzt verbaut wurde? Könnte Ihnen bei Ihren weiteren Analysen evtl. helfen.

EDIT: Correction: There ist only one new revision which is built in new passats, the b-revision, which works for me since changed to that (without costs). In vw golf there is also a c revision (which works in passat too). you mean i go to car mechanic tomorrow and ask for my own PFSE Controller.
At the moment my HTC Leo Kaiser and many more can`t connect
i had installed rSAP but the connection was unstable and didn`t work

Solution:
Had that same problem with my toaureg. Problem is that all the stupid sales agents at the VW are weirdly nokia minded and they think nokia is the only thing man created on earth. their little brains are just bound for Nokias and selling u car to get commission.
to get it working:
1- settings - bluetooth - got to first tab - expand advanced and make sure the SIM ACcess is enabled.
2- make the phone discoverable.
3- search for the phone from car bluetooth. once found press connect and a password will appear that should be 16 numbers "maybe less or more, I have 16 digit number" where u have to enter the same pin in ur phone.
4- it should prompt for allow all connections. press yes.
5-voila... it should connect.
let me know if this works..!

have you test it?

this works with anything that has the SAP "Sim Access profile" service.
The car bluetooth actually works as a real phone and not as a BT headset. U can also set the GPRS parameters in that.
Give it a try and let me know.
PS: Some cooked roms are not connecting due to problems or missing files in ROM.

I'm driving a Golf VI since january and I'm not able to make my HTC HD work with the build-in VW Bluetooth.
I take care to activate the RSAP (Remonte Sim Access Protocol) in my Windows Mobile 6.1 settings but nothing changed.
I made several search here (XDA forum) but can not find a solution (except buying a new 400 € Bluetooth module).
Can anybody help ?

I must irritate here sometimes the specialists in this forum.
I look so promise untouched Rom to Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5 for this
MDA 3 PH20B and PH20B1 or also HTC Blueangel
I know this there is not in this form there it of the providers only with the Window Mobile 2003 was delivered. Rom are offered here so, however, are really first-class I need just such Rom without functions HTC the normal standard Comm manager etc. has here both devices, however, anyhow spins of the Wlan around or cannot be switched on. With the PHB1 lets itself of the Ext. Rom do not extinguish if everything has tried with the PH20B it went immediately. Am real in despair meanwhile. Have me quite high and down read here, however, even Rom with the Wififix dropouts have. The devices are OK with world Windows Mobile 2003 it goes flawlessly. Would like to instal then spb mobile shell as a substitute with the HTC.Habe here often enough solutions found for my Toshiba TG01 maybe somebody could help me there in the form of Rom or how I can change it myself.

Benutz mein WM6.5.x RC5 da hast du keine Probs mit WLAN...
PS: Hier wird nur in english geschrieben also stell deine Frage auch auf english!!!!
Use my WM6.5.x RC5 this Rom has no Problems with WLAN!
