WARNUNG:
MobileTV geht nicht mit der T-Mobile ROM, weil:
- die T-Mobile ROM erlaubt kein "UMTS only"
- die T-Mobile ROM enthält das HTC Streaming Programm.
ANLEITUNGEN:
1) Installiert die deutsche Qtek ROM.
Erhältlich hier:

2) Geht in die Telefon-Einstellungen und wählt unter Netzwerktyp "WCDMA".
Dies ist UMTS only.
3) Installiert Phm Regedit
Erhältlich hier:

4) Geht in Phm Regedit.
In:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\5.0\User Agent\]
Ändert Default von "Mozilla/4.0" zu "Nokia6680 (compatible; Mozilla/4.0)"
5) Installiert PV Player.

Nein, warscheinlich nicht weil dies ein Angebot für T-Mobile Netze im deutschsprachigen Raum (Deutschland und Österreich) ist. Es könnte aber funktionieren wenn man in einem Grenzgebiet wohnt wo die Netzabdeckung von T-Mobile Deutschland durchgehend vorhanden ist.

I work in the postproduction division of the RTL subsidiary Cologne Broadcasting Center which is headquartered in a different part of Cologne. I don't know why RTL hasn't been added to MobileTV, it might be in the works or they just haven't made the financial investment. habe alles so eingerichtet wie in diesem Howto beschrieben außer Qtek ROM, da ich zuerst nur sehn wollte wie die Qualität so ist wenn ich es über WLAN aufrufe. Ich denke mall über WLAN müßte es auch ohne ROM von Qutek funktionieren da UMTS gar nicht abgefragt wird. Leider geht es aber nicht, der PVPlayer bringteine Fehlermeldung: The specifed file was not found
oder ist es ein anderes Problem?

Ja läuft das schon bei wem?
Wenn ja auch das Mobile TV von Voddafone?
Und noch ne Frage: Läuft das auch schon mit der AKU3 Beta?

Warum brauchts du den direkt link?
Wenn du die Anweisungen wie oben befolgst, brauchst du dann nur "normal" in das Vodafone live einsteigen und es geht.

Hmmm, dann habe ich ein Problem, es kommt die Meldung:

Die Seite erkennt noch immer den MDA Pro, obwohl ich die Änderung in der Registry vorgenommen habe. Qtek Rom ist natürlich auch drauf und auf UMTS ist er auch eingestellt...

Du siehst dass in Internet Explorer? Versuche es mit einen anderen Nokia im registry... Nokia 6630 usw....

... leider noch immer gleiches Problem.
Mann kann sich den direktlink von A1 aufs handy schicken lassen, eigenartigerweise weiss a1 dass das ein mda ist:

Der link aus der Vodafone Live Seite funktioniert leider auch nicht, da kommt "Seite derzeit nicht verfügbar"

Höchstwarscheinlich sehen die das anhand der IMEI Nr. oder gar wegen bestimmter Information die das PocketPC an das Netz weitergibt.

Das wird von Internet explorer gesagt. Deshalb sollst du doch den registry ändern. Und umbedingt explorer benützen. Jedenfalls das mobiltv von t-mobile geht mit meinen Anweisungen. Musst nur rausfinden welche modelle A1 erlaubt.

Vodafone live! auf Qtek 9000 (ungebrandet und deutsch)
Hat es denn nun schon mal mit Vodafone live! geklappt?
Folgende Modelle gehen mit Sicherheit problemlos damit:
Sharp V 902 SH
Motorola E1000
Wie die Schreibweise für diese Geräte in der Registry ist, weiß ich aber noch nicht.
Sonst
vielleicht Nokia 6680 probieren.
Ein Vodafonemitarbeiter meinte, es hätte damit zu tun dass die IMEI-Nummer übermittelt wird - aber was ich hier lese sieht ja nicht so ganz danach aus.
Dann meinte der Mitarbeiter noch selbst mit einem dem VPA compact III baugleichem Modell könne er nicht gewährleisten dass es ginge da dies nur bei von Vodafone vertriebenen Geräten gewährleistet sei - angeblich wegen der IMEI-Nummer.
Vielleicht stimmt es ja sogar auch halbwegs nur dass die vielleicht in Wirklichkeit denn Modellnamen in der Registry mit ihrem Branding ändern. Könnte ja z.B. auch sein.

Defecting Touch HD but keeping Warranty

Thats my first Thread ever... so i dont know if i can post this kind of thread here and if its correct here...

I have a HTC Touch HD from O2-Germany and ive send it 2 times to repair (once for low Battery and once for Bluetooth problem).
Came back fixed. Ive talked to someone of O2 and he said if i send to repair again, i can choose a new Phone (HD2 )
Problem:
I want to have that HD2!! ^^
But my Touch HD dont have anymore errors, so i cant send it to repair (must have an error! they check it 3 days long before i get an OK!)
I wanna know if anyone have an idea how to produce an errory but keeping the Warranty! (software problems wont help cuz i have to Hardreset before i send it to repair)

Hab das Touch HD und will eine Wandlung bei O2 beantragen. Laut O2-Partnershop ist dies nach einem 3ten Einsenden des Gerätes möglich. 2 mal hab ichs schon gemacht jetzt will ich es ein drittes mal machen aber hab leider keinen fehler mehr... Jemand ne idee wie ich einen fehler produzieren kann ohne die garantie zu verlieren? (software fehler helfen wahrscheinlich nicht da ich das gerät vor dem Einsenden Hardresetten muss)

I think that's nearly impossible, because if you cause an error it is probably not covered by warranty. It has to be an error that could not be traced back to you.
But think again: If you damage your device and O2 doesn't repair the phone, you have to pay for it. So that's a very high risk you take.
Now for the idea that is very crazy imho:
You could try do damage the device with water while its on.
That would cause an electronic failure and probably the mainboard has to be replaced.
But the trick is, that you doesn't wet the water indicator inside the phone.
Because this small water sensitive strip shows, if the phone was in touch with water which will void your warranty.
Just search for a disassembly manual and look there where the strip is located.
Now you just have to pour water over the phone without getting the indicator wet.

Das Problem hierbei ist, dass es einen wasserempfindlichen Streifen im Gehäuse gibt.
Falls dieser verfärbt ist verfällt die Garantie, da das Handy offensichtlich mit Wasser in Berührung kam.
Daher msust du schauen, dass der Streifen trocken bleibt.
Dazu suchst du am besten eine Anleitung, die das Handy von innen zeigt.
Dort müsste dann dieser Streifen zu sehen sein.
Nun kannst du versuchen irgendwie schief Wasser über/in dein Handy laufen zu lassen.
Viel Erfolg, aber denk bitte nochmal drüber nach oder verkauf dein Touch HD und spar die das restlich Geld zusammen

I think that wouldnt work, because its not just the one stripe that you can see the water on. Phones and every electronik devices which are destroyed by water can always be find out by the technicians. ( I've worked as a Technician for Notebooks by HP)

Ich war selber mal Techniker für Notebooks von HP, daher weiss ich das wasserschäden so gut wie immer erkannt werden können da das wasser bei einem kurzschluss verdunstet und somit auch spuren hinterlässt.

+ Do anybody know the location of the Hardresets files, if i can delete something there (drivers, or important install files) and i hardreset that after that, it will never work (maybe after flash)

but i still prefer HD2, they are almos the same, just different OS and prefer Windows Mobile.
Ja hab ich gester gesehen super.
Aber bisher kaum ein Unterschied zu HD2.
Natürlich die Betriebssysteme, die auch viel ausmachen. Android hatte ich noch nicht, ist bestimmt gut. Aber ich glaube Windows-Mobile bietet Variableres, d.h. man kann mehr installieren und etc. z.B. Dual-Boot womit man 2 verschieden Betriebssysteme abspielen kann

Search for Rom without Htc Sense for MDA 3

I must irritate here sometimes the specialists in this forum.
I look so promise untouched Rom to Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5 for this
MDA 3 PH20B and PH20B1 or also HTC Blueangel
I know this there is not in this form there it of the providers only with the Window Mobile 2003 was delivered. Rom are offered here so, however, are really first-class I need just such Rom without functions HTC the normal standard Comm manager etc. has here both devices, however, anyhow spins of the Wlan around or cannot be switched on. With the PHB1 lets itself of the Ext. Rom do not extinguish if everything has tried with the PH20B it went immediately. Am real in despair meanwhile. Have me quite high and down read here, however, even Rom with the Wififix dropouts have. The devices are OK with world Windows Mobile 2003 it goes flawlessly. Would like to instal then spb mobile shell as a substitute with the HTC.Habe here often enough solutions found for my Toshiba TG01 maybe somebody could help me there in the form of Rom or how I can change it myself.

Smakit S7 Model 101 which Roms can Installed?

I am new on the Huawei S7-101 and i found many things for S7 but i dont no what i can flash on my Tab. In most threads missing the model number and i dont like to brick my new Tab (in memory´s to my Bricked Flytouch2 )

Alle Funktionen sind wie vorher gegeben, mein Rom war eines von A1 vorher.
Habe mein S7 nun seit einer Woche.

Hast Du evtl. schon mal andere Versionen Probiert?
Es ist zwar toll das Flash 10.3 geht aber irgendwie hab ich das gefühl das die grafikleistung in Spielen nachgelassen hat und der Launcher ist etwas laggi geworden.

Have you Testet some other Roms too?
It is nice that run now Flash 10.3 but the GPU Speed and the Launcher / Home Screen is more Lagging.

Probiert: S7V100R001C62B013 und die Brasil halt
Übertakten: Habe SetCPU Probiert aber es geht nur bis 768 MHz. Kennst Du noch andere möglichkeiten?

Habe nun die Indo version Probiert. Muss sagen Läuft besser und nachdem Kamera Patch läuft die auch.
Insgesammt flüssige, spiele laufen wieder besser, gps ist schneller nach ca 3min fix mit 10 sat. und die lockscreen meldung mit den provider ist auch weg.
fehlt nur noch nen update wo der g-sensor in spielen vernümpftig läuft..
I´ve flashed now the Indonesien rom and it runs more smooth, Games and Gps run Better. Gps cold start after 3min. with 10 Satelites.
The Lockscreen message is now also Fixed.
only missing a g-sensor fix for some games.

Du musst dein Tab gerootet haben mit SuperOneClick (evtl. auch andere Root möglichkeiten) Dann Gscript aus dem Market laden.
Nun die Runtergeladen .zip entpacken und die .sh irgendwo auf der SD.
Gscript starten und bei Browse die .sh eintragen bzw. auswählen und den Haken stetzen "als Root".
Danach ist bei Gscript ein neuer Button, den Drückst und wartest ein paar sek. Jetzt sollt die Kamera funzen.
Wenn´s Probleme gibt schreib einfach.

You must Rooted your Pad with "SuperOneClick) and then Gscript from the Market.
Extract the .zip file and save the .sh file everywhere on the sd card.
Start Gscript and Browse to the .sh file. Make check to "Run as Root"
Now in Gscript you have a new entry, push the Button and have fun with your Cam.

WLAN cannot be activated with the MDA Touch Plus

Ich habe meinen MDA Touch Plus
wieder gefunden und wollte ihn jetzt reaktivieren. Leider habe ich Probleme mit dem WLAN. Ich kann es nicht aktivieren. Es wird immer angezeigt, Wla zu aktivieren, kann aber nicht aktiviert werden. Ich habe die wifi.init auch nicht gefunden. Es ist mit wm 6.1 und Nine 200. Vielleicht kennt jemand das Problem und hat eine Lösung. Ich bin dankbar für jeden Rat.

I have my MDA Touch Plus
found it again and wanted to reactivate it now. Unfortunately I have problems with the WLAN. I can't activate it. It is always displayed activate Wla, but can not be activated. I didn't find the wifi.init either. It is with wm 6.1 and Nine 200. Maybe someone knows the problem and has a solution. I'm grateful for any advice.
