Upgrade a FRENCH QTEK1010 impossible...

Hi all :lol: ,
With this post, Im lookin for someone who could help me to upgrade my french QTEK 1010 (Bouygues operator) to a WM2003 ROM (I dont care to have my qtek in UK...)
I search on the MANY MANY posts of this forum but dont find a solution to LANGUAGE FRA...
my QTEK1010 (32mo):
ROM : 3.15.06 FRA
date: 11/12/02
radio:t313
protocole: 32s54
bootloader: 5.15
Well, I try to put a ROM kitchen 4.00.05 (exe) but I have a message: INVALID LANGUAGE: FRA...
Then I try some ROM (exe) from different websites but the soft block: ROM NOT FOUND ON YOUR DEVICE/VERIFY THE USB/SERIAL CABLE (something like this)
Then i read that I could upgrade my phone by the SD but I dont have any SD reader/writer...
So if someone could explain how to FORCE the installation of the KITCHEN ROM...If someone have the same french Bouygues phone & put another ROM that the original...Im interested....

you should try the SD method. it should work.

I had the same problem with a Qtek 1010 3.18 ENG that it doesn't accept the EXE method. Seems that the vendor found a way to make such protection that it doesn't exist in the kitchen ROMs.
I used SD card to upgrade to 4.00.5 ENG and now it's fun to install any other ROM even the original :lol:
My advice is to start by SD card to get rid of this problem and then select or cook your own ROM.

Je recherche désespérement une ROM française pour essayer d'extraire les dicos et complétion des mots en français. As-tu fait un backup de la rom, et si oui, peux-tu me le faire parvenir ?
Mes essais de ROM 4.x sur QTEK sont infructueux : effacement de la carte SD, applications qui disparaissent, STORAGE CARD1 -> STORAGE CARD9 alors qu'il n'y en a qu'une, checkboxes et radio buttons qui disparaissent sur les fenêtres, etc ... Alors je reste avec ma 3.18.04 ENG.

ROM:4.00.05ENG
date:06/05/03
radio: 4.21 (I have to pass on 800/1800 @ bootloader in order to make it function).

Qtek 2020i French Rom

Hello,
I am looking for the Qtek 2020i French Rom. Is anybody kind enough to extract it from its device and upload it on the FTP ? Thanks
It would also be great to write down a little explanation how to install it....

ok, i'm a french user of Imate Jamin, and i'm looking for French rom (qtek s200 or Orange spv M600 for exemple...) cause Imate don't have yet

Il y a peut etre quelque chose sur le site de qtek (je n'y ai pas accès, il faut un num emei valide)
sinon, il y a le soft awizard qui doit pouvoir faire un dump de ton s200 (dispo sur le ftp xda dossier upload)

I'm not a graded forum member, i know me too i'm a little bit "newbie" around here, but you can try to post something correct for being readable and if you
want to be read by other people. All forum members are here for helping each other.
Please give some detailled information about your device. Your current IPL/SPL values are welcome
You can find those informations when you make a soft-reset on your device.
In french :
Essaye d'ecrire un peu plus correctement, pour etre lu le plus possible, et eviter le sms-style.
Pour faire bref, on a besoin des valeurs IPL/SPL de ton appareil, donc tu prends ton stylet, a droit de l'appareil tu vas voir un petit trou, tu appuies legerement, tu lanceras un "soft-reset", tu verras des valeurs defilles en rouge. Mets les ici.

The rom is use actually ! Look my signature !
A little more job to do, but i prefer, lastest build 19209
better translation in french than bepe, an SFR Music works !

upgrade Problem
hello i have a problem to update my polaris ( HTC touch Cruise SFR), i lunch the update Rom raramomo (SFR Illimythics), when i do update my PDA restart for update, the multicolor screen appear then the gray screen with 0% appear, then the update stop at 0% for 4 minutes and a screen appear on my pc to tel me that an error occured. when i restart my PDA, it start with the normal SFR Rom

Bonjour, j'ai un probleme avec l'update de mon polaris ( HTC touch Cruise SFR), je lance l'update Rom raramomo (SFR Illimythics), quand je demare l'update, l'ecran multicouleur apparait puis l'ecran gris avec le la barre de progression à 0% apparait et il s'arrete a cette etape pendant 4 minutes et un message d'erreur apparait sur mon pc pour signaler une erreur. je redemare alors mon PDA et il normal avec la ROM SFR.

Have you Hard-Spl on it ?
If you have hard spl installed, boot your device in bootloader mode
(press photo button + on when the device is off) and run the
rom uploader.

Francais: A chaque flash ma musique déjà téléchargée sur ma carte de stockage ne fontionne plus (DRM), y a t-il une possibilité de sauver les fichiers DRM, quels noms ont -ils ...?

There is a section in registry about downloaded files. It's should be copied, but
is enought ???
Y a une section dans la BDR avec les titres téléchargés, c surement a recopier.
Maintenant est ce que cela suffit ???
