VNC software to control Wizard

Is there any VNC software avilable for the XDA Mini S? I would like to connect to my XDA Mini S from my PC to take screenshots and control it.

I tried that program cus I used to use it for my Ipaq hx4700 but it didn't work

I have not tried this on the Wizard (currently waiting for one) but I have used SOTI Pocket Controller extensively on many PocketPCs over the years. I find it much better than the MS tool. Not free but not expensive.

I use the attached tool for quite a while now, on wm2003, 2003se and wm5 devices, it works great.
I got it somewhere overhere i believe, so the credits go someone else..
copy the 2577 folder to the root of your storage card,
then eject, and insert the card, the first time the device will
ask if you want to run autorun, and you do, so, accept it.
from now on every time you insert your storage card, it will make a
screenshot in that folder 2577, no matter what screen you are in or app.
you are running (for as far as i know then)

Using ppc from desktop pc...

Hi guys!
Is there some software that allow typing and work in my Jam from desktop pc? (i.e. VNC or remote desktopp o r...)
I tryed Remote Keyboard and it works very fine but I'd like to redirect the Jam's screen to the pc's display too...
I'd like to connect my Jam with USB to my pc and then use it from the pc...

you can try Dot Pocket, nice software

Pocket Controller gets my vote, wouldnt be without it. Nice coz you can change the skin so that it looks like the phone itself and even the function buttons work.

Is there a free bit of software that will allow me to use the ppc as an extended desktop.
I have played with side window, but would rather not pay for it as i don't think I will use it enough lol

yes..its a short form for REMOTE DESKTOP SHARING..just as u do in wiindows..btw which device do u have and which OS ?

Not quite what i need, i use that to control my ppc, what I want is to actually use my ppc as a second monitor, but thanks NatroXz

if u have WM6..remote Desktop sharing is already their..just configure it to connect it to ur computer

basically my mouse has died on me and i was wondering wheather there is a app to turn my ppc into a touch pad which would connect via activsync and control my pointer on my desktop pc ?????

Check out http://www.innobec.com/en/products.php for what I am looking for. It is good, but I want to find a free way of doing it, as it is quite handy having somthing like notepad open in the ppc whilst i work in the main screen

thanks for the reply i downloaded to software you recommended but it did not install on my x51v .
i ran the cab file and went through the set up ............it said it is installed but could not find it anywhere on the ppc looked in programs and file explorer ....nothing!
i ve got a axim x51v with a cooked a03 rom

I was just looking for a program like SideWindow for OS X - I can't find anything. Does anyone know of something that will let me use my WM6 device as an external monitor under OS X?

So i´ve tried sidewindow.. @ my ppc (htc p-3401 wm5) and the ppc screen stay a little bit white, it lose the phone signal(what?! conflict ?) and nothing works..
tehre´s any equivalent software? or anyone knows how to fix the problem with sidewindow?

ppc as a desktop/laptop trackpad ?

it is just an idea. i thought it would be easier than the classic "tv remote softwares on ppc" for certain uses like net browsing.
-> would it be possible (usefull or not is another problem) to use the tactile screen of a PPC as a laptop pc trackpad to remotely controll (by wifi or internet i guess) the mouse cursor on a desktop pc or a home cinema pc or ... ?
is there a software for this ? something more specific than a tweaked VNC config ?
(and yes i know they sell wireless mouse anywhere lol)

or for the wii?
like bluetooth keyboard for the wii, or to emulate a wiimote?

Thats a really interesting idea.......
it would be great for artists who don't have tablets - you could just draw on your ppc screen with the stylus (when the ppc is displaying the computer) and if it acted as a mouse it would be like pen&paper which is much more accurate than trying to draw something with the mouse (like in paint).

yes ppctablet seems ok but :
1- (PPC Tablet is NOT compatible with Windows Mobile 6 yet.)
2- it is not free software even if i could pay 16$ if it run on my wm6 hermes
something else ?
i will look at the salling software script when i come back home.

Hi all
Is it possible to control my phone form my pc using virtualisation / remote desktop type software? I have RD on the phone and it lets me control my pc from the phone so surely it can be done the other way round?
Anyone know of any solution ?
