Phantom Notifications Queue entries - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

I'm now seeing some unnamed entries appearing in my TyTN's Notifications Queue (as shown in MemMaid) that don't show a particular application -- but merely contain the following string repeated twice:
{9B904401-A867-4042-976B-4063F62B2EE5}
As a result of these phantom entries, I'm now missing the sounds on all of my appointment notifications.
Has anyone else seen this? I'm using DirectPush to my company's Exchange server, through both PassThrough & OTA.
{EDIT} Updated: Answer found on AximSite. These are apparently remnants of a bad ActiveSync session, that could be safely removed. However, it took a full hard reset to restore all required queue items (including the repllog /sched /h entries) and to restore all notifications.

Recurring appointments....Aaaargh!

Hi everyone,
quick question; Has anyone entered repeating appointments in the calendar (ie 3pm everyday) an then deleted the recurring appointment, only to have it appear with an alarm again everyday, even though you specifically deleted it? :?:
I presume the information for the recurring appointment has been filed somewhere in the XDA2 which is making it re-appear everyday. I can even see the appointment reminders in Scarybears "Check Notification" app. I delete them from here too, but after a soft reset they just re-appear again :x
Any ideas on how to remove them permanently?
Many thanks
I have this issue too, has anyone found a solution?
Thanks,
Martin
Have you tried deleting the recurring apointment in Outlook on your PC. This works but you must delete the series.

AciveSynch hi-volume Data sync disconnect - rapiclnt error

Upon attempting to synchronize large files or volumes of data (approximately 7600 contacts), ActiveSync 4.5 disconnects the handset (the display changes from "Connected" to "Not connected"). All data transfer abruptly ceases.
The handset returns an error message involving the file rapiclnt (which I am further prompted to forward to MS).
The OS is Windows Mobile 5, 4/2007 ROM. Approximately 31.5 MB free.
I have attempted deleting the mobile device profile, using a new profile, synching as a guest, resetting the device, rebooting the computer, defragging, etc. I have excepted from the firewall all the ActiveSynch directory exe files as recommended by the MS Windows Mobile troubleshooting site.
Will 3d party synchronizing software avoid this? Without contacts & calendar, this is just a very heavy and expensive brick
I did mine with 4500 contacts and agree that getting past the initial sync is a pain. On a fresh setup I introduce the sync items one at a time.... i.e. first sync folders, then sync tasks, etc. And then I do a reset before syncing the contacts. It takes a long while to do the setup but it works.

I was able to perform the initial sync (pain is an understatement) directly from TImeMatters, which is apparently much more efficient than Outlook (which creates a much larger file on the handset). I time limited the Calendar and Tasks to reduce the number of synched items. Unfortunately, the incremental (changed items only) sync crashes, leaving only the alternative of deleting all handset items. As TimeMatters shows the first couple of items being synced to the handset, ActiveSync shows a lost connection (although the TimeMatters sync dialogue dutifully churns through all 7600 items)
I unsuccesfully tried syncing TimeMatters to Outlook, and ActiveSyncing Outook to Pocket Outlook. After creating a PIM.vol file of 40MB on the handset, the device returned "out of memory" errors while of course retaining none of the contacts.
It's unquestionably the size of the transferred files because I can reset the TimeMatters sync preferences to incremental, and the changed items come over to the phone just fine.
this absolutely confirms it's the size of the file causing ActiveSync to choke. I was able to filter out contacts and successfully synced both calendar and tasks.
I subsequently attempted to reduce the number of contacts by deleting them from the main database (TimeMatters stores such items in a "Recycle bin") so only about half of them remained to be synced. Even with only 5000 contacts (and no calendar or tasks), ActiveSync caused the device to disconnect almost immediately

No SMS or Reminder notification

Hi, I have a Jasjam running WM6 and have it has recently not being notifying me of new SMS's or Reminders for appointment via sound notifications. The on screen message still appear, and all of the settings under Sounds & Notifactions are correct.
Any ideas?
I used to remove the Outlook email account by removing the ActiveSync email registry key, just to keep it from displaying, and since I don't sync my email through ActiveSync. But I found that when that key was removed, my device would exhibit this same behavior.
You didn't, by chance, remove this key from the registry, did you?

Calendar entries keep disappearing

as the title says my calendar entries keep disappearing after a while. after restarting the phone the entries are displayed again (no syncing needed).
i suspect that some cruicial process might be stopped when too many applications are running and the phone is low on memory.
anyone experienced this? any suggestions on how to remedy it?
the same for me
same for me too.. plus some of my calendar entries are mixing data from other ones. I should mention that these are all Exchange entries. I have no idea about Google calendar or other ones.
For example, today's items have the Location field set to what items had from last week. Also, sometimes items show up twice like they've been added twice but in outlook they are appearing only once.
i am using google sync but it happened before too (while still on exchange).
i have done some testing and when the entries disappear i use Advanced Task Manager to end the service (background process ... or whatever it is called) Calendar Storage. the service restarts automatically and the entries are there again.
it's quite annoying

[Q] Outlook sync adds invitations to calendar entries

Happy New Year. I recently had to reset and rebuild my HD2, so I installed Outlook on my PC and used active sync to "back up" my HD2 contacts, calender, tasks, etc. Everything looked OK on the PC so after clearing and rebuilding the HD2, I used sync again to restore things from the PC. Almost everything restored OK and most of the oddities were fixed by editing the entries. However, I am left with one outstanding issue that has stumped me; Every calendar entry thinks it has been sent to me as an invitation. Each entry has "Invitation from: Unknown". I do not know why this has happened, but I cannot get to this calendar field by editing the entry. Does anyone know how to remove the "Invitation from" field, or have an editor that will allow me to do it? Thanks.
