What programs can the Dopod Run?

I find some freeware programs for the dopod but every time i execute them it get the message "not a valid pocket pc program".
When downloading these apps, which one will work on the Dopod?
ARM? XSCALE?
I know .cab files work but finding the apps i want as a .cab has proven difficult.
XSCALE is the name that intel gave their arm compatible cpu
"not a valid pocket pc program"
is the typical error msg people who try to run pc activesync install applications directly on their pda rather then run them on their pc

How to find correct "BlueSoleil" driver or other Bluetooth driver

Hi
Having a problem to get my bluetooth running (see previous posts) the QTEK support answered to install the "Bluesoleil" Bluetooth driver.
On the web site of Bluesoleil it is possible to download an evaluation version but when I install it, it doesn't run.
The installation process seems to be OK, but when I tap on the bottom right Bluetooth Icon I get :
"Impossible to find 'NULL' (or one of its components). Check the path and the file name are corrects and all the libraries are available".
If I try to launch with the shortcut from program screen, nothing happens.
When I use windows file explorer I can see that a new directory has been created in "program files" but empty.
Is it possible to get a correct installation of this product (or another one to manage Bluetooth instead of Microsoft basic one which doesn't run) ?
Thanks
Thanks

Certificate problem when trying to open various applications

I’ve searched, and whilst there are a few thread on similar themes, nothing quite seems to help me with the issue I’ve got.
When I try to open some applications I’ve installed, i get the error message “The file xxx cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file.”
Reinstalling the applications in question does not help.
I've read various threads saying you should change the security settings on your device by using a program on your desktop PC called Security Configuration Manager. That installs and opens fine, but won't connect to my device, which is recognised and connects just fine using Active Sync. i've tried this on two PCs i have, and neither recognises that the device is connected.
Other thread suggest altering certain registry settings. I've tried to do that from my PC using CeRegEditor, but I get the message "Access not allowed" when I try and save the changes i want to make.
Another thread suggests a program to create certificates, but I'm not at all sure about what this means or how to go about it, or even if it's going to solve the problems I'm encountering.
Surely there has to be some way of changing a setting somewhere, so that an application can be used without it having to have a valid/signed security certificate?
Can anyone help me please? Here's hoping...
Sorted...
The issue cleared itself - how strange!

Can't connect Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile Center

I have a Windows Mobile 6.1 device that I need to connect to Windows Mobile Center via Blutooth.
Note: The same steps Works with a Windows Mobile 5.1 device in the same computer, and I tested with two different computers.
I can pair the PC and the PDA without problem.
In the PC I run Windows Mobile Center.
In the PDA I run ActiveSync and select "Connect via Bluetooth".
The PDA open a window with the text "Openning port...".
The text changes to "User authenticated".
The window closes, and a full screen message with title "Synchronization Error" and text "This device is not allowed to connect to desktop computer" appears.
The PDA is a new and clean device. The computer isn't connected to Active Directory Domain. It has Windows 7 (the two computers tested)
I thing this is a security configuration, but I can't disable or grant access. The pair Works without any error, and I can see the pair settings on the PC and on the PDA.
Also: When I try to run an app (.exe) copied from SD Card or install (.cab) an error "This app is not signed with a trusted certificate" is shown, and I wan't to remove this block, but I can't edit register or Access via ActiveSync.
Note: I post similar questions on other forums, different to "xda" without response.
Thanks for your help!
In the end the problem was that the device was locked for security. The manufacturer sent me a cab to disable security, which in this case only annoyed.
If someone has the same problem, send me an email to duefectu(a)sd-a.com and I will forward the file.
