Well I have not been on here for a couple of tdays now, and all i see now are 3 pages. Is it me or have 100's of pages gone.
I thought the same thing..... so searched around the options and changed a parameter to get them all back.....
From the top banner, click 'UserCP' then 'Edit Option' scroll down to the 'Thread Display Options' section and change the 'Default Thread Age Cut Off' field to "Show all threads"
....you should get all the threads back.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: The only problem I have now is that the forum opens in alphabetical order of posts and not sorted by last posted date. I can change this by clicking the posted date column, but it's buggin' me.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for the information, I'm now sorted too. To revert to the usual sort, can't you just click on the header and that seems to sort it.
Hope it works for you,
Regards,
White.

Hi all...
I was wondering if there was a hack or something available to make the jogwheel perform a smooth scroll in PIE instead of scrolling through the links?
I did a search but didn't find anything.
TIA!
in wiki, you can find the registry hack that will allow up/down and scroll wheel to page down rather than hyperlink jumps.
the hack only refers to up down controls, but it works the same on the jog wheel.
there are heaps of other wonderful hacks there also if you havent already been there.
Look under WIKI, down the bottom WM5 Registry hacks.
Yes that's absolutely right - use the Wiki
If you have Tweaks2k2 this has a setting to do the change for you.
Note that changing to smooth scrolling changes the TAB behaviour when writing SMS e-mails and you can no longer tab from the "To" box to the body of the message.
Smooth scrolling avoids the link to link scrolling but will scroll a page at a time. I have not found anything that scrolls one line at a time (though very strangely it randomly does scroll a line at a time!!)

Aha, so that's why the tab function does not work anymore in my sms app! thanks for this info.
Cool, thanks for the info!
I'm not worried about the To field in SMS messages. I don't normally use the jogwheel to change between To and the message body.
It's too bad that there isn't built-in functionality for the wheel like in Windows for the mousewheel, choosing to scroll 1 line, 6 lines, or a page at a time.
What is the Wiki?

The Wiki is the fount of all knowledge. Well not quite but - the Wiki is a site within XDA-Developers that contains information on those things about the Hermes (TyTn) that are largely sorted out. It has general info, specific info, technical info, solutions to problems and of course the stuff for those true developers - the ROM guru stuff as well as info on flashing, upgrading etc. Here is the link - save it but if you loose it there is a sticky post at the top of the Hermes 1st page of Hermes posts that takes you to it!

Hi, I use pieplus+, you can adjust the jogwheel scroll settings to what says line, I think its similar to the scroll in tweaks2k2..its a lot better that the default, that's all I know, but the main thing I did notice is that the tab to field with the jogwhee stil works on sms, email..etc.
Just throwin that out there, I rarely use the jogwheel on sms, mails myself.
Yeah pieplus worked in that department for me as well!
OK, I've put the theme back here, despite the second post as others were posting it here anyway.
I've used %radiophone as the second line in anattempt to get rid of the number all together. I prefer to keep the first screen simple because I always tend to press a contact, then select a number to call afterwards.
If you need to edit that field, follow the instructions on the PocketCM forum.
There is a thread dedicated to PocketCM - why not post there? Is it a new application developing or is it a hack?
Love to see what this theme looks like on my device, but having problems downloading the bliss theme from the site you mentioned. Do I have to be a member or sign in? Can you upload it here? Thanks in advance.
Didn't see a dedicated thread here for themes.
There are a couple of separate threads though:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334837
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=329917
so I started another one.
My mistake.
[edit] as others have now posted the theme here, I'm using the first post for the current version

I've ammended the first thread to reflect this.

Still having problems downloading it. I'll try again later.
I tried again, (opera browser), and it's not downloading the zip file. I'm pretty familiar with downloading/installing pocketcm themes and never encountered a problem such as this.
NICE!
Nice theme thanks downloaded and using now - been browsing that forum for a while and havent found anything - do you have any more?

Here you go.
A funny thing though, the only contact phone numbers posted beneath the contact's name when viewing the list of contacts are pager numbers, lol. I was tripping when I saw, out of 73 contacts, only 5 numbers were listed, lol. It seemed odd. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon. I'd prefer to see home, business, or mobile numbers. Just a thought.
thanks robo, the buttons are similar to my new icons i just made for the iphone theme, I like to stay away from color so that they are interchangeable between different backgrounds. this one looks good though, props

Waiting for yours, as I agree with you. It looks very clean for I prefer simple colors, or rather limited. The icons are the ****, lol (**** meaning really really good).
This is the best colored theme, good job. i was wondering if the side where the letters come down in alphabetical order could be black with the letters coming down in white to match the colored pattern going across. also was wondering if the alignment in the "contacts" view could be evenly arranged so that the tops of the contact name does not show after the last contact being viewed(like if you are looking at the contacts in "c" the very last contact name in "c" shows just the top letters) and when you select a contact and they have multiple options(sms, home#,work#) the tops of the last option is also slightly exposed atlest on my 700wx,but overall this is the best visual one i have seen.
Thanks all for your comments
robosiris With regard to the numbers being pager numbers, I actually wanted to have NO numbers at all. I explained in the pocketCM forum that I did this to simplfy the screen contents as I usually select a contact THEN choose a number to dial.
In the UK (certainly amongst my friends, we don't use pagers any more so I picked this field)
I've now changed it to %radiophone to show even FEWER numbers ;-).
However, if you want it to show a particular field, feel free to change the settings.ini file, as per the instructions on the PocketCM site.
mankoorb I understand about the top part of the characters showing, but as the app is totally "analogue" in terms of where the scroll stops, this will only happen if you use the index to select a new section. The next time you scroll with your fingers, it may misalign again. Also depends on whether you've got fullscreen mode on or off.
I don't think the index can have a background colour (might be wrong) so for now, that will stay as is (grey text, now very slightly darker than before).
Button height I've now changed, so only four complete buttons show when it's in full-screen mode.
Dave Hutch
ok dave understood. if the vertical index's color can not be altered, then maybe the horizontal index(once you have selected a look up letter) can be stretched all the way across the screen so it does not look cut off, and maybe the index letters can be tried in white to add to the brightness of the theme. with most themes being dark and using only 2 colors i enjoy this theme for its color and animated feel. good job!
The letter index (white on black)
cannot be stretched across the screen as it would overlap the #A at the top of the index (if I understand you correctly).
There are obviously restrictions to the app. layout as well as a vast amount of customization opportunities.
For other adjustments, you can easily do these to suit youor own taste by changing values in the settings.ini file that is contained in the bliss.cmt file.
It's basically a zip file renamed to .cmt.
Open it with Winzip and change the line that reads index_font_color=40,40,40
to index_font_color=255,255,255 to get white
For other custom changes, see the PocketCM site for instructions.

Using 0.98. Is there anyway to stop both date and time being displayed once you lock. Have tried using the settings program and got the clock to disappear by not setting a clock font, but no similar option for the date, so this still appears. Thanks in advance
Turn curtain off. Perhaps that removes everything though. IT's an option at the bottom of the settings.
no. the curtain is only to remove
the translucent shadow that is behind the clock and date so as to maKe them more legible.
A better place to post all of this might have been in the development and hacking section under the Slide 2 unlock thread? Just a thought.

Right, had enough of the forum police following me around, nothing actually productive just derogatory. Will post my question in the "development" section, thanks to those who did try to assist!
Yeah you can edit out the date in the registry. HKCU - software- AC- s2u2 and delete everything in the dateformat data.
I was not trying to be negative. I was just saying that you might find the exact answer you are looking for in there. No harm meant.
this version doesnt work on my touch. going back to 96.
change the lang.ini file and have a blank date.
Thanks decimusmaximus7, that's a winner!

Since my search doesn't lead me to any conclusion on this:
MarkAllReadInbox.CAB as described in the "Leo Hints, Tips and Registry Tweaks" post doesn't work at all on the HD2?
Not at all at all?
Right?
if its the same one I have installed (can't check right now) then yes it does, you have to scroll down in the menu popup to find it, and not from the email tab, from within inbox.
Oh my! You're right! It never occurred to me that there were further options at the bottom of the pop-up (why don't they pop further up?!) so I never saw it. Thanks!!
First off I gotta say what a great forum. ;o) There's so much neat stuff in here! I just got me a HD2 and I simply love the phone. Been using some HTC's earlier but just for e-mail handling.
Well, to start off I have a couple of questions as I can't seem to find similar posts on the forum on the subject.
1. Is there a .cab for removing the "bar's" around the date, alarm and calendar on the first page/home page? Or if someone know of a theme-cab that wil make the choices on the home page transparent-like.
2. Found a cab here for removing the upper curtain so the bar get's transparent but it didn't do the trick. The curtain is still black.
I'd like the home page to be as transparent as possible so it's possible to see most of the background image.
Using stock ROM v1.66.409.1 (Manila)
Sorry if this/these question(s) have been asked before as I have been searching and going through posts for a day now. Hehe. Pardon my English.
Thanks in advance.

1a. Copy "Calendar and Date transparent" cab to phone and launch from there. Soft reset phone to take effect.
1b. After soft reset, if there is a black vertical bar between the words Date and Alarm then copy "Remove black line" to phone, launch and soft reset.
If you don't like the effects done, go to "Remove Apps" and uninstall.
2. Found a cab here for removing the upper curtain so the bar get's transparent but it didn't do the trick. The curtain is still black.
2a. For operator bar, use the "Touch X remove top curtain" cab. If is the taskbar where the Start button is located, search for HDWall in the forum.
I'd like the home page to be as transparent as possible so it's possible to see most of the background image.
