hello,
i`m searching for a answering machine for my xda.
I´m realy sick about the fücking service providers and
and how they make money with the answering services.
many years ago, i`ve had a hagenug phone with
inbuild answering machine. that was before the
ericsson 197 model comes on the market. (8-10 years ago)
but i think that the providers manipulatet the mobile phone manufacturers and sold them much money, that the don`t build in answering machines.
many of the actual handys has got the capabilitiys to sample the incoming sound. (voice memo functions)
but no one has got an inbuild answering machine.
for symbian handys a software is available.
lool at: http://www.symbianware.com/product.php?id=sanswer60&lang=en
but its for the lame Nokia 3650,7650,Sony P800 phones.
DOM
I have Motorola P7689 for many years, it comes with build-in voice mail system.
yes but the motorola isn`t a solution for my xda
or i install a motorola emu *lol*
DOMin8or did you managed to get any application to that. I am looking for an answering machine for my XDA II but i couldn't find any.
No answering machine!
Hi there,
more then a year ago I had the same question for my XDA, but no answer. Just search the forum for "answering machine" and you find my (and other) questions. One thing I found out was that HP had an answering machine program on one of their Jornadas(568). (I think it never came to market)
So, if you succeed in finding such a program, let me know.
Greetings,
Kaputter
The answering machine was on the Jornada 928 and it did come to market and worked very well indeed.

HI
Is it possiable to view a webcam image with MSN Messenger for pocket pc using Mobile 2003se.
I have looked at the tools option within the MSN Messenger software currently running om my XDA II with Mobile 2003se, & can find no option to receive a webcam call or sound?
Having searched the net on this issue, I have found mention of a program called Microsoft Portrait which appears to give this function to MSN Messenger, but although this is a microsoft product, which is currently downloadable, I am a little reluctant to try as it's dated 2004 ver 2.3.
I have also looked at upgrades for MSN Messenger for Mobile 2003se & there is a site which will upgrade the product via Activesync, but with no listing of what features are available, or version No. to check against.
(Is it actually possiable to identify version of MSN Messenger running under 2003se in some way?)
Has anyone gone through this route before who can help me?
I am looking to write some code to rename a pocket pc device, does anyone have any examples to do this?
I am currently running an O2 XDA 2i with Pocket PC 2003.
I have Visual Studio .NET 2005 Pro.
Hi,
i've found an ipaq h1915 and would like to use it on my vista.
but because it is still a windows mobile 2002 and vista needs atleast 2003, i can't use it.
can someone help me with this prob.
thx
Jerre
anyone an idee or a link to: how to change a windows mobile?
Change it in to what?
Just kidding. Didn't know Vistas device center does not support old PPCs. One more reason not to use this crappy OS.
Unfortunately as far as I know there is no update for that model.
You could check out HP site, but I doubt you will find anything. Your best bet is to download ActiveSync 3.8 (google it since MS no longer provides downloads) or even 4.5 (from MS site) and see if Vista lets you install and run it.
thx for the reply.
i also had the idee to download the active sync 4.5, but as usually doesn't work on vista because vista has a program of it's own for that.
called mobile device center, installed it... gues what doesn't work on windows mobile versions before 2003

exchange server and flexmail 2007
