Import CONTACTS from .CSV

Anyone knows a program that imports contacts from a .csv file into the list on my Qtek S110?
I previously owned a Nokia N-gage phone and I exported my contacts in a .csv file and now I'm trying to put them back on my new phone.
Thanks
ggeorge. Have you tried importing your .csv into outlook on your pc? (File menu > import/export)
That way it'd sync straight over afterwards to your PPC.
Yahoo is also quite nice for importing and exporting to Outlook, so if you have troubles, try to import your csv into Yahoo Mail address book, and then export it out again from there!

How to export contacts to import in other phone.

Is there a way to simple export all contacts to a universal format so that it can be easy imported into another phone.
I'm just interested in exporting names with phonenumbers, I'm not interested in any other information in the contacts, so just names+phonenumber.
I coudn't find any way to do this in windows mobile.
I guess I need a tool for this.
I'm not looking for a solution that needs outlook, but just a simple tool that exports my contacts so I can use it in another phone (non-windows mobile).
Can anyone give advice please...
thanks in advance....
hi,
I know you said you weren't looking for a solution that needs outlook, but I think that it's the easiest way to do what you are asking for... After synchronizing, follow these steps:
1. In Outlook, choose File Import and Export.
2. In Outlook, follow the instruction and export your contacts as either Tab Delimited windows or Tab Delimited MS-DOS type.
3. In Outlook, choose the fields in "contacts" you would like to export. (Just export the fields you need)
That will do it for you.
You can also try this.

Again, a 'solution' using outlook is not an option.
The tool you are referring tool does not support WM5, but thanks for mentioning anyway.
Typically microsoft to leave very important functionaly like this out of WM5 but instead you get MSN on the today page (wich I never use and even don't want to have)
This pisses me off....

What carrier are you on and what phone is it?Does it use a SIM card? And,does this device have internet capabilities?
Try this
Sync contact with Outlook Express from current device.
connect new device, now again Sync with new device.

Se k750 Contacts - > Se X1

How to remove???
im guessing you asking how to get them from ur 750 to the X1.
Use a program called MyPhoneExplorer, copy all contacts from phone memory, they will save as VCard files. Take them from this program to a windows folder on your desktop and then transfer via ActiveSync etc etc..
Thats how i did it with mine and it worked fine
No.
I ever try to send it via BlueTooth - x1 says something about "data may be damaged"...
Outlook 2007 can read them, but my contacts with utf-8 and cyrillic unicode - but outlook use wrong character table...
For some reason you cant bluetooth contacts over.
This way worked for me, im out of ideas, anyone else got a clue??
would dashwire work?
Don't know if it's supports cyrillic

I tryed to sing in - only support windows mobie based phones.
what's about k750 ?
Doesn't work for me too, same error about corrupted or missing data.
I tried both bluetooth transfer of the complete contacts from my K800i to x1 and exporting with MyPhoneExplorer to a single vcf file and importing it to x1.
while sending a single contact with bluetooth all works ok.
Good news : )
Info.
Data in vCard must be in Quoted-Printable Encoding Format,
something about "Name;Quoted-Printable:=08=0A=0B=6E=7F"
Some models (as k750) make vCards with UTF-8 Encoding Format,
something about "Name;UTF-8:df34wedf6w54aQWERQ"
Solve.
I used Windows XP standart address book to import UTF-8 contacts (from SE),
and that address book can export in Quoted Printable Format.
But it can export only one by one contacts, so i use Ghost Automizer to record keyboard pressing, and it program helped me to export all 356 contacts : )
Then that contacts mau be one by one imported in outlook 2007, or "clicked" in xperia.
I sent them one by one via BT b/c X1 wouldn't accept complete phone book.
I tried by installing Outlook and syncing my k800 with it through MyPhoneExplorer, then syncing back to X1, it worked partially: all phone numbers are missing the + at the beginning (i save all with +39 something, and now i have them all without)
Using only Address Book will help you to keep all "+".
All of my 365 contacts saves its "+" : )
Outlook
Step 1: Use my phone explorer and sync your SE 750 contacts with the same. Then in My Phone explorer there is an option to sync the same to Outlook. Do the same. Now your contacts are in oulook.
Step II: Remove SE K 750. Connect X1 and set up Activesync (Win XP) or WMDC6.1 (Win Vista).
Sync settings select contacts to sync and all outlook contacts get transfeered to your phone.
Alternative II
In my phone Explorer export all contacts as vcards if oulook sync doen't work (although no reason for it to misbehave). Drag and drop all vcards to Outlook. it works.
Repeat step II as above.
Take Care

I used this method, but as said before, contacts were transfered without the initial +
do not use outlook.
copy vcards on x1 and run their from x1
it is the only safe way

Thanks it worked, but I am looking for something with which I can export text messages in a file. A text file or excel or something like that, there is no option in MS MY Phone to export text messages to a file on local pc.
can't u use Excel to view csv files? I print (file-print) to make copies (personel records) using MyPhone. works ok. U could also select text and copy and past to ur favorite word processor program.
I've found a software known as Jeyo Mobile Companion v2.1 for the purpose. No need to use Microsoft my phone or Activesync

Importing contacts

The user manual indicates the Iconia A500 can import contacts in the CSV format. I tried it but it didn’t work. I also tried converting my CSV files to VCard. That didn’t work either.
Can anyone help me solving this issue?
Thanks for your support.
The best and easiest way to do it is to import your contacts to Gmail. Do you have any specific reason why you want to import your contacts as Iconia contacts? Having your contacts in Gmail is better so you also see the same contacts on your phone, assuming that you have an android phone.
Well, actually that’s exactly what I had done and yes, the contacts were imported but the addresses are all garbled.
I used the following procedure:
1 - I exported the contacts from Outlook to a CSV file.
2 - On my windows machine, I logged in to Gmail and imported the CSV file.
3 - On the Iconia, I logged in to Gmail and my contacts synchronised.
