its network specific. For example, as a private user on TMob, conf call facility is not set up. If I was a business user then different story as that is a service offered to business users.

Not possible to transfer a received call

It is impossible to transfer a received call on the GSM. Normally it is possible to put the first call in hold, dial a second number and then transfer the first call to the dialled number.
This functionnality is not included in my GSM - TYTN
Did someone already try this ?

Area Code Problem

I am having the strangest problem with my Hermes 8525 and I can't figure out if its a problem with my provider or the phone its self.
Every time I select an entry in the call history list it is unable to call the person because it is including there area code in the dialing even though its a local call.
Has anyone come accross this? Is it the phone or the provider?

Em.. well I always have to enter the area code when using a mobile. Even if you dial from a land line you can dial the area code (even for a local call) and it will still go through. Or am I being very stupid and missing something here?

three way calling &Switching b/w Calls & Release Single call

I saw the manual for how to make three way calling.
I understood how to make 3-way calling. when i am in a call either "recieve a new call and press talk again" or "make a new call and press talk again"
My problems are:
1. I am not able to end/release a single call after making conference.
2. I am not able to end/release the new call and continue on the old call unless the new call eneded by the other party.
3. I am not able to swap the calls when i am not in conference call.
I was able to these in my previous winodws mobile phones t-mobile SDA and Dash.
Is ther any additional app to make this possible or Is there a way of operating the mogul to achieve these.
Please help.
no replies.
is the problem stupid
or
no one knows a solution
i am really not able to operate the above.
i really appreciate your help.
I have not tried this yet on my mogul but to switch between calls all you need to do is hit the call button. As far as ending the call, I always wait for the person to hang up. Sorry I could not help.

Sprint Conditional Call Forwarding

Getting my EVO tomorrow, bought from Google I/O attendee. Not 100% sure I am going to ditch my Sprint Touch Pro 2. I think I will activate the EVO using the Google I/O free month of service and use conditional forwarding on my Sprint TP2 subscribed number and direct it to the EVO. That way I can keep the TP2 off, or with the phone radio off at least, and get calls routed to the EVO for free with no/very little delay. That way I can test the EVO without switching service from my TP2, and not give out the temp EVO phone number, and not rack up charges on my existing subscription with Sprint.
To enable conditional call forwarding:
*28 + number + send
To disable conditional call forwarding:
*38 + send
I think this will work without charging me airtime to my TP2 account, as opposed to standard call forwarding (*72) which is quite costly.
Anyone?
I did not know this. I'm going to ask Sprint chat right now.
Edit: Ok, apparently I cannot connect to Sprint chat at all. Does anyone know how to get on? I'm signed in, but any chat link I click says that they are offline. WTF.

I was reading this article:

http://support.sprint.com/support/a...#__highlight&id16=conditional+call+forwarding
19:21:30 Alan Mishell
And I wanted to double check that conditional forwarding would not increase the charges to my bill. Can you confirm?

One moment please.

Thanks.

I can assure you that conditional call forwarding is free.
19:26:09 Alan Mishell
So if I have conditional call forwarding setup and my phone is off or out of service area, the conditional forwarding would occur if a call comes in and there would be no charge?
19:27:57 Larilyn
Conditional Call Forwarding (No Answer/Busy): Free *73 - If a caller receives no answer when calling my mobile phone, then forwards the call to the alternate number. *74 - If a caller receives a busy signal when calling my mobile phone, then forwards the call to the alternate number. *28- If a caller receives no answer or a busy signal when calling my mobile phone, then forwards the call to the alternate number.

Great. Thank you for your time!
Manage conditional call forwarding:

does this include texts?
Just in case you did not want to trust a csr, here it is directly from the sprint website.
All call forwarding is included at no additional cost for customers on the Simply Everything Plan. For other service plans, calls forwarded immediately (Unconditional Call Forwarding, *72) costs $0.20/min. Forwarding calls to another number if the person who's calling you gets no answer or a busy signal is free. This is called Conditional Forwarding (*73, *74 or *28).

I'm using the conditional (*28) forwarding right now, and everything works just fine. I keep my Hero off, and all of my calls go right to my EVO.

Verizon N900V Phone Dialing Issue

I have upgraded to kk 4.4.4, Since I upgrade I have problem to select options using dial pad. From contacts or using dial entering nos in dial pad I can make calls but like when I need to call customer support I can dial there no and connects but when computer gives options like press 1 for voice mail 2 to someone at that time when press nos at dial pad does nothing. I can hear key tone pressed but doesn't select in their options. I can't even listen my voice mail. when dial voice mail it connection and when gives options keypad press high lights and key tone sounds but no selection. i have tried changing one hand options and installing other dialing apps like exdialer, rocket dialer nothing working. When used 3rd party dialer just dial pad changes and when at options selection it shows again stock dial pad. And one more thing when I'm talking on phone and if I get second call phone disconnects.
I'm using LYCA Mobile USA with verizon N900V If I use same sim with other phone everything works fine, So I know this is only problem with phone set.
Just I'm having this issue or some one also having this problem. Some has solution please help. Thanks
I Have the Same issue
I purchased the phone from Verizon and i'm using cricket now, i can't access any dial pad option when i dial voicemail or any 1 - 800....... number like for customer care press 0 i press the 0
but the response still say for customer service press zero, i sent the phone to Samsung with my factory warranty but Samsung seems doesn't really care they send me back the phone with no problem fix, and besides that i used to have a dial issue if i call some on from my call log it adds 01117730000000 some like this it seems like the phone is dialing International for local calls but i got fixed that problem. but i need help for the $700.00 phone i paid it's a piece of crap Samsung doesn't really care i would't never purchase a Samsung phone if there warranty services doesn't do noting.
