i have been offered an xda exec on o2.
how do i check to see if its good before i buy,ie:check that its not barred etc?

I've had 2 devices from o2 and they are unlocked even though the guy said they were

Yep got mine yesterday, phoned up o2 and they said they had them in stock but wasn't selling them payasyougo went in store and they were!
Anyway there is no difference between the o2 N4 and the play store N4 from what I can tell and its definitely unlocked even though in o2 they seemed to think it wasn't.

I wanted to know if I buy a network locked HTC One from O2 UK and then get it sim unlocked by a corner shop or website.
Can the bootloader be unlocked via HTC Dev or will that not work on O2 HTC Ones??

Thanks guys. O2 is the only place that seems to have any in stock over here in the UK. Phones4u are out of stock apart from one store but they won't sell sim free
