How can I install the bluetooth PAN User driver on my xda II, for those who wonder what is that, this is supposed to be the driver of the bluetooth NIC that should appear when you go to Settings->Connections->Network Cards, but for some reasons i can't find it on the XDA II.
Please Xda-developers if you have more info about this one tell me.

Hey, could someone please tell me which is the most stable version of the widcomm bluetooth stack as I have tried a few versions and I didn't get on well with them at all due to it not even starting the bluetooth. I am running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition on my himalaya.
Thank you,

If I'm not mistaken there is not one available yet which is working on XDA II with W2k3 Se installed.
But there are threads in which people are discussing how to patch it.

Hi I've been looking through the forum for the last couple of days and I'm really impressed by the great tips and downloads etc.
Anyway I have a question regarding the Bluetooth configuration /connectivity options available on the S110. In comparison to my other devices the Bluetooth on the S110 sucks.
So I'd like to install the Widcomm version, I've tried the bluetooth_GPS.cab but it fails to initialise the bluetooth stack, so the question is has anyone been able to install and overwrite the current Bluetooth on the Magician?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
sorry to inform u that the Widcomm Bt stack does not work on the Magician
there is another Bt stack made By toshiba ( for it's own PPC ) and it works on the Magician and adds alot of new profiles missing from the M$ stack , but it's not stable.
I guess I M$ Stack sucks, but you'll get used to it...
cheers
Hello,

But Tytn uses another Stack, there's no funktion for networking.
Any ideas?
Thanx

Hello,
I would love to replace the MS BT Stack by the Widcomm BT Stack.
I've been searching and reading the internet on this topic, but it seems that I can't seem to find any kind of guide that definitely works...
Anyone on xda-developers who has replaced the WM5 MS BT Stack by the Widcomm one on a HTC Prophet? If so, please provide us some info abou where to get the Widcomm software and how to install it.
Many thanks in advance!
With kind regards,
l:x
Search for "BT_STACKX51V05.CAB"
Hi the only ones I find are those related to Smart1's posts and these are known to be faulty.
Where are you looking?

If i may ask, what is the benefit of changing the BT stack? what does the widcomm one adds?
I red some time ago that the MS Stack has only 2 profiles and the Widcomm Stack has about 14 profiles for use!
And you can setup the Widcomm more easier than the MS Stack and it has more functions!
But you need about 8 MB free storage on your device and it can't be installed on a Storage Card if you want that the BT Stack is working correctly!

Thanks a lot.
What do you mean by profile though? like serial, active sync, ... ?
Profiles are Protokolldefinitions.
Headset, Soft Modem, Serial, .... are Profils!
