When i try and setup the traffic services It will not connect to the GPRS on the phone, it can see the phone and communicate, but the phone drops the connection to GPRS when the TT tries to connect, I have tried playing with the settings without sucess.
Any Ideas greatly appreciate!!

Tmobile GPRS and Push Email :?:

Hi guys, I got the new SonyEricsson M600 and had the settings sent over from SonyEricsson website for the GPRS, I also added the another account setting from http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html. The activesync application was unable to hold a signal for more than 10 to 15 minutes and it would disconnect. I believe it might have something to do with the port numbers or proxy being used.
So if someone that has connected succefully to t-mobile uk and has push working without a glitch please advise on any settings.
Much appreciated.
P.s I also have an Orange contract and that has synced perfectly without a problem on activesync without any disconnects. :?:

TomTom GO 300

Has anyone managed to get the Hermes (MDA Vario II) to connect to a TomTom GO device and then connect to the internet to use Traffic etc? I appear to be able to pair with the GO but then the connection set up fails. When it tries to connect it actually disconnects the current 3G connection. I've tried just using GPRS but that doesn't work either. I'm out of ideas now.

Vario II -- internet problems.

Hi all,
I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario II, and I cannot connect to the internet, or send and receive email. I can, however, connect to my wireless LAN.
My vario DOES connect to 3g (or shows it's connected) but I keep getting 'This page cannot be displayed' error while surfing.
Can anyone supply me with the correct settings I need to use to connect?
Thanks guys, and gals.

It's aknown problem with T-Mobile. It's been happening for around two weeks now with no sign of a resolution. T-Mobile can't be bothered to inform its customers but if you phone you'll be told to use GPRS.
All working for me, both GPRS and 3G.
Have you tried changing your dns servers?
Try 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2

My Vario II was having the same problem.
Switched to GPRS and it worked. I then used the Fit4Cat program to disable HSDPA. This resulted in me falling back to 3G and everything working perfectly!
HSDPA was working fine for me since the Vario II was first launched but the last few weeks I've had no joy.
I might phone T-Mobile and see if HSDPA has been disabled on my account. If it has, then the sneaky swines must've disabled it.
Thanks guys, I'll give your sugestions a go today and report back.

O2 Gprs & wireless

I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario (XDA Mini S) I am using with an O2 pay and go sim card. I can get my gprs working fine and my wireless working fine but not at the same time. everytime I want to use one or the other I have to take out the proxy server settings. Does anybody have a solution for this without having to keep doing this.

The aswering modem has disconnected. To check your connection settings and change them if need, tap Settings.
I have tried many things, but it doesnt work at all...
In the Hi store they can't help me, and the supportline says i must visit the Hi store.
