Hi,
I'm trying to share my GPRS connection with my friend who has the IPAQ 1940. I'd like to use the Bluetooth connection.
I am using the BluetoothGPS.zip bluetooth stack which is basically the IPAQ one.
Can I just initate a SSA connection on the IPAQ and it'll automatically dial on mine?
To share Xda II intenet access to group of ppc or PC, I use pocketpcproxy (I named it ).
But that program are not perfected yet. If you are interesting, please check at http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=72
or http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/default.asp
Thanks, that's what i'm looking for...
BUT I noticed that the Widcomm bluetooth hacked drivers cause a lot of problems with the Pocket PC... Once you install that, your regular bluetooth gets messed up.
Also, you cannot use the Widcomm for SSA.
I'll email him anyway, thanks

Using Belkin BT Access Point with XDAII
Juergen,
I have the same problem - a friend has loaned me the Belkin Bluetooth AP and I cannot get my XDAII to connect.
The problem appears to be that the XDAII bluetooth driver does not support the "LAN Access" profile.
There is a thread regarding this problem on the XDA-developers site. Look at
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=14747
I think this requires a bit of work to get it going... I haven't got the courage up to do anything major to my XDA yet!
Cheers,
Lee
Have you tried installing pocket bluetooth tools?
@radiocode
Thanks for your hint, but i´m looking for something really working on my XDAII under WM2003. In your mentioned thread is too much hacking for me!
@guest
Can you give me more information?
hi ppl
as the title suggests can someone please post some info on how to setup an ActiveSync connection from my PC to my xda mini via bluetooth?

thanks!
however i get to the :
"Select the Options button..." - in Microsoft ActiveSync.
But the "options" button is actually greyed out for me, so i cant get any further...any ideas?
if it's on the pocketpc then first you need to bond with the pc
if it's on the pc then you need to choose a com port which the bluetooth use as a valid com connection if the pda use vidomm bluetooth stack then the site also have a guide to set it up using that
My magician doesn't have a bluetooth configuration like that in figures.
Mine is MUCH MORE simple.
Looking at the figures it seems that the bluetooth stack on that pocket pc is the widcomm...
Anyone knows how to upgrade the bluetooth stack on my Magician?
..or better.. is there a way to use it with the current bluetooth implementation?
prob because you picked the wrong guide?

Has anyone succeeded in using Internet Sharing over bluetooth with the Trinity? I am trying with a win2000 pc with the Widcomm BT stack and I can't make it work. The manual mentions BT Personal Area Network but the closest thing in the Widcomm stack is called BT Network Access Point.... I am trying to connect the pc and the Trinity that way but no joy so far. If it works for you, can you please post step by step instructions? Thanks.
PS: I don't know what was wrong with the old modem connection like my Qtek S200 had. I could make it work in seconds.
Hi to everybody in the forum...
I just ordered my HTC HD2 "Leo",and I'd like to know if I need to install the "Broadcomm Bluetooth Stack " on it, just to have Bluetooth PAN Client to work......or it is not necessary.
In other words I need to connect to a Bluetooth Access Point ,so it's important for me to have the Bluetooth PAN client on LEO.
Thanks from Giuseppe
Everything is already there.
