Hi, as i am new here, can someone please show me the correct link for HTC universal CID unlock way, and its latest version?
Also, are there any good window mobile 6 for HTC universal that allowed video call released?

I understand you expect everyone new to read everything available on the subject before asking for help on some stuff that's been talked about very much,but please understand how hard it is for newcomers.I bought my UNI 7 days ago and i'm in the same situation,but i read a lot every day,i wanted to learn how to safely flash it to 6.1.The more i read the more i am scared and understand less and less.There are so much names and terms and stuff which makes us dizzy.I posted once for help,i got instructions but was not enough.I decided not to flash,i'm not capable.But i read still everything on that subject.Even though i'm an advanced pc user i have difficulty to get this new stuff straight.So i understand that sometimes someone just got to simply ask. Thanx for understanding

It's all in the wiki. You don't need to read everything. Just what's relevant to you at that particular moment in time. Then when you want to do something else then read up about that.
Oh and WM6 on the uni does NOT support videocall.

Polaris All-in-One

Hi Guys...
hmmm.... story short...
I opened new website www.polarisaio.com
dedicated to HTC polaris...
The idea is to get as much GOOD stuff in one place as possible....
So i find a guide to do somthing somewhere on the net, i'll post it on my web site.
I would appreciate if you could help me out in creating proper, organized resource for everything that related to Polaris.
I just started to update the website today... so there's nothing really yet, but i'll do my best to update and maintain it as regularly as possible.
P.S. I'd like to say that i love XDA-DEVELOPERS.COM , loads and loads of useful info, Thanx all of you great minds who "help us n00bs to evolve into advaced users "
Once again www.polarisaio.com is just an organized resource, concentration point and that is it. All stuff that is on the website belongs to whoever made it(tools, roms, guides) and ill post authors names if its possible...
anyways... hope in a week time i'll have big enough database there...

well
everything all over the place. i was trying to find few things here.. and it took me as houR to do so...
if u have designade area fot polaris why not to put every thing all together.
so i think people like me who own polaris would prefere to visit A website where everything is just bout polaris and if they have a need to update therie rom.. all u have to do is to go to download area and download what they want.. and not search though the whole forum... and MAYBE to find an answer...
all i want, is realy to have everything for my phone in one place.... if i need a rom i go to rom downloads.. and if i need a kitchen i go to kitchen downloads area....
damn.. cant write now.. im drunk as hell.. my wife just had her birthday....
i believe i have **** loads mistakes.. sorry for that.....
she is beautyful woman... i want to have a website as beautiful as she is for Polaris

I've got to agree with you - I spend fully half my xda-developers time looking for something I saw last week. It's the definitive site but because a lot of the information is scattered throughout the site, it's just not organized all that well for "amateurs" (like me).

Hi All, sorry but as some of u, who registred on the polarisaio.com, might have notice the website crashed.
so now its back with all proper stuff installed and all it needs is content.
please dont lose hope in Polaris All-In-One
we'll get there.
There is new section on recipies. check it out. (its only one there for now)
But as i said we'll get there.
If u have any ideas links or what ever it is there please pm me on the website or here.

the idea is nice but not very realistic. In the end it will be one more page we have to visit to find what we need or to give support. Maybe one should invest the time to clean up here?

of another registration for being able to use the site?
I have a thousands of registration meanwhile and I really
get sick with every new one I have to do for no real
reason, because all of the stuff on the site is free, isn't it?

well all the guides you can read without registering.
only downloads require signup, traffic you know.
im not trying to make another xda-developers, its just one place where u can find all you need for ur polaris phone. without hours of searching

what about the xda-dev wiki here for polaris. why we don't extend it? the information there is very rare for polaris devices. i would really appreciate this. i would do it, but till now im rather new to this device.

It was available since i first visited this forum Many people dont actually go to wiki pages and prefer to get confused by reading here and there. I am glad you did opposite of the what masses do. And added to it too

I think it will be a great idea, actually thats what I was intending, most experienced users first try the wiki page. Actually I was pretty surprised not to find it in the Gene page. Hope you don't mind checking the Vox wiki page, it will give you some idea how to go about it. I know you can do it .

Ya, will give it a shot tonight. Hey, did you tried that battery icon dll that a guy posted in the Stickey thread? Its great! Show you percentage of battery discharged in the intervals of 1% on the top of battery bar. I am thinking about including it in next version of ROM

i would like to know if I approach them {HTC} for warranty over my phone for some hardware issue is it possible to get my phone repaired ??
or can i cheat them by installing old 6.1??

For minor problem you can bring your device to your friend Rakesh thats me,
and the default WM version for new gene is 6.0 not 6.1,

do gene supports 2350 mah battery ??
bcos as most of the senior members saying that wizards battery is supported by gene
wizard also supports 2350 and 2850 mah battery costing 1000 bucks approx

i m thinking to cleanup gene-upgrading sub forum just like ppl do it devlopment-and-hacking sub forum
we remove all sticky from here and put all thread link to with nice description in wiki only one sticky remain here which redirect user to wiki
if anybody like idea, plz reply.

if the users will finally have to open the post linked in wiki then there is no need to put them in wiki n unstuck them. Just my opinion, no offense.

hmm but forum look ugly if some more sticky added. also some sticky thread are not useful after some time. eg. if somebody remember my XIP porting thread which ppl stick long time ago but current new kitchen don't need xip porting so I removed if myself.
also currently two kitchen thread has sticky if we combine both, also there r three diffrent sticky thread only for upgrading and know how to HSPL phone if we combine all it's good for new ppl + forum look clean.

Yupe I agree, even Da_g 6.5 thread use to be sticky.There are too much of unecessary sticky ,like how to create packages ,when one software(cab2oem2newKitchen) can do easily . May it is time when the thread starter request the moderator.or someone else request the moderator.

Welcome to xda-developers! I don't think I've ever seen a device's forum where this isn't the case. If the same question isn't asked in 4 threads in the first page, people aren't trying hard enough.

Just updated the vendor list again. MASSIVE update with new release dates for pretty much every country that is licensed to use the Leo.
Apparently BTC in Netherlands is the cheapest on earth at only €469.
Also a company called Insight in UK is selling the phone today according to their site...anyone confirm this? I may have to scrape the bottom of my penny jar to order it today

i was using a jade it is a Winmo and i just got my tattoo
i had these applications : word,XL, Adobe reader and Notes
i dont see them on the tattoo can some one kindly guide me on getting the same on this phone as these are very import for my day to day biz
Note : i did search i did not find anything is why im asking for this help

Dude, we are always pleased to help you, but please for future questions: use topic titles that already describe your problem in a few words...I've seen quite a lot Threads of you having just "Noob here kindly advise" and similar topic titles...just remember for the future please
Download Documents To Go (Full Version, look up some ware* sites)...there you'll have Office 2007 read/write support AND a PDF reader in one app...
