Voice Command instead of Voice Speed Dial in T-Mobile MDA - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Does anyone know how to put Voice Command on instead of the crappy Voice Speed Dial I currently have on my MDA. Thanks.

Just install the new program and re-route the button.

Best Voice dial software ?

Hi Guys, i know hat this forum has alot of different voice command software scattered all over the place.
I just wondered what people thought was the best one for the xda exec (using bluetooth headset) to activate.
I have tried MS voice Command, which is very accurate but does not switch off the BT connection once it closes it's voice rec system. This means that all system audio is then send to your headset until you manually switch it off with the button.
I like the Cyberon voice dial app supplied but having to create voice tags for everything is a pain
I cannot get Cyberon Voice Commander 1.5 to install correctly and the version on xda-dev's ftp site is chinese
I want to know what people think of Fonix apps, Voice Dial 2.0 seems okay but is limited to only dialing, no full control so would like to try fonix voice central 3.0 buit cannot find anywhere to download this.
what do you guys think.....which do you use (if any) and which do you think is best ?

Voice based dial-by-number on 8525?

My wife recently got a Cingular 8525 and we setup the PTT button to activate voice dialing. The problem is that it is restricted to voice-tag based dialing. On my Motorola KRZR I can hit the voice dial button and say any number I want and it will dial it. I do not have to record voice tags for my contacts. Is there an upgrade for the 8525 to allow this kind of voice dialing?
Yes
Microsoft Voice Command 1.6

Scroll down and follow the instructions for using ms vc 1.5 over the built in cyberon crap. Follow everything except you will be using ms vc1.6 since its the newest.
That did the trick. Voice -dial-by-number is working like a charm now, both with and without a bluetooth earpiece. A very slick piece of software!
Thanks for the pointer.
np glad you got it working.

Voice Speed Dial not working on WM6

Voice Speed Dial not working on WM6
After I have soft reset my Athena I can make one voice speed dial call successfully using built-in mic. On subsequent attempts, immediately after the message "Please speak after the beep" is displayed it displays the error popup, "Unable to process your voice command." I have tried this without background noise, it's a definite fault.
Can anyone help, please?
Cyberon Voice Speed Dial, v 1.2 build 070626
ROM version: 2.20.405.1, from HTC
Further to the above I have discovered that voice speed dial works correctly if I restart in "safe mode", a function of spb pocket plus, which disables plug-ins and a few other things.
Any suggestions?
Microsoft Voice Command also works once only
I've tried MS Voice Command and found it too only works once after soft reset.
What's happening?

Re-route Bluetooth to launch Cyberon Voice Dial

The thing is, that I want to open Cyberon Voice Dialer using my BT instead of Microsoft Voice Commander.
I installed bepe’s WM6.1 Rom which changes the custom Cyberon Voice Dial (SDDialer.exe) with Microsoft Voice Commander (VoiceCmd.exe).
When I activate my Bluetooth headset (push the button on it) it opens Voice Commander as expected.
How do I change it back to launch Cyberon Voice Dialer?. Does any body knows how to sove this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

MS Voice Command & Object Push - Two q's

Good Evening guys,
Just a quicky
Firstly I have installed MS Voice command but how do I program in voice dials? I want to be able to use voice dialing while driving and I have programmed the button so I can dial using voice but can't find anywhere to actually program them in.
Secondly My handsfree for the car supports downloading the address book to it by object push. I have done it with other phones but I am guessing I can't do it with this one? Is that correct?
Thanks in advance,
Max
What handsfree kit are you using ?

Andrew
By default, MS Voice Command maps it to a long press of the Send key.
And not sure what you mean by "program in voice dials" as MS Voice Command doesn't need you to record you saying a person's name, it figures it out via speech to text.
