MS Voice Command & Object Push - Two q's - Touch HD General

Good Evening guys,
Just a quicky
Firstly I have installed MS Voice command but how do I program in voice dials? I want to be able to use voice dialing while driving and I have programmed the button so I can dial using voice but can't find anywhere to actually program them in.
Secondly My handsfree for the car supports downloading the address book to it by object push. I have done it with other phones but I am guessing I can't do it with this one? Is that correct?
Thanks in advance,
Max

What handsfree kit are you using ?

By default, MS Voice Command maps it to a long press of the Send key.
And not sure what you mean by "program in voice dials" as MS Voice Command doesn't need you to record you saying a person's name, it figures it out via speech to text.

Microsoft Voice Command 1.5 successful on the K-JAM!

I have successfully installed and used Microsoft Voice Command 1.50.4333.21 on the i-mate K-JAM.
You must first disable Cyberon's Voice Speed Dial Daemon by deleting the SDaemon.lnk file in \Windows\Startup, then soft-reset.
Install Microsoft Voice Command normally to the main memory, ignoring the erroneous error message about file placement.
Reassign the Voice Speed Dial button to Voice Command and the Messaging button back to whatever you had last (likely the Messaging applet).
I tested it with Contacts, Digit Dial, Media Player, and Appointments, all successfully! It does not recognize Contacts on the SIM card - only those in the database.
I had to change a registry entry, since pressing the button calls the original Voice Dial Tag applet.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand]
"Path"="\"\\Program Files\\Voice Command\\VoiceCmd.exe\""
Paste it as a .REG file and import it using Resco Explorer 2005.
But, bottom line: YES, IT ACTIVATES VOICE COMMAND OVER THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET.
hi buddy
this is good news, especially that it is possible to initiate the call from headset (and i guess it will work on my parrot ck3100 too then!). can't wait to have one - don't make me jealouse ;-)
cheers, lutz
Good job BTT!
Good Job!
I just applied the change and note the following of interest:
1. If you use voice-command to launch an application the audio remains redirected to the headset until you hit the button again.
2. (And this applies with the built-in package as well) If the device is in standby you get a pause, then static. No prompts occur and no voice commands are accepted.

I have the same issue with all headsets that I've tried: Blusepoon AX, GG Telecom, Moto H500. People are reporting no issues with Sony Ericsson and JAbra
I am getting a similar problem on my Blutrek G2.
BT Voice Dial works once, first time I turn on my Blutooth headset. Here's my sequence:
1. I turn the G2 on and it locates the KJam.
2. I press the G2 button once, it opens the audio channel and I get the VC prompt.
3. I say the VC command and it peforms the request.
... but after that, I cannot get an audio channel to open up again...?
I have tried turning the G2 off and then on again, but still no audio when I press the G2 button. The only way I can get it to open an audio channel again is to soft re set the KJAM.
Any ideas on how to solve this one...?
Regards
Chris
Didn't we already discuss this?

I am having the same exact problem that cbrow51 is having except I am using a HS850 headset.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Best Voice dial software ?

Hi Guys, i know hat this forum has alot of different voice command software scattered all over the place.
I just wondered what people thought was the best one for the xda exec (using bluetooth headset) to activate.
I have tried MS voice Command, which is very accurate but does not switch off the BT connection once it closes it's voice rec system. This means that all system audio is then send to your headset until you manually switch it off with the button.
I like the Cyberon voice dial app supplied but having to create voice tags for everything is a pain
I cannot get Cyberon Voice Commander 1.5 to install correctly and the version on xda-dev's ftp site is chinese
I want to know what people think of Fonix apps, Voice Dial 2.0 seems okay but is limited to only dialing, no full control so would like to try fonix voice central 3.0 buit cannot find anywhere to download this.
what do you guys think.....which do you use (if any) and which do you think is best ?

MS Voice Command & Car

Hi all,
Got a question regarding MS Voice Command and my Parrot CK3000. I have got everything installed okay, and it all works... i.e. when i press the dial button on the ck3000, ms voice cmd starts and listens to my every command.
The problem is that i don't think ms voice cmd likes all the cars background noises.
Is there any reg hacks or any suggestions to make it better at recognising what i am asking when moving at 70mph??
Cheers all!
So no one has any recommendations for this then?
is there any other apps out there that works like ms voice command? Maybe it is just ms voice being rubbish.

Voice Command over bluetooth no activation on LOCK

Voice Command Over Bluetooth
jay_jay,
Have you edited the registry correctly for voice command? If not then get a registry editor (I recommend downloading the trial version of spb pocket plus to your mda). Next you'll want to follow these directions exactly. When you do modify the registry for voice command make sure that you've done everything the same as what you see here (don't install the quotation marks). Next, have fun with your soon to be working voice command over bluetooth.
Here you go:
First:
goto "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path". Change the default value from "\Windows\SDDialer.exe" to "\Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe".
Now you should be able to activate Micrsoft Voice Command by pressing the connect button on your bluetooth headset. My Scala headset beeps twice when it's ready for the Voice Command. My husbands Motorola headset beeps once when it's ready for the Voice Command.
Then you can also enable your bluetooth headset to receive music and other sound from your MDA by running the tweak "Enable Bluetooth Receive" using the Registry Wizard Program.
yeah i've already done that.. voice command works but only when my 8125 isn't locked.. then when it automatically locks the phone when i try to activate voice command via bluetooth i hear it open the audio gateway but voice command doesn't activate.

Voice Command 1.6 has fixed the bug in the password protected setting, and it will allow you to use Voice Command while the device is locked. Uncheck "password protected" in the control panel applet.
