You could try vito navigator. It saves to a log but you will then have to use a utility like GPSbabel to convert from one format to another.
You could also do it with GPSGate from franson.
Re: GPS tracking
Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm checking these software packages out right now. Cgrillo, I've tried to sign up on whereismygps.net , but never recieved an email after I registered.

Sorry, I didn't explain it fully.
The grillo.biz site is mine, but the whereismygps.net site is someone else's site - but they both use my software for the PDA.

Garmin Que tracks logs. It comes with the Garmin GPS 10.

Hi there can anyone please tell me where I can get a good messenger that's got yahoo in or the lot in it eg yahoo aol msn ect ect allso what's a good download site could I have some links plz I've a mda prom with windows 5.0 the downloads must be free allso the messenger must be free if u can help it would be so great thanx mono33
Wow. Virtually no punctuation....
OK...
If you had searched the forums first you may not have needed to post. Agile Messenger is a good replacement that lets you use Yahoo, AIM as well as MSN.
What kind of downloads are you referring to? Free software? Legitimate software? There are several sites you can use, search for them in Google (ie "freeware pocket pc"). If you mean commercial software, then you can get free (often time-limited) trials at places like www.handango.com and www.pocketgear.com .
Cheers

where do i get
hi there thanx for your help but you never said where I can get hold of agile messenger from and is it free and yes I'm looking for any software that is free for my mda pro with windows 5.0 I can't seem to find them or when I do and download them it says on my mda pro this is not a pocket pc app so it will not run or work on here any help plz thanx mono33
Hi mono,
when Anton reacted to your mail he nicely pointed out that your way of writing is not nice. Please use dots (.) comma's (,) etc. etc. ([email protected]#$%^) whereever needed. Also use Enter. In this way You can have your mail looking better to read.
Do NOT check Submit immediately. First check Preview, so You can see if it worked like You wanted. If You see a good result, then use Submit.
I, for one, do not like to answer persons who repeatedly write in such way as You do here.
regards,
Ruud

You could just have searched Google for "Agile Messenger" and for free software, as I suggested originally.
http://www.freewareppc.com/ - first result on "freeware pocket pc" in Google
http://www.agilemobile.com/ - first result (and 2nd and 3rd) when on "agile messenger" in Google
I would suggest you need to read your manuals as they explain to you how to install a program you download from the internet. There are two methods: via the PC and Activesync, or by directly installing the .cab files that contain the programs.

Hey. I've been searching for a good NTTP newsreader for my t-mobile mda, and I've only found crap programs. the closest i came was some software that began qith a "Q," but setting it up just to read one newsgroup was near impossible. has anyone found a quality app? Thanks.
If you use Newsgator online, there is a new mobile version that will sync all of your PC's Newsgator Online feeds with your device.
If not, try the brand new offering by Spb called Spb Insight. Let's you read feeds online and offline. And if the feed is just a headline - it also downloads the link the feed refers to so that you can still read it offline.
Finally there is Newsbreak by Resco, which is a nice reader, but the feeds are limited.
Also, if you already use Qmail or just want a great mailer client, give a try to the free Qmail - it also has excellent NNTP newsreading capabilities. Please see http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=557&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 for more info.
J-Mac: I don't think he was talking about RSS feeds, but Usenet Newsgroups.
I too tried Quesnetsoft and found it hard to use
thanks for the suggestions.. i'll try qmail first. since it's free..

Nice idea; you'll love it, I'm sure. Also, don't forget to check out the Mailer Bible if you want to use it as a mailer client too.
Hi All,
Has anyone come across a freeware/paid mobile locate software for our Diamond or any pocket PC device.
I would like the app to be something like the online version of Mobile Locate
There's an app called WIMP (Where Is My Phone) which uses GPS to trace your phone. I think you send it a text message. You can also program it so that it sends you a text if the sim is replaced with the new number and the phone's GPS co-ordinates.

I'm actually looking for an app to track friends, girlfriend or wife rather then worrying about my devices security. Not that I don't care about my phone!...I luv it and it has everything I need in a day-to-day life including security systems if lost/stolen.
google maps with lattitude
You gotta pay for WIMP, Remote Tracker does same thing but is for free.

Yes I agree with the earlier post. Google Latitude is just the ticket for you. It works really well.
Well, my application might be better and the first too! Check out my signature..
Wow, they all look great but I'm keen to try out Google Latitude.

I just installed the facebook app... Although it looks quite nice, it seems to have a major problem with the comments: For example, if several people comment on my (or a friend's) status update, only the uppermost comment is shown. You do not even know that other comments exist!
Since FB is a social networking tool, and the comments (and the "likes" for that matter, which also seem not be supported) are a fundamental way to communicate within it, the app will be of no use unless these issues are addressed. I do not know whether there is a newer version of FB for mobile available soon, but this one unfortunately is of no use to me...

I upload from my TD2 by email - see http://www.facebook.com/mobile/?ref=pf. Just click on 'send my upload email to me now' and you will be given a dedicated email address.
To send photos, tap the envelope icon in the TD2 album and enter the email address. Whatever you put in the subject line of the email then appears as the photo caption.
Use ShoZu for uploading, gives you a popup immediatly when you've snapped a photo, "upload to facebook?".
Use FB integration for other FB-use. (search forum: "Facebook integration, what is it and how to get it back")
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help with copilot. I have addresses saved for most of my contacts. I can click on each contact and then view the address on Google maps (a nice feature) and get directions if I wish. what I want to able to do is use that address to open copilot and get it automatically plot a route to it. does anyone know if this is possible? would be awesome if this could work
