prophet can't find t-mobile GSM network anymore - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

I have a strange problem:
After beeing abroad in France, my prophet does not find or connect to the german T-mobile GSM network anymore.
Other networks are working and my T-mobile SIM card works with other mobile phones.
Factory resetting and updating to a newer ROM / radio ROM didn't change anything.
In France, I used the 'Orange F' network, is it possible that they somehow locked the phone to their net?
Does anyone have an idea?
Thank you!
Joachim

Really need some help here..XDA1 network detection problem.

I've got a big problem as my XDA failed to detect GSM900 home network in Malaysia after upgraded my XDA1 to
rom 4.01.16
date 02/04/04
radio version 6.25.02
Protocol version : 324e4
The line just keep searching and i have no idea how should i deal with it....
Please help.......
from malaysia
I think you might have used T-mobile (USA) GSM 900/1900 phone (PW10B1) radio stack (radio version 6.25.02 ) to upgrade your GSM 900/1800 version phone (PW10A1). If so, you won't get signal! you have a dead phone, only PocketPC!
Phone is not dead! try this..
I got same problem here, the solution is simple
try to get into bootloader of your XDA , (search on xda-developers how to do it) and change band to your using bootloader
after this DONT touch the band selection tool in phone settings
More help on priv if u need.
If your device is PW10A type (rear sticker), carefully try the RSU 3.25.01 from Carrier Devices then select the right band from the GSM menu in the boot loader.

My T.Mobile Show's Its Unlocked But It Dosen't Work. Help
Hi I Have A T.Mobile Xda With
Rom version: 3.17.13 ENG
Rom Date: 05/15/03
Raido Version: 6.18.00
Protocol version: 324e4
Its got a xda developers bootloader image,
I Think Its A Special Edition ROM,
But Its Not Taking A Hutch sim It Show's No Signal When I on The Phone,
But Its Working Fine With A Skycell Sim.
I Tried Unlocking It But It Show's The Phone Is Already Unlocked.
What Do I Do Please Help.
Thank's In Advance.
Don't know much about your gsm networks, but your device is for 900/1900 MHz networks.
Be sure, your Hutch network uses 900/1900 and not 900/1800....
You told us, that your skycell sim is working. That means, that your device is already unlocked.
Another possibility is that there is a problem with the sim card. There have been a few postings, that some users have problem with their sim card. They used a new one of their provider and they get it working....
