I am doing a serial communication through GSM modem.
I am using lineGetID to get the COMM handler.
At receiving phone the COMM handler is secured succesfully.
But, at the sender part lineGetID return LINEERR_INVALCALLHANDLE after the event LINECALLSTATE_CONNECTED was triggered, even though the VARSTRING variable was NOT NULL. I am using 'comm/datamodem' class for lineGetID.
I am using different SP for both SIM. Was the error due to the TSPI. How could it be eliminated?

Sitting here with my 64mB XDA trying to unlock it.
Manipulator seems not to work. If I use it I get error in all fields.
Going into bootloader and using Hyperterminal I can get communication OK .... see the following...

Not sure what the problem is. Try running The Manipulator and see if it unlocks it.

I have tried the Manipulator several times.
The phone goes from Walalby to GSM sucess OK.
The phone 'clicks' a couple of times.
The Manipulator screen shows:
Status : Reading data from phone
SID ERROR
GID ERROR
No IMEI
timer <non-zero>
and thats it - nothing more can be done.
I have tried the software on three different computers and the same result.
Running ROM 3.14.13 ENG
Radio 4.20
Protocol version 32S54
Phone is only a few weeks old and is 64Mb version.
Everything else works fine on it. IMEI number shows on device information. Radio turns on and asks for SIM unlock code OK.
Running Tom Tom Nav2, Fonix etc on it and all 100%.
If I use Hyperterminal then you get the results as above. If you type ? rather than dualser then the list of commands comes back as it should do.
Really Wierd.
Any thoughts as to what I can try next???

Could it be to do with Radio 4.20???
Has anyone unlocked an XDA yet with this version of Radio??? Could they have altered the access to the SID in some way with this release??

Soory to be a pain here but has anyone ANY ideas as to what to do from here???
(If I use an O2 card then the phone is fine so its not a hardware fault).

I have problem to answer on incomming DATA CALL throw calling RIL_answer routine.
There is no problem to establish outgoing DATA CALL and get serial port handle throw RIL.
But when I've tried to call RIL_Answer to answer on incoming DATA CALL, then I received RIL-notification RIL_NOTIFY_CALLSTATECHANGED and other-side modem received string "BUSY".
How can I answer to DATA CALL on communicators throw RIL routines?

I use TAPI lineDrop routine call to drop the call in DATA mode:
- rc = lineDrop(hcall, NULL, 0);
lineDrop returns a positive value and I call lineDeallocateCall to deallocate handle:
- rc = lineDeallocateCall(hcall);
lineDrop returns LINEERR_INVALCALLSTATE and it seems that call is not in the idle state.
And after that my TAPI message handler doesn't receive any disconnect messages.
TAPI message handler receive disconnect message only after other side droped the line.
This problem appeares only on smartphone devices (Qtek 8300 and 8500).
On PDA (HP 6515, Qtek s100, MIO A-70x) these routines calls work without any problems.
What is specific in TAPI lineDrop and lineDeallocateCall calls on smartphone devices?
1). Imei of device is difference when i check by *#06#... Why?
2). Sometimes i got "NO GSM" but sometimes i got "GSM" on tri-color... Better solution plz..

Your imei would be different if you have had the device repaired and main board replaced. I had mine done. If you have had the device since new and no repair then that would be strange indeed.
Not sure what you mean about the No GSM but having it on tricolour (bootloader) ??
yeah,someone can change the imei sn to all the numbers he wants via some software now.But, stickly speaking,all mobile phones are assigned a unique 15 digit IMEI code upon production. Below you can check all known information regarding manufacturer, model type, and country of approval of a handset.
Tip! The IMEI can be displayed on most mobile handsets by dialling *#06#. Otherwise check the compliance plate under the battery.

yes... bootloader (tricolor).... i got gsm/radio appear on bootloader but not when i use the phone... i'll check system... my imei changed, radio disable although signal still available... but i can get call through also sms... how?
My SX66 is running WM6.1 ROM from sun_dream.
Every are smooth except one problem:
When I set the Caller ID service to "no one", I can not make any call.
I do not know why. I test my SIM with another phone, calling works normally. So I guess the problem is on the ROM.
I did search the forum but did not find a clue.
Any suggestion/solution are really appreciated.

it is possible that the network setting for caller id varys from country to country but for germany for instance the code is 31.
for getting the status dial *#31#
for temporary sending of your callerid dial *31#
to disable callerif dial #31#
and to get the status of incoming id dial *#30#
either that works for you or you look up the codes for your country and/or carrier and try them, that way, you can tell whether really the setting is broken in the rom or just not compatible to your network and adjust it.

My network uses code #31#, and I tried it but could not make the call. The same with setting "No one"
I guest that the problem is with the ROM.
have you tried upgrading your radio rom? the newest one is 1.15.00 and maybe that will do the trick. or you sim unlock your device, or you try another sim card in your device. you know, the possibilities for what went wrong are pretty limitted, but i actually would blame the rom last, since that really hardly affects the calling.
