VPN via GPRS woes..

I'm trying to establish a VPN (PPTP) connection to my office via GPRS, without any success. When I click to activate the VPN connection, a GPRS connection is established, then it tries to connect to the VPN address (203.xxx.xxx.xxx), after about 30 secs it comes up with the following message:
"VPN server problems. Verify your username and password, and try again. If the problem continues, turn the device off and try again."
I've turned the device off and tried again, to no avail.
I've also done a search on the forum and notice some users having similar problems but no solution has been posted yet. So this is a bump for all of us who are having this VPN probs.... BUMP!
Hi,
I am facing the same problem. Initially, I thought that my Telco was blocking VPN traffic. I have tried on two different telco network and none worked. Has anyone got VPN working before? If so how? FYI, I am trying to VPN into an MS ISA box running PPTP CHAP2. My VPN is working because user on landline dailup or broadband can get connection without problems.

XDAIIi VPN

:x I cannot seem to get the VPN side of things working.
Has anyone tried a VPN using WiFi ?
I can connect to a WiFi Access Point and browse the internet. I then try to establish a VPN connection to my network using the IP address of the VPN Server, get prompted for the user credentials, and the XDA tries to connect and just doesn't, no errors. The VPN Server is working, as I have tested the same settings using an HP Ipaq 5550.
Any suggestions ?
VPN Fault
O2 Data Support have confirmed that this is a bug.. Damn !

Pocket PC Error/Alert unable to obtain IP address

Do you have DHCP Enabled on the internet connection of your PC? Or do you have static IP address?
Nope, not sure why, i get this sometimes when i try to conenct to a wifi hotspot that has no encryption but static ip address of a weird range

[Q] VPN Bug ?

there is many post about VPN
it seems there is something wrong in VPN software.. Also PPTP or L2TP.
I use a MacOSX server with VPN server enabled.
I can connect without any problem with any laptop.
But ... with my 2.2 android (Motorola Defy)
L2TP don't find the server
PPTP disconnect immediatly after the IP (from VPN) is affected.
The is some post on the web suggesting there is an encryption problem.
does anyone see this problem ?
if yes what to do ?
Problem is same with wifi or 3G connection

PPTP VPN Connection

Trying to establish a PPTP VPN connection with my phone to my server running on my Syn 415+
The problem is that the connection from outside my own homenetwork is not working?!
When i do that inside my homenetwork there is no problem.
Strange is that a connection with L2TP/Ipsec works like a charm.
I read somewhere that it might be a bug in Android 4.4.4 that seems to be solved in 5.0-Lollipop
Couldt some one please try to make a PPTP connection and inform me if you have the same issue?
If you need more info, Please tell
