Yes, it is possible.
I did it successfully, installing the i-Mate ROM.
To do this, search through the forum.
The only minor caveat is that while rebooting the PDA the O2 Logo will be substituted with the i-Mate one, but again searching here will give you the possibility to download a .cab that will restore the O2 Logo.

You can install any language ROM on your device - just have a look at the Magician section of this forum and the FTP. What you want is the WWE version (worldwide english).
Be sure to backup your current ROM before changing anything, so in case something goes wrong you can always revert your device to its current state. Just browse the forum for SD backup and you will find instructions on how to do it.

I've read that's possible to change my Qtek 9100 ROM. I need to change it for a customer with Portugues language (don't know if exist original from Qtek I think yes but not care eheh).
Well in fact as I understood I just need to use the imei-check site to remove VendorID/RegionID and the flash it with desired ROM?
If somebody could give me some help i would appreciate it.
Confirmation about vendorID/region and wich ROM file should I use.

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade the ROM for O2 MINI XDA S.
I have downloaded the ftp file from ftp. Presently i have German OS installed in my XDA. I want to chage it to English.
Pleasse tell me the procedure of how to upgrade the ROM. I tried to search in wiki, but it is still not available.

i want to uprgade my "O2 XDA Orbit with WM6" to a German WM6 Version without any O2
Greetings, first iam german^^ so i read the threads around but i dont understand really who i can do it?
So what i have is an O2 XDA Orbit, i make an update from german WM5 to german WM6 with the original rom from O2.
But the O2 preferences sucks and i want a XDA without anything from O2, exspeciely because i have an Vodafone Sim pluged in.

And what does it means with the CID Check?

Simply download the official German O2 WM6 ROM update and run that, hard reset after flashing, then when it says "Customising in 3 seconds" or the German equivalent, soft reset.
You will have a non o2'd WM6 ROM
Is there any German ROM available?-I put WM 6 in WWE on my German T-mobile compact III and it is working...but it would be god to have a german too.
1) Can someone download the Update from the Gemran- O2 site and upload it here? I can`t because you need a serial- number of a O2 device.
2) How to change the Language file in a WM6 operating system? is this possible?
My English is poor so maybe this theme is handled here in the Forum, but i didn´t found it.
