Is there any way to force my Dopod 900 to automatically drop the bluetooth connection to my HBH-662 headset after each call?
I have a second phone which I want to answer from the same headset when a call arrives from it. I had this setup working well between my Treo650, SE T610, & SE HBH-662. Just ditched my T610 for the Dopod but whenever the Dopod connects to the bluetooth headset the link stays until I turn off Bluetooth from either the Dopod or the headset.
Hi,
You can try with PocketZenPhone 6.0. BT of universal off, when a call arrives, PZP can turn bt on and activate btheadset on universal. So you use your headset normaly. At the end of the call, PZP turns universal's bt off. So, you can use your headset with another phone. I do that with univeral, Samsung SHG800 and Moto HS850 headset.

hi ppl
i use an austrian mda2 w/ ROM 1.6.00GER and ExtROM 1.60.07 together with a parrot ck3000 handsfree in my car.
i use the original bt stack w/o ANY changes.
making calls and taking calls is no problem at all and works most of the times.
the problem is as follows: when i enter the car, bt turned on, and also profile says "BT Headset ist eingeschaltet (means bt headset is turned ON)", and the n i want to place a call, the call is not routed over the handsfree. explanation is simple: when i change back to "today" - bt is turned OFF !!!
so my conclusion: everytime bt is used for the first time after disconnetion from the handsfree, it just turns OFF when it should connect. after i turn bt on by hand again it works w/o any problem. ('till i come back to the car of course - and everything starts again)
this is very annoying....
so has anyone any hint what to do? i wouldn't really mind updating to an english rom - if i just knew that that does work.
thanks,

when i use this one

my device turn bluetooth on when i call even though i dont have a bluetooth headset maybe it'll help you
thanks rudegar
i know that stack by TOWA. unfortunately that does not work at all here
i'd love to use it, but w/ this stack my handsfree is reconized sometimes, sometimes i have to pair the devices every time i start my car, and i can NEVER place calls with the combination mda2 with networx bt manager installed.
maybe someone has the same experiences and can report them

Hello,
Apparenlty does the bluetooth carkit Nokia CK-7W supports all bluetooth phones that have BT Handsfree profile.
Does the qtek support this Bluetooth Handsfree profile or does it supports only the headset profile.
or are they the same BT profile?
Thanks
sorry....
You wonn't be able to use it....although you can pair it the profiles don't match.
I own a bluetooth Nokia CK-1W carkit (has the same problem) and it's been difficult to use with my Qtek.
But for now i can receive calls via carkit. Better then nothing at all (if you don't want to remove the carkit).
You must install the Pocket Bluetooth Tools http://www.angeltowns.com/town/bluetooth/
Install it and delete any paired device you have.
Pair up with the carkit and select HEADSET profile.
Then, when the phone rings, bluetooth turns on automaticaly and pairs up with the carkit, then you press the Nokia button and talk.
It works for receiving calls through loudspeaker only.
I've contacted the author of the Pocket Bluetooth Tools and he already knows this bug and should be fixed next release.
Thanks for your answers.
Apparently this new nokia carkit has the pretency to be universal.
If the BTtools can help older carkits, I suppose we can expect that we may make this new one work with the qtek.
Or you can try the Ericssion HCB-30. I have that installed and it works everytime. Now all I need to figure out is how to boost the antenna power of the XDA unit
he HCB 30 works fine. I'm testing now a techart carkit.
Does any one have tested this nokia carkit?
This could be a very good alternative for BT carkits.
I cannot get my MDAII to work with Jabra BT200.
I am using the Pocket BluetoothTools. Everything seems normal..the MDA bonds with the Jabra, but when I get an incoming call or switch to BT mode I hear nothing from the headset and all sound continues to come from the MDA's speaker.??
headset
You've probably found the answer by now but I had the same problem today and its because there is a separate headset option to the bluetooth on/off/discoverable. If the headsets not on, then there's no link
Hello, -
I've paired my MDA Vario with an 'allways' (Cardo Systems) BT headset. The pairing went fine, though the only profile offered was 'handsfree'. The headset icon appears on the dialpad screen, and when I place a call I can switch to the BT HS.
But when a call comes in, there is no way to get that call transfered to the BT HS. It does not pickup when I push the connect button on the HS. Even the 'incoming call' panel displays that a HS is connected, I did not find a way to accept any incoming with the HS.
Any suggestions? Or do I just need to by a better HS?
I'm running standard MDA Vario (T-Mobile) ROM & extension, - no mods to the BT stack or anything ...
Thanks
OK I just bought the most expensive bluetooh headset man can find the Jabra JX-10 hoping that I will not have the same problems I have had with all other plantronics and other head sets.
The headset paired and (I guess its connected, there is no indication on the screen)
Here is the problem:
When I make a call, I see the headset logo on the dialer screen. The voice however comes from the phone, not the headset. Then I have to I push the CALL button on the headset to TRANSFER the call. (If my timing is not perfect and I push the button "before" the call is actually CONNECTED and there is someone talking, the phone will simply HANG UP.
Can the phone just send the calls to the headset at all times (unless I am in my car that has bluetooth?)
THANKS FOR ALL THE POSTS!!
I uninstalled touchflo and un-paired and re-paired the headset and it is working properly now.
