Ashby,
Can you let me know what you did... I just unlocked my XDA II
(Just need some basic GPRS/MMS settings)
Thanks,
Kyri
I can only help with gprs internet connection. I haven't worked out how to configure mms yet
Add a new connection and use the following settings
Enter a name for the connection:
orangeinternet
Select a modem
Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access point name
orangeinternet
Leave username / password /domain blank. Do not configure anything in advanced
If I can be of any more assistance let me know

Problems Sending an MMS using O2 XDA ll mini

I am with the optus network and I cannot send MMSs off my O2 XDA ll mini. i can send MMSs off the same sim card using other phones but when I use my XDA the following message appears:
Cannot Connect
Unable to connect: You have no modem entries created, and no network card present.
If I dont need a Network Card or Modem for other phones to send an MMS why do I need either for this phone? There is a 'settings' option underneath this message but i do not know what I am doing when i select it. How do I send a basic MMS of my XDA?
MMS uses GPRS to send, so you need to configure your handset for GPRS then input your MMS settings for the Operator you are with,

the settings are slightly different, follow the prompts... b digital is optus btw

o2 settings for Sentar ST860U Edge Data card

Hi there,
apologies, I can't find a link to post a new thread. I am looking for the o2 Ireland settings for Sentar ST860U Edge Data card. I just got it in from Hong Kong today and I can't work out how to connect with it. I just want to develop a simple application to connect to the modem and send /receive sms text messages and store the messages on a remote internet server. The modem connects through the USB port and it can send and receive sms text messages and make and receive calls and connect to the Internet but I can't get it to do anything.
In settings there is the following fields:-
username, password, tel, apn
I looked up hundreds of pages on the internet but none of the advice offered works. this one gave information on GPRS APN for all mobile numbers
http://franson.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6669
but it still didn't work for my contract phone when I put in APN: open.internet , username: gprs, password: gprs. I tried *99## for tel and I tried it without. But no luck.
Does anyone here know?

o2 settings

Hi
i have been searching the internet for wap and mms settings so i can use the x1 to browse the internet like i did on my iphone i managed to find the usual apn, username and password settings and entered them into the connections menu in the x1 but the domain setting was missing i still tried to connect with no luck. i called o2 this morning for the settings they said i had to click a get o2 settings app in the programs folder which i did and instantly got a text saying unavaible contact o2.
does anyone here have the correct settings and maybe a step by step??
Also it is a vodafone x1 with my contract o2 sim with unlimited interent on it.
Thanks
i have a simfree x1 uk with a o2 uk sim. when i put the sim in the phone it did all the settings, the only prob i got is mms pics are too small. i know there is a fix but have not bothered to do it yet
