My Magician (Orange SPV M500) does not recognise 1 GB cards (no problem with my BA M2000)
Now its also asking to format 256 & 512MB cards, THEN not recongising them!
Any suggestions appreciated?

I use the program Storage Tools, but did not detect the card.....
The Rom i use is Schap's 4.31

I'm using also using a 2Gb microSD card without any issues. Try reformatting your card and check again. It could be a compatibility issue. Do other brands work fine?
check first with a smaller capacity microsd
to ensure slot is working fine
then if its working try to reformat your card if not you probably have a damaged card reader on ur hermes
btw im using 8GB Sandisk microsdhc with official att wm 6.0

as i know wallaby wont read sdhc card.
I have bought new 1GB MMC card and insert to my magician. But the magician not detect any storage card...
Is it the card incompatible? 1GB Kingston MMC Dual-Voltage.

you have buy a cars with 1.1 Standard. The new Cards have 2.0 Standard. ;-)
