so I installed ppod and I noticed that the program launches fine but the music timing get stucked at 0:00:00 for every song and won't play...
I know it's a quiet old version and they no longer supports it, but it will be cool if it can run on the univerasl.....
if anyone has any idea or suggestion on how to make it work, that will be graetly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hopefully someone can help me please. When I receive a phonecall, the phone no longer rings. If I put it to vibrate, that works OK. I have gone into the phone settings and played the ringtone so that's OK and the MP3 player functionallity is also working OK. When on a call everything is perfect. Even if I have the earpiece in, it still won't ring but again the earpiece is perfect while on a call. It would appear that something software wise has become screwed but I don't want to have to do a Hard Reset
I also use my PDA for Destinator v6 for GPS and mapping. It happily gives me my vocal directions.
I should also say that this has only just started happening in the last week or two. I did have to re-install my Destinator because it lost it's voice.
Can anyone help - PLEASE

Did you install a new rom? Hapened yesterday to me when I installed T-Mobile rom on my SPV M500
No. I running the same one for the past 6 months. Anyone else got any idea please/
Cormac
Hey Raven2000
Have you fixed the problem yet?
Cormac
I had a similar problem yesterday as well. I couldn't play any of my ringtones other than the windows default. (Try to see if the windows default ringtone works). My problem as far as I was concerned started after I installed xPad 2.1. Even after I deleted the program it would not work. I finally resorted to restoring from a backup which sorted it out. (I must start to schedule using xbackup on a weekly basis) Hope this helps.
I've had this exact same problem with my Magician - I bought mine as a T-Mobile MDA Compact, and am now running the BigStorage ROM. I have tested this in the past - running it as a "clean" system (no other apps at all installed, factory-shipped ROM) and it seems to work fine - but when you start installing software, the ringing function on the phone seems to stop working - and the only ringtone that still works is the annoyingly crappy "Windows Default" piano-tune ringtone. If anyone manages to work out why this is happening and a way to fix it, I would be most grateful! I am still working on a solution myself.
I'm now running ver 1.12 from iMate's website and have the ringing back again. I am tentitive about loading up too many programs so keeping it to a minimum for the moment.
As a matter of interest, did you ever load up an alarm clock program? I have re-installed most of what I had previously so I am wondering about this since it would be one of the only ones which would mess with the sound

Correction to my previous post. After installing one program at a time, I found it wasn't xPad but another program called iMusic.
Have You installed a media player?
this happened once to me when installed a media player that got associated with the WAV and MP3 extensions so the default internal player stopped working.
Hope this helps.
As soon as I removed file association for the new program my JAM started ringing again!
So did you have to edit the registry or was there some other way to remove the erronious association ?
Cormac
MP3 File Association
That happened to me too. Are you using MP3 patch so you can use MP3 as a ringtone? If so when you install a program that deals with MP3 it might change MP3 association to that program. Try re-setting MP3 association to File Manager and problem is solved.
--PROBLEM SOLVED, SEE SECOND POST FOR CAB FILE--
I tried searching, I also tried many versions (notably the most recent), but nothing changed.
Anyway, here is my problem:
When I try to play a song directly from the "All Songs" menu, it will ALWAYS freeze, no matter the conditions. HOWEVER, when I go in the other menus (such as Artist, Album or other categories), it plays flawlessly.
I'm desperate as I'm stuck with WMP right now. Can anyone provide a fix/solution/CAB?
Thanks a lot in advance
Nico
lol
EDIT: Yes! Oui! Woohoo!
I got THIS version and it worked flawlessly. All the others did not work with my WM6 TyTN (with original ROM).
I also attached it if you also get this problem.
Did anyone get Pandora to work on the Titian? Please post the Cab.
Not sure if you still having a problem with this but, pandora works great on my mogul. You can get the cab file from their website...just click on the mobile link.
Here is the cab i have. I use Pandora every day (30 minute drive to work). Works awesome. Figured I would share for you and anyone else who stumbles upon this thread.
The audio quality isn't the greatest for me using Pandora..it's kindof a let down..
I've read that others are able to run Pandora. Well, I can't run it on my tp2 (the cab file was the PandoraVga+Ivan1 that's circulating here in xda). I keep getting a C++ debug error. I've removed and reinstalled the app, ran memmaid to clean out bad files/registry, but that didn't work. So I installed the same cab to my husband's tp2 and it ran without any problems and no error messages.
Can anyone help? I'm very close to doing a hard reset.
Thank you for your input,
Theresa
Pandora works now!!!
So the C++ error must be because of conflicts from other previous software installs. I did a backup restore to a few weeks back and reinstalled pandora. Works like a charm!
I attached the cab that works on the tp2.
Good to know my TP2 gets here this week and I've been eagerly awaiting using Pandora on the go. Thanks!
i actually just installed the SP version of Pandora and it seems to work jsut fine the only problem is that the keys are hard to press because they are too small
Song stops before end?
I just installed this on my TP2 with Sprint stock rom.
Works mostly, but the song stops before the end and then says connecting and starts a new song.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
Found my own answer!!
Do this for fully working pandora!!

My bad! It does not play full songs still!
Anyone know how to fix this issue???
probably have to do the advanced config 3.3 fix where you set the network packet size at 98xxx. Can't remember the value. The question presented was whether or not this would slow down the TP2's internet speeds. Give it a shot and report back!

I have not noticed a difference. All seems well
Does anyone think Pandora will release an official application on their website for us to use?

Well Pandora works on T-Mobile's network with the TP2, at least.
I've been trying to make the text for the menus bigger, but hadn't had any luck yet.
Installed, but where is it?
I've installed both cabs. However where is the shortcut or the program entry point?
Thanks!

Sadly no as WinMo is now dead thanks to WP7...
for this reason i switched over to slacker for my phone. there is a cab file, the buttons are big enough to press and the sound quality is way better than the hacked pandora one
Hi all and thank you for looking… was hoping to get some help with creating a Tasker profile. What I would like tasker to do is go to the player app of the song thats playing. So when I get into my car, bluetooth connects and whatever song/player that was used last starts playing again. I typically only use PlayerPro and Spotify. I tried to create a variable that checks if one of the com files was running but that didn't work. Im pretty much a beginner at this but understand a little about variables but not a programmer by any means. Either way can't seem to get it going. Can anyone out there help me out please?
Thanks in advance.
