This appears to be a free video search/downloader & player. It works well on my ameo, and is free.
Does anyone know if there's a catch somewhere? It's almost too good to be true.

How come that it works well on your Ameo? Most of cases you need to have flash player 8 at least. Did you install it somehow?

Does it? there's no mention of needing it on their site.
i've got fp7 and the flashvideo bundle installed, neither of which are listed as needed. All I did was install the cab of that site.

Thank you for bringing our attention to this program. It works wonderfully on my 8125. So far I have not had any problems and I'm not that great when it comes to computers. Guys, you all have really educated me. I'm on this site daily.

Can you post the cab? I've requested it twice from the website but i don't get the text message.

Just go to vtap.com and download it directly - that's what I did

yep just make sure your browser user agent isn't set as desktop...
try www.vtap.com/alldevices.html#5_ppc
or direct link to the cab.. http://vtap.com/pub/vTap_sp.cab for wm5/6 ppc

This was the only thing I installed yesterday and I did a soft reset in the evening and it would not accept my password. I'm just doing a hard reset now.
I use a simple 4 digit PIN and it has always worked before but I just got
'The password you have typed is incorrect'
it took a long time to take a password at all and was getting a countdown timer above the password entry keys on the screen which I don't remember seeing before as well.
I don't know if it was anything to do with this app - has anyone else had problems?

Because at the time you installed it you already had 7 items in your start menu. It is configured to put the shortcut in start menu, but your had maximum number already

I have re-installed vTap and love it - no problems since I installed again so don't think my problems were down to vTap.
It is a truly useful app!

Wifi and bluetooth on today screen.

I have seen a screenshot of the today screen with the wifi and bluetooth on it. How can i get it on mine?
Also is there a app like the iphones iano application avalible for windows mobile?

Have you try X-panel yet? I believe X1 have many "Today screen" instaed of default one. Some of X-panel have both Wi-Fi and bluetooth on sceen and you can do 1-click to enable/disable it

jagger2k do you have an X1? If you do you just need to enable the "Wireless" today plugin (which is done by default).

I have tried the xperia panel but i dont really like it. I much rather preper the windows today screen. And yes i do own an x1, how do i check to see if wireless is enabled?

Have you ticked Wireless???

maybe in your Xperia there is an entry wireless under today\items but it isn't there in most branded Xperia's so please stop repeating the obvious and let others help to find a solution.

My X1 is not branded. I don't have that by default under today options.
I wanted the option to one-click BT and Wifi so I installed PDAStatus.

But mine is branded. Also if you looked you would have seen a regedit solution listed on the previous page.

I did as instructed, but I don't like that Wireless Today optiopn.
PDAStatus is better for me, clicking the BT or Wifi icon will turn the clicked item on or off, not just take me to comm manager.

HTC Mail - Full view problem

Hi there,
Not sure what I did but when I tap on an email from the HTC Mail app, it does not bring the full view anymore.
I have to go through the inbox.
Any idea about what can cause this?

Try going to Start-Lock and then when you unlock the screen it should work ok.

I looked inside in the list of tips from "[REF] *Leo Hints & Tips*", but i may missed it. If it's not there yet, it should be nice to add it.

Can anone confirm that it works ok on the HD2? Because the forum says it has been developed for Kaiser but should run ok on WM 6/6.1 devices, I've been hesitating to try it on my HD2, with Artemis v27 ROM (with WM 6.5.5). Anyone tried that already?

i use makisu for email and wifi settings, which is sashimi's little brother (same website), and it works fine, You shouldnt have any problems. Lots of epople use sashimi all the time.

Phunkee, pretty sure he was referring to the search of the .cab itself as being the game.
