Is there a way to make your o2 exec internet explorer read Java or flash?

I don't know about Exec (Universal) in particular but I have seen some various options on http://www.adobe.com/products/#product-category-9

Hi there, newbie XDA user here. I wonder if anyone can possibly help me solve prolem. My O2 XDA Mini-s's version of Internet Explorer has forgotten what it's supposed to do with "AVI" and "Mpeg" files. It doesn't ask if I want to save them. Instead it just downloads page after page of ASCII characters. Does anyone know how to sort this issue? Can IE be re installed or "repaired" in some way? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I've been trying to use my BA's GPRS connection to connect my pc to the internet. After looking up in the wiki I figured that I need the Internet Sharing program which is not present in my installed ROM :Helmi WM5 AKU3.2
I wanted to know if there's any location I can download it from ?
I tried downloading the latest WM5 ROM from the wiki but to my bad luck, the thing I wanted wasn't provided in the EXTROM.
well...I really don't have the wits to install another ROM.

I'm pretty new to flashing phones and PDA's but i'm quite experienced with a PC so shouldnt need to much help!
I was wondering what steps I should ensure to take to make sure that I dont turn it into a brick, I could do with a complete guide! I've also been told that i'll need to run the Artermus USPL program after connecting the phone. But any help and advice would be a great help. Is there anyway to backup the phone in the state it is at present if or if it doesnt go wrong?
