no mms after hard reset - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

anyone help? I have a t-mob mda compct II which is unlocked and currently on orange, had a problem with not being able to reset or dismiss any alarms so did a hard reset. Now i have no mms option, the configurator is there and i have set up for orange server but i get no option for mms when i select messaging?1
cheers mlc

Did you install all applications from Extended Rom? With Arcsoft MMS 2.5.x you need to install Intellidialer or Intellipad as well to get MMS working. Or you install Arcsoft MMS 2.0.x from an older ExtRom.

Can recieve but not send MMS on WM2003SE

I'm having problems with MMS Messages on WM2003SE on my XDAII
I've configured the GPRS Settings and MMS server settings as described in the attached text file but I still cant send MMS Messages although I can recieve them I don't know why.
Im using ROM Version 2.06.00WWE
Radio version 1.18
ArcSoft MMS Composer version 2.0.0.13
Did you get this working
I've got exactly the same problem but on Orange. I followed the Orange instructions and double checked but to no avail. Did you manage to get this working,
Thanks,
Simon
RE
The latest version of MMS (as posted) with WM2003se indeed do have some compatibility issue with some Telcos.
In my case the latest version does not work either.
Although I do not have an integrated MMS but I'm able to send/receive MMS using my earlier version (v1.6.0.8) of MMS which comes with WM2003.
Here:-
Fixed
Hi,
Thanks for the response. I managed to get it fixed in the meantime, send/receive MMS, internet via GPRS, etc. The Orange settings guide on one of the other threads didn't work fully however someone had upload a cab file containing the Orange settings in another, which set them up in a different way (as recommended for M2000 by Orange - I use a Qtek 2020i). I've attached it again for others however I'm afraid it won't help on 02.
Thanks,
Simon

K-JAM MMS Configuration

I have posted this over at MoDaCo but i thought i would give it a go here as well.
I stupidly installed MS Global Contact Access (GCA) for PPC on my K-JAM to see if it would work (which it did) but it has caused other problems so i had to uninstall it. This is probably due to MS still not releasing a WM5 compatible version of GCA.
Now, when i open the messaging app and select "MMS Configuration" from the menu instead of the MMS Configuration screen it opens a New Meeting request.
Would anyone know how i can get my MMS config back without a hard reset? Is the setup for MMS in one of the cabs in the extended ROM or is it built into the main System ROM
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris
You can download a cab file from club imate for mms, sms settings.
If you know how to access your Ext ROM, you can have a look there and 'guess' the CAB that is resposible for the MMS settings. It should fix the problem.

MMS Help

I hard reset my Wizard (Mini S - XDA)
BUT: THere is no MMS in my mailbox...
I can see the seetings, but there is no inbox, can someone help...
Perhaps there is a CAB File I need thanks
Max
What ROM version are you running? I had several different ROMs installed on my T-MO MDA, even the O2 version - all of them had the MMS Inbox without even installing the extended ROM.
Not sure...
Not sure....
I managed to get MMS working, with a CAB, but now I get the error, ELATEPUSHSERVICE.exe not signed.
I need the 02 MMS CAB I think.

MMS Issue

When I first got my XDA IIi, it worked fine with MMS and GPRS. I had to do a hard-reset because of a charging problem (as instructed by O2 staff) and now, MMS doesnt appear in my messaging accounts and MMS Composer has disappeared from the programs menu. I managed to get my GPRS working again, but MMS doesnt like me still. Cheers,
J Smart
it should be installed from the extented rom at startup
i would unhide and unlock the extented rom and run the cab file myself to get it back
