For those like me who have been frustrated that with mobile WMP you cannot edit/make new playlists (asx format) I found this.
This is a freeware playlist manager from Vicott Wong see here http://mobile-sg.com/ppc/apps/?p=PlaylistMgr

This software is really neat
Windows Media Playlist Program
I am so greatful, I was looking for something like this for a long time. With the amount of changing of Roms it is good to know I will not have to manually configure my WM playlists. By the way the only reason I am sticking with WM is the Voice command compatability with only Windows Media Player. Thanks again.
You can't make a playlist on WMP on your PC, and transfer it onto the Wizard?
I thought you could, but whatever haha. I use shuffle most the time

With all the apps and software utilities for different versions of WM, it's a bit much to navigate. I've looked far and wide for the following but haven't found anything yet. So...
Is there an app that shows sub-folders in the start menu like in WinXP (http://www.coolnerds.com/XP/StartMenu/xpStartMenu02.gif)? I organize my Program links and would like quicker access to sub-folders.
Casemon,
You can do this by going to the \windows\Start Menu\Programs\ folder and creating folders and moving the shortcuts that live here into them.
When I do it, I use activesync and go to Mobile device, and go to the windows folder there and do it. Its much easier to cut and paste the icons where you want them doing it from your Computer.
Casemon, if you want to replace the startmenu with a cascasing menu, like in your link, check out SmallMenu

VJ, SmallMenu worked a treat and cheap too! Thanks!
I know a lot of work was done with PHM Traylaunch. But has anyone extracted PHM WMP COntrol out of PHM Plus!? It looks like a useful today plugin.
Are there any alternatives you recommend?

You can use SPB ToPlay instead: it's FREE and it's standalone so you don't have to install SPB PocketPlus.
Info:
Spb ToPlay plug-in was designed to provide you with an easy way to start listening to the music from your Media Library right from Today screen. Spb ToPlay supports only Windows Media Player 10 and does not support the previous versions of Windows Media Player.

very nice... thanks for that
Novice here, just wanted to ask - How do I delete it?
I know, I know - yes I am that much of a n00b.
Yesterday I installed PocketTunes on my Vox which works great btw.
However for some reason I happened to associate .wma to it....
Today I used Resco Explorer to re-associate wma with media player instead but I can't get the icon back. It's the one in the middle (see screenshot) "Danger Zone", it should have the same icon as the "incoming transmission" one.

Now all wma's in my music folders have that boring icon, maybe it seems like a small/silly issue but for me it's annoying.
Yes, I have restarted my device twice without any luck.
wma now opens with wmp by default but how can I get the normal icons back?
I have htc mogul 6800 from sprint and would like to delete bubblebreaker.exe from windows folder so I or my family members can't access it again. It kills our lots of time.
I tried from tom's blog but it does not help.
Thanks.
in notepad on pc create a dummy file called bubblebreaker.exe. Now rename bubblebreaker.exe file that already exists in windows directory to something else and place the file you created in windows directory. Delete the original file and you should be good to go.
Haven't tried this but i am pretty sure this will work. Let me know how it turns out.
An addiction to Bubble Breaker = New Thread???????

The purpose of this thread is that in the past, I've tried many versions and settings in order to get SRT subtitles on my Magician and failed, and now that I've discovered how to do it on the Diamond, i also tried the Magician but didn't work, until i find all the right files
So, I've packed it all up in one single cab that truly installs to \Storage Card and/or Program Files. Enjoy m8s \o/

1) download TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-SUBTITLES-iriki-repack01-wm2003.cab or from the bottom of this post.
2) after installing go to Options -> Video -> and choose GDI
