App for Sub-folder icons in start menu? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

With all the apps and software utilities for different versions of WM, it's a bit much to navigate. I've looked far and wide for the following but haven't found anything yet. So...
Is there an app that shows sub-folders in the start menu like in WinXP (http://www.coolnerds.com/XP/StartMenu/xpStartMenu02.gif)? I organize my Program links and would like quicker access to sub-folders.

Casemon,
You can do this by going to the \windows\Start Menu\Programs\ folder and creating folders and moving the shortcuts that live here into them.
When I do it, I use activesync and go to Mobile device, and go to the windows folder there and do it. Its much easier to cut and paste the icons where you want them doing it from your Computer.

Casemon, if you want to replace the startmenu with a cascasing menu, like in your link, check out SmallMenu

Adding an icon to "Programs"

Hi there,
Not quite sure how to go about this so might as well ask.
I have downloaded PocketPuTTY to my phone and I can run it by going into File Explorer and navigating to the file itself.
This obviously isn't ideal, so I would like to add it into the Programs menu along with the proper icon for the file.
Can anyone tell me how I can do this or alternatively, point me in the direction of a good good?
I've searched the forums but can't really see anything.
klick 2 seconds onto the exe-file, select copy, then go to your \windows\Start Menu\Programs directory and click into the white background for 2 seconds and use "paste shortcut" and remane it to the name you want....

File Explorer

Is there a better alternative to the bundled File Explorer with WM6. It seems like since WM2003, there is no improvement. Also, would like the option to access registry as well. Any free or developed in xda-developers like those of Resco.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread.
Total Commander for WM is free. It at least as good as Resco if not better.
One of my favorite options is the virtual 2 windows - you have a small button at the top that lets you switch between two open directories without splitting the already small screen in 2.
It also has LAN FTP and reg editor built in.
..and, with latest beta icons may be SMALLER AT LAST!
(also, there's toolbar, which you can configure).
and you may add fast access to folders AND registry branches.

Try to delete them from Program Files if u instaled on Internal Storage it doesn't work u must Hard reset your phone...
If the icons you wish to remove are from deleted programs you may try the following:
Search MyDevice->ApplicationData->HTC->ProgLauncher. There you find the icons as *.bmg-files, then you can delete them

Add a shortcut on my HOME SCREEN, for a certain file from my memory card?
As I have got Garmin Mobile on my memory card, but every time I want to run it, I need to go to File explorer > Garmin > GarminPPC ...
Just wondering if it's possible to add a shortcut for GarminPPC (aka QuePPC on device) to my home screen / quick links
Cheers
Explore folders, find and select program file and hold it, tap copy, now explore windows folder-startmenu- programs- edit- paste shortcut, done
Click to collapse

For setting icons on your folders you have to right click on folder and go to:
