hi, my phone's battery ran out yesterday night, cuz i went a club and had no place to charge it, my phone normally lasts from 9am - 1am.
but as soon as i got home, i plugged my phone in, and notice my SD card formatted itself! everything is gone! but the diskspace is still being used.
this is like the 10th time my card either curropts, unreadable, or formats.
did anyone find a way to fix this problem yet? it happens atleast twice a month. and it sucks, i lose all my data and notes.
im using the 2.17 t-mo rom on a 8125
and a 2gb OEM card
thanks

I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for so I apologize if this has already been posted.
So last night the phone was working fine. When I get up this morning it was off and would barely boot. I would see the boot screen for about 5 secs or so and then it would just shut off. I would occasionally get it to do the same thing after removing the battery for a while but that's it. It wouldn't even charge (no lights or anything when connecting to a charger). So now I just removed my miniSD card and now it's charging. What's up with that? I'm using an ATP ProMax 1gb card that I got from newegg after I got the phone. It was working fine for the most part and this is my first real issue.
The second issue I had with this card (though it's more of an annoyance than an issue) is that when hitting the power button to bring it out of sleep, Spb Pocket Plus wouldn't update the display of the card's free space. It would show the same as the internal memory free. I would have to eject the card and re-insert it for it to update. This wouldn't happen all the time, but enough to annoy the heck out of me.
Anyone ever have either of these issues?
Quick update: with the miniSD card ejected, the phone charged and booted up fine, though the date reads November 24, 2005. I put the miniSD back in that seems fine. My battery is only showing 6% so it must've died overnight, but why wouldn't it charge? I had it connected to my car charge (was out of town all day) and that charger has worked before without any problems. Very weird indeed.
TIA!
I have a kingston 1 gig and my card doesn't give me that problem with SPB pocket+. But it does eat up 9-12mb of ram when i plug it in which is extremely annoying. As to why your device didn't charge with the card.. i don't know, maybe because your battery was completely dead the charger needed to be plugged in for a bit for the device to recognize the charge
Not charging...
I don't know what's going on but I had the same issue this very week with the MiniSD card...
and it was working superbly.
Had an accidental battery drainage... for some reason now it won't even charge. Trying removing the storage card, the battery... everything.
I'm leaving it on the charger even if the lights do not indicate its charging

Hello everyone,
I've been having problems with my tmobile wing... (unlocked, with firmware came from t-mobile)
When I have no sim card inserted, the device boots up perfectly with 100% battery life.
However, with the sim card inserted, the wing keeps rebooting, and when it finally boots up, it complains about battery being low and shut down. I tried plugging it in while starting it up, and it shows 1% battery life. Removing the sim card brings the battery life back up to 100%
tried the same sim card in my nokia 5800 and no problems at all =\ so I wouldn't assume it to be a sim card problem....
That weird as crap there...but not unheard of. My Wizard did something similiar, and I found that hard reseting fixed my problem, that or just flashing a new ROM.
Its a 16gb Att and ive had it for about a year and few months. This started happening a while back but never this bad. I would feel the phone get really warm in my pocket. The heat comes from right under the Sim/SD card tray. CPU? So eventually i get so hot it gives me the invalid SIM/ no sim message and rebooting my phone fixed it. About a month ago i read here that it might be a corrupted or damaged SD card. And what do u know, i pull out the card and no more heat/ sim issues. I thought it was my card 64 GB Class 10 Sandisk. But no, every SD card i pop in that isnt empty starts this meltdown. So i had to replace the charger port so i swaped out that board, same issue. Replaced the SD/Sim card tray same issue. I put my finger on the piece the card tray sit on before i stuck on the new one (ribbon cable connected with SD card in slot) and almost burned my finger. I flipped on Dev options and checked off "show cpu ussage" and i see that everytime i pop an SD card in, my CPU usage goes NUTZ, like its low at idle then in shoots to 100% and stayes there for a little, then back down, then back to 100%.
Anyone know whats going on? Or how to fix this? Im out of warranty and the only way i can use my phone is to remove the SD card. And 16GB for me isnt enough.
My phone worked perfectly with no issue since I have had it. Did a factory reset, it got to the point where you pick a new language and I shut it back down. Pulled SD card and Sim card, went to turn it back on and no go.
It wont turn on. I plug it in to charge and nothing, no charging light. Kinda pissed..
Anyone have any ideas?
Hello!
Today my phone decided to have a mind on his own and do some strange things while I was sleeping.
At first, I noticed that the device decided to turn off and after a while, turn on. I realised that because when I got up I found the popup that reminds you to check the battery cover (it usually appears after turning on the phone). I entered the battery stats and the "timeline" of the battery shows that, apparently, the phone was off for a couple of hours (I'm attaching the screenshot).
After this, my SD card died. It's not recognised by the phone (it shows a message of sd card blank) nor my computer.
Did this happened to you before. Do you know a way to recover my info?
Thanks in advance!
