hey~~~ must be xda IIi~~~~~
the most powerful PPC phone~~~
XDAIIs having keyboard, usefull when you type a message with one hand.
Rom XDAIIi biger = 128Mb
XDAIIs = 64Mb
XDAIIi design like XDAII
which one's is your.
I prefer XDAIIs.
If you still can wait upto next few month.. wait for XDA IV..

it seems that the outlook of XDA IIi / s is better than IV....
I like the look of the XDA11s with it's nice black finish and pull out keyboard - but i was won over on the XDA11s specs, and i couldn't be happier using it as a wireless modem at the minute with my laptop typing this in the garden.

To Foxman: yes..the outlook of IIs is just cool.....but I am using II...and want to change eith IIi or IIs..if I buy a IIi...I can use the II battery.....but I like the ourlook of IIs..that's why I still think which one I should buy
I have XDAII and I still find IIi features better.
IIi is for power and IIs is for look.
But the most important still ROM support from this forum.
If there is a upgrade for IIi to WM2005, I will go for IIi now.
lolx if you see the video of bill gates about the WM2005 youll see that all the microsft staff are using himalaya XDA IV.. prety cool.. im jelous i wanna go find a job to microsft..
outlook?
outlook as in the program ?
outlook as in the style and look of the device
outlook as in the ability to be able to get ones hands on one of those devices ?
Hello,
I used to own an XDAIIs and now I have the XDAIIi. I beleive the XDAIIi is a better pocket pc/phone in all aspects. The XDAIIs is heavier, slower processor, and very easy to break because it has a sliding keyboard which tends to become loose also. The XDAIIi has it all better than the XDAIIs except if you want a keyboard.
Bohs
I started with a XDA then a XDA2 then i tried the 2s and had 4 of them all the same crappy bluetooth, i now have the 2i and find it works ok, plus i did have some spair batteries and stuf from the old XDA2 that that was good
also like Rutgar what do you mean by outlook is better in the 2s
JOhn
I think outlook means "appearance", or "the looks" if you read sunlight's posts.
XDAIIi
 i really wna know how much is the XDAIIi in the philippines and where can i get it.... hope they will allow monthly installment hehehehheheh
Dude XDA II mini here in pinas worth 38000 pesos and IIs is 48000 pesos expect 60000 for IIi and 100000 for IV..
Wow, that's how expensive XDA back at home? There were quite a bit in Ebay (UK) & the price were cheaper too but I'm not sure if they would ship it back there (Philippines).
Back to forum's question, I'll still go for XDA2i, mainly because of faster processing speed & in my opinion, almost all (not the keyboard from XDA2s of course) features of previous XDA's were in it. I haven't read about XDA4 but I hope it's as good as XDA2i.

Hi!
As owner of a Qtek 9090 i wonder if I should go for the 9000 now?
Reason I ask is I have been a bit disapointet with the 9090, mostly because of the bad hardware etc.
I know with the 9000 the only "new" stuff i get is 3G, better Camera, faster processor and Win 05.. and thats fine.
But is it worth buying? and is the hardware better? Will I bee disapointet as a 9090 owner or what?
Hope to hear you oppinions since its seems that people in here has the pretty much the same opinions as me..
Thank you!

lol i was thinking the same thing.(when i buy my next phone, i will buy the same one as faria)
Maybe a hint for the manufactures and microsoft if they are following this, people want to buy devices that will have support, updates and upgrades.
The main reason i did not buy a HP/Compaq pda anymore after my 2215 was the major lack off support for the device. HP offered 1 rom upgrade without major improvements. After that they offered a few patches that ate up precious memory and then completely abbandoned the device.
HTC isn't that good in terms of their support anyway, thats why you have this lovely site
hehe.. had 2210 also before ... then i had HP 4700, too big, then i went for loox 720, found out i need a phone , then to S100, now to qtek 9100, and looking for a new one..... IPHONE maybe??? 9600 (tytn) ???? god knows.... want a VGA max 3.2" screen phone
LOL i think everyone on here will get what ever faria getts for his new phone just so we can have better software then the company gives out!!!
I've had my Hermes for about 5 months now, and I do love it but it seems XDA Orbits (HTC Artemis) have come down in price so I'm tempted to sell the Hermes and get one of these instead.
Are they better than the Hermes? I know they don't have QWERTY, but they do have a GPS which is a handy gadget to have I guess. Do they offer anything else the Hermes doesn't have?
Any replies would be great!
hope this helps

battery is much worse than the one in hermes. actually as far as i am concerned they don't make such 'long life on batteries' PDA's anymore - and i say this when GPS is off because with GPS Artemis dies in a moment :] for me most important thing is 'how long my device can live without charging' that's why i don't have Kaiser for example
I've changed my mind, seems the Hermes is better Spec'd other than GPS and has the larger battery!
Maybe I'll wait until something else comes about! Thanks.
good to hear your sticking with the hermes
just wanted to say an external gps reciever with a hermes would run better than the orbit
(channels, battery etc)
so you made the right choice
I caved in and sold the Hermes in the end (£105), and I bought the Artemis (Orbit £120) off ebay.
I was just annoyed at the little scratch on the screen and couldn't be bothered to change the screen/digitizer. Just hoping the screen on my new phone isn't scratched or I'll be back in the same place again! Although I've seen Orbit screens for £18 so it's not too bad even if I do have to swap.
Anyway goodbye people, nice owning the Hermes but time to move on!
I like my Kaiser but its a brick as far as size/weight.
Can someone who has used both tell me how they compare as far as speed, functionality, etc.?
What's the consensus on whether the Nike is a good device.
So you think the Kaiser is a brick! You want to try the Universal, now thats a brick!!!!
I like my Niki. It's small so doesn't trash my trouser or shirt pockets and it's functional (although I do miss not having a keyboard). If you are looking for a compact device this is a good one to go for, having said that, I'd probably wait for the Diamond 2
I have had windows mobiles since they first came out, through the original SPV, XDA, Universal and Vario II and others.
I got my nike as an upgrade from my vario II and I would give my left nut to go back.
It's crap - avoid like the plague.
Cheers,
Smiffy.
