Hi guys I have a o2 Xda II mobile i did unlock it before which i was really happy, now i was trying to upgrade my Rom from the ftp ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Himalaya/ROM1.03/ file called: "XdaII_RUU10305ger_o2_de.rar" I have tried to install it then suddenly my device screen just went all black the only words on the screen is USB on top and the bottom says v1.06 .
I have tried to switch off and on took the battery off and on the message stills there dont know what to do i am desperate i think i have ****ed my phone.
Can anyone help please i really need help

I know, i am not the first one with this problem and i read many threads but i am not clearly understand the way (if there is a way) to fix my problem.
After updating my german xda Device i restarted and have been promped to enter my Pin, but the screen is frozen. So i did first a soft and after this a hard reset. Now after every hard reset i see the the O2-bubbles for some minutes and then the white screen with the blue bar on the top. Nothing is working.
I i wait for 10 or 20 Minuten the bubbles coming back - same game everytime.
I tried to enter the bootloader while holding the Power-Button while soft-resetting. BootLoader is seen, but shows a "gsm error".
I can not establish an active-sync-connection via USB-Cradle.
What can I do to rescue my XDA? Is there any possibility or can i put it to trash?
Any advice is very welcome!

I can't get the white screen with the blue bar on the top because I am using 02 xda ver 4.00.11 (PPC2003), so that I can't use the repair.zip to fix it.

after half a night i fixed my described problem with the gsm-error in the bootloader.
I will post my solution in a new thread today in the afternoon.

take a look there.
We first tried to fix it using 2003-SD-Flash but it become buggier, the pling-sound does not played, so we flashed back to PPC2002 and made it as described in the new thread!
Hope, you can flash CE with an PPC2002, maybe it helps, but I do not really know. Simply try or not!

Sorry to ask. I have been looking for other similar problems on this website in hope that I didn't have to ask the question however I recently bought a XDA II of ebay. Everything fine until I decided to download software of O2 site. PC screen come up with message saying error and then from then on my XDA II will not turn on and just has message on there saying 'Serial V1.03'. Tried a few points on this website but still the blank screen and now has 'USB V1.03'. I don't much about technical lingo so I have no idea where to find the information on ROM or bootloader??? Can someone please help???? Any help is appreciated[/b]
About one day ago, my friend tried to upgrade his wizard to wm6.
After flashing the device wont turo on! When he tried to power the wizard on, nothing hapens (NO LIGHT, NO SOUND, NOTHING.........)!
Please if someone know a way HOW to fix it, please HELP and HELP!!!

If that doesn't work, you probably have a new paperweight.

I have a O2 Xda mini. It had german ROM on it, in order to change the language to english i upgraded the ROM but it did not work, so i downgraded it. Due to this the phone failed to boot up. Now whenever i try to switch it on the screen just blinks and the phone does not start. I need help, please somebody help me!!!!
