is there a way someone could creat a .cab that would automatically change the page pool size for the T-mobile wing? because i tried to do it manually and bricked the mess out of my phone...It wouldnt even charge... if you could that would be awesome! From my understanding you can't change the pagepool by installing a CAB.
You need to make those changes to the ROM by flashing.
I might be wrong but from what I used to know about pagepool changing it doesn't work like you ant it to be.
zcink maybe can jump in on this topic as he always changes his pagepool.

I also was wondering if anybody had any great freeware that combined a bunch of programs into one. Im looking for a simple battery meter (im using LvmTopBat)
I need a program for AIM other than octro talk, I Also need one for threaded messaging. I was using Palm_threaded_SMS but it had some glitches on my phone. I was usuing Minimo but it seemed to freeze alot so does anybody know of any good tabbed browing web browsers? i also wanted a program to free up any unused memory on my phone. Is Oxios Memory anygood?
And if anybody has used UI Tweaker Could anyone explain to me what each selection so i know what im changing the color of. Thanks for any help i get.
Custom ROMs are usually a lot more stable and perform much better in different aspects. There are programs for almost anything, you just need to search for them

if you install the latest DCD rom 3.2.5 and radio 3.42.50... you will have threaded SMS. It also allows you to use the internal GPS. Go to the upgrades forum... and READ! The WIKI on how to is in my signature as well as links to the latest rom and radio. Good luck!

the wki how to link does not seem to work and i read a bit about this new rom and multiple people have said its slower than stock. also what is rev-a. does that have something to do with free tethering? sorry if this is a stupid question. Im just really new to all this.
also what is the differnce between the rom and the kitchen. I notice there are two downloads. if anybody has the time or can tell me how to do it real quick i would just like a step by step on how to install this rom. Do i need to do a hard reset?
The kitchen is used to cook the ROM. The ROM is what you install on the device. First install hardspl on the device and then run the ROM of your liking. After the flash, be sure to perform a hard reset.

This wiki... Titan Recent should explain it all. It is step by step. The only thing you may have to substitute... if it hasn't been updated is the correct files. IE... 3.42.50 radio... and 3.2.5 rom. The kitchen allows you to select different programs that DCD didn't include in the ROM. If you download the kitchen, you can leave it alone... run BuildNB.bat and just "Play" that... and it will work the same as the ROM that DCD made for everyone to use.

What rom version do you have? Which hotfixes are you trying to install? some of the hotfixes aren't needed with the latest stock rom.
noone of the hotfxes are working, and have the latest from the website.
is t a way to download a better rom verson also?
Well, with rom version 1.14 I've installed all hotfixes. Now, with 1.56 (the latest official) I didn't install any hotfix!
Do you have any issues which could be solved by one of the hotfixes?

Well, don't get me wrong, but try to use the search feature! There are a lot of rules on how to post in forums! Now think about someone searching for answers regarding the installation of hotfixes and one of the hits will be this thread where the discussion changes to uninstalling themes and which rom is best!

First i will say thanks to all the developers.....especially...to M-Amine..was the first rom i flash..to pdaviet (no polaris at this time)....and also a big big thanks to PCARVALHO.....best rom i try..
The ground i made a rom is...i don´t need and want the new m2d with flip clock and no call history....Inside my rom pack....is a folder with m2d version 1-3.......so you can decide what version of m2d you want....
The rom is a good mix of old and new apps... ( with opera 10 beta 2)
Edit: CHome with bigger photo tab and Lock device to right softkey....and in rom folder is special stuff for CHome..
and a new 100% battery
UPDATE: EzInput 2.1 or 1.5 + fullscreenplayer fix for play videos in Album + added the old taskmanager (it´s needed to close apps correct)

4. For Startmenu with folder install this....(after install remove SPB Backup...its only shareware and not registered...but i need this to make this startmenu...it´s the easy way...change it in kitchen is very complicated...so follow the instructions---> for picture see post 3...
->use the file from 23518...and put on...normal mode
5. Install from my rom folder the M2D version you want...

For Sync problems with outlook
I think i have it..... Have try it about 10x and it work for me...
the steps:
1. Disable the pop up for usb to pc
2. Restart the phone
3. in Active Sync/Windows Mobile Device Center-->delete all Partnerships....
4. Open Outlook
5. Connect the phone to pc (USB)
6. wait a moment-->create a new partnership
7. check the box for contacts
8. Sync
9. maybe a restart
For me it work perfect....please test it and give me a report if it work or not...

If you have problems after flash my rom....restart....flash Orginal rom + hard reset if you see the calibration screen after that flash my rom also with a hard reset....after a complete boot a soft reset

a whole rom in italian or for me in german is very complicated...because all programs must be rewritten...Sorry but for now i must say no...don´t have the experience... i think a italien wm6.5 rom is in polaris upgading thread..

Anyway... what about a naked version of ur ROM in different languages?!
I think noone has probs installing his favorite software after flashing and, about Manilla, if u want to include it in the naked version this post perhaps can help u.

I just have brought this pda yesterday. It's very pretty and nice hw too. I've tried already to disable all the samsung stuff's but i can't remove sms manager and others things.. (i've already read the guide of editing registry ecc.ecc.).
Isn't around a clean rom to flash it? Can I flash with a generic b7610 rom or it will not work?
The firmware versions of mine are :

CSC : B7620ITVII7
TELEF. : B7620XXII6
I've found here a rom but too scared to try without a changelog and support (h--p://chomikuj.pl/misiio61/Firmware+Samsung/Firmware/GT-B7620+Armani)

Did you have WM6.1 or WM6.5??
On B7610 the WM6.1 is faster, more stable and don't have the collors displaing bug (http://www.modaco.com/content/forum/300931/). I would sugest that you keep with WM6.1..
Could you dump your rom here??

I think we have 2 option, or a custom rom of the 6.5.2 or a 6.1 rom. After all 6.5 isnt that great thing, ok more usable with touch but i can live without it. Plus wm6,1 have 2000 themes, this titanium is cool idea but no themes and the generator online is just a joke

i dont know if this is the rite section to place my question.
i have a bit of a problem with my samsung Gt i8000
i have this phone for a year now and it came with wm6.1 build 5.2.21006.1.2.74
and if i try to update with KIES the samsung software for my phone it say there is a firmware update but when i try to update it say your version:
pda:IH3 / Phone:JD1 / CSC:027
and then there is no firmware update for you available ??
this is the first time i try to update my firmware and its also the first time i used the program KIES new version of samsung software to controle and arange stuff on your phone.
