Any other great Magician sites?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any other great sites or forums that are Magician specific (or good PPC sites for that matter) that I can check out.
Thanks in advance.
Todd
There was the other Magician site, compactjam.co. But noone seems to have used it recently. This is the best there is. Of course there are lots of pocketpc sites.
Try www.buzzdev.net - it's run by one of the moderators of this site.
A handy site for programs is
http://www.handango.com/SoftwareCat...88E4E1312C6A7X4B12AB7B8&osId=737&N=4294966998
Just change the "sort by" to what you'r after. I use "price low to high" if I'm looking for free software

I'm a mod at this one, very handy for user-end problems rather than the real advanced stuff. That's what this site's for!

Australian Pocket PC site. There's a dedicated Windows Smart phone section that has many Jam and Mini users there. Similar sort of content to the one mentioned above.
Between those 2 and this site, I know everything I could possibly need to know about my phone!
Thanks everyone for your replys, I will check them out.

Just an idea or two

How about on this thread,we answer two things ,which may helpspread awarness of apps & prog out there maybe also help see what your exec can do and achieve
If the above idea is ok I'd like to ask two things
A
If you just got a brand new shiny out the box exec, what would you do too it and what would you add.?
I Intend this weekend to save and compress any memory,by using another ROM and other software, but I have no idea,so ill search the site this weekend
secondly maybe we can post up here ,things you'd like, your exec to do,
hopefully if your request isn't too OTT,someone may know a way or provide a link
for e.g.
I'd like my exec to watch tv is this poss?
reply
either pre load your memory card with compressed films and use a dvd software, like this
www.alink.com
or install slingbow and the relevant software, this is there homepage
www.homepage.com
a one thread resource for a how to,regards the limitations of an exec
jaceuk - we're having this discussion over here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=56072&highlight=
But basically, the wiki lives, and is used as a repository for knowledge. Anyone can access/update it. That's the best way to distribute this type of information.
Regarding what to do with your Exec, there are several threads on the subject... eg what software to install etc.
OTT requests - just post them. People will respond if they can!
Very few things are too OTT

Thanks as always ur the gent,i was unaware of the wiki ill look
thanks
But any questions, search first, but do ask. That's why we're a community

Resco explorer will certainly let you do this as will Total Commander. Novii remote is a pretty good IR controller software.
As far as tips etc there are about 10000 of them. Check out the WIKI and search for the threads there are dozens of them.
cheers will do.
also, does anyone know if its possible to change the bluetooth software to enable me to send files over bluetooth?
the native (comes with it) software will enable you to send file over bt. just use the 'beam file', it will let you select bluetooth to send file.
ahh cheers i also misread the first post, the guy sugested some there too... ok so i solved the problem with b/t with u guys help, cheers. now to find a remote software that actually works with this model, any1 out there who has sucessfully used any software and what sort of distance did you get from it?

Try to get this as a sticky---Best apps for different uses

This forum has a lot of information and a lot of input and applications and downloads. I recently started coming here a few weeks ago and little by little have gotten through quite a few threads and downloaded some amazing stuff. However, it's been difficult at best and quite slow and tedious and I know there is still lots of stuff I'm missing.
What I was thinking is how it would be great if we had one unified post that summarized and organized some of the most popular applications that are available here. Something like:
Best Music Players
--HTC Audio manager
--Mort Player
--etc.
Best Browser
--Opera Mini
--Picsel
--Skyfire
--etc.
Best locking program
--S2U2
--etc.
and so on, with the download links next to them. This would make referencing certain applications easy to find and download for all from various threads. With a few people in charge to moderate the thread, updates could easily be done as people post as they arrive or to alert others and then subsequently deleted.
I'm not sure if this has been brought up or attempted before, but I wanted to throw it out there. Please feel free to close or lock this thread if necesssary mods.
I would also add that some polls could be set up initially to identify some of these key applications to set up a "standard" list of applications that most users here should at least be familiar with and/or have on their devices.
Thanks and hope this idea helps out others if it's put forth.
Chain Fire's WMWIFI ROUTER
Slither's HTC CUBE Clone ( flash version )
Slither's HTC Cube ( C++ version )
Throttle Launcher
will add more later
Best Music Player:
Pocket Melody
Best Browser:
NetFront Browser 3.5
Best contact App :
-- PocketCM 0.19b !!
I can't find the pocket melody thread... can some one gimme a link...
Thanks
Sorry, but before this thread becomes very crowded and yet another "must have" list that gets lost in the realms of the web: Wouldn't it be better to do this in the XDA-Wiki?
Here's a good starting point.
A sticky hint might be a good idea, though, you've got to scroll the Wiki main page for a while to find it...

Thank you. That's exactly the type of format I'm looking for. I didn't want everyone to just come and start posting their favorite programs but instead to have ONE post that combined them all. I just don't know enough of them and haven't been around long enough to even begin to compile it.
That wiki page looks great. I just hope someone that has a little time and the desire to do this could pull it off. I just don't have either nor the knowledge to put out something that would be helpful. Thanks for the reply.

We should have official polls on what are the best apps for each category.
That way, the best of the best will show themselves and those who are not yet enlightened, WILL be.
It will also clear up arguments and let popularity decide.

Agreed. Should be in general.

Wisbar help...

Not really sure how to use this program or if I need to buy it or if the trial is enough. I'd like my Wing to have the windows vista start menu and look really good. I've seen some people post their Today screens that look great and I'd like that, please help me out with getting my phone that way! ALL help will go greatly appreciated and it will also help others to customize their phones. Thanks in advance everyone who takes the time to help.
install this it looks just like vista its great
hey thanks but what exactly is that for?
Smart Toolkit (look at www.e-natives.com ) is for Smartphones (non-touchscreen devices) only.
Phawkes:
Iv'e been using wisbar advance for several years now, and it's great.
Take a look at the forum at www.lakeridgesoftware.com it's not so complicated at all.
