For some reason the time is wrong and when i set it to the correct time it resets itself in a few minute back to the wrong time..does anyone know a solution to this
Even by me, when I reset it the time on reset is corect, however when
I remove the battery and reinsert it the time is set to 12:00 Am 1-1-2005,
All contacts , messages everything else is intact so I asume the device memory is not erased. Also I have worldmate installed , think something got to do with it.
but if anybody know a solution let me know
Any ideas guys please this is driving me nuts..not be able to set the time without it being reseted inaccurately.
I think the time gets updated everytime you sync your device...could this be the problem?

ah i get it cuz my clock on my computer is wrong...but i cant change that either cuz it will just switch back to its old time in 10 min :/
Can't remember if it was like that when I first got the Nike, but nowadays it takes a good 3+ minutes before I can type in my SIM pin code, after that it runs fine, anyone else have that problem ?
That's about the normal I think ... it takes me 2/3mins as well ...
thanks, will time boot time exactly the next time, can't remember another wm device being so slow. Kaiser can't be more than 1 minute.
Mine is currently taking 70 seconds - it very much depends on what you have installed and what starts at bootup.

I just got my Xperia a few days ago and I noticed that my time is always delayed!
yesterday, i didn't look at my phone for a few hours and when I did, clock was delayed by an hour! I thought I was still early for an afternoon meeting but it turned out that I was late 30 minutes!
I didn't think anything of it, I just adjusted the time, maybe i had it wrong to begin with since the phone is still new, but this morning it was late again! by 20 minutes.... so I said, there must be something wrong with it?
adjusted the clock again and took a look at it after 2 hours late again by 10minutes!!! aaah!!!
Is there any fix to this?
I did a search and the HTC diamond has the same problem...the fix for the diamond is hotfix...will this work with the Xperia as well?
Any other way to fix this problem?

there is a a few threads on this topic on the forum, search it
there is no fix other than try the today panel for about 5-10 mins and then go back to whichever panel you were on. not sure why but that sorts it out, until it happens again. for me it happens every 3-4 weeks
the alarm isnt affected by this, also when you click the clock it will show you the latest time, i think its a screen update problem.
let us know if the HTC fix works here.

I also noticed this....the panel time was delayed and then the time on the upper right copied the time on the panel?
What I did was I removed the clock on the panel, now my time is only delayed by 5minutes.
I'll try your suggestion.

Time on my Xperia is wrong mostly 7 minutes. When i synchronize it with SynchroTime it is usually 422-423 sec delayed. After synchronization within 5-10 minutes the clock again is back the 7 minutes :-/ Also clock on the panel (any) and the tray bar (upper right corner) often show a bit different time (the tray one is delayed 1-3 minutes). Can not realize what is caused this. Any idea how to fix it?
go to \Program Files\Panels\SonyEricssonPanel\ open config1.ini or config 2 and change SummerCity to 1...

I also had clock delays on my phone, sometime 20 minutes, sometimes 5min., sometimes 2hours...now I think its fixed.
This is what I did, I removed the clock on the panel, yes, because I was experiencing the same problem as yours....the panel has a different or later time than the one on the top bar, what happens is everytime I go to the panel top bar always adjusts to the late time on the panel...so I removed the clock on the panel.
Next, I was forced to hard reset because of a program I installed kept on stalling my phone for some reason.
Now my time (on the top bar) is always on time.
Maybe the solution was just the hard reset? but I still did not put time on my panel, I don't want that problem again!
I have following problem, the display keeps opening, even if the settings are to turn off disply after 30 seconds. The display is off for one sec and after that it opens again. Same if I push the off butoon. The disply swith off and after one sec it turns on again.
This makes the battery to drain very quick as the display is opened all the time.
What can I do ? I was considering to make a hard reset but on another forum I found a guy with same problem, he said he put again the official rom but the problem is still present.
Any ideea ?
I need help...I fired up my old Nexus 4 and all is working great except time(clock). Its always late, so in one minute ( 60 sec ) he is late few seconds. I tried to find fix/solution but only found ppl complaining and no help. All date and time are set to automatic ( tried manual set up but it has the same seconds delay ). Also did few factory resets and clean install with two different factory images but still the same sh1t. If some1 has any thoughts please...
P.S. I noticed that clock delay is always when phone goes to deep sleep...
