After applying some "hacks" to the registry as mentioned in another Topic, my XDA NEO with latest Dopod Rom does not Boot anymore...
I Get the Dopod Splash Screen, and after this a white screen - thats it...
Is there a possibilty to get a working USB Connection or to do a Hardreset ?
I mean i just edited somethings in the Registry, chich means it MUST wake up again.
Please help me, i realyy need that Prophet !

Same problem here.. with an Orange SPV M600 flashed with latest Dopod rom. I guess it's regsitry tweaks (I was trying to set harder the volume)
Hard reset should still work and would fix your problem

I ve unlock my Wizard(orange) ,works fine... (htc wizard)
Ive play with registry key (stupid things), and later when I ve done a soft reset Itl display the bootloader some version of radio .... but nothing more .... the screen stay like this.
So I ve try hardware reset , and it display band of color(like rainbow) with isd & ils version . I dont have any other confirmation (stay like this till Ive done softreset)
So anyone have idea to boot my qtek, thanks for you help

The Problem is: I have change the ROM of my german T-Mobile MDA Compact II from the "Charmer 2060228 GER" to the "RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Shi p" and how can i now overwrite this one with "RUU_Charmer_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship" (or any other Charmer series)? When i start to change the ROM, it is loading about 1% and the mistake is about "nk.nbf" file. Is there any body know, how to solve this problem? Camera did not work!
maybe rading more info before flashing will be usefull for the future ,-)
Try to flash directly from bootloader - press camera button + reset (three color bars must appear). then connect charmer to your pc and try flash again...
If this will not help, try sd-card rom restore as described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276963 article. Somebody with official rom flashed may provide sd-card image to you (my rom is modified)

please help! I have made a wrong ROM Update for my Artemis. The result is that it doeasn`t starts anymore. I see only the start screen no more. If i make a SW or HW reset tahn i see a 3 colored screen and USB. But i don`t get a connection via usb to my compute`! How can i wake up my Artemis ???

You need the original ROM which was on your device when you bought it. What version (HTC, MDA, etc..) and what language was the original ROM?

I guess I made the same or a similar mistake that dr.moppi did. My machine is a Dopod P800 from mainland china with the chinese operating system. I flahsed it with PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap. Don't really remember what the original ROM was but now when i turn it on it freezes when it lights up. On the screen, it says

I don't get a connection through usb to the computer either. I am not sure if I did the hard reset correctly. Didn't understand the instruction on that "press the soft key left and right and soft reset at the same time." Anyway, you guys are all experts, can you help me please?

@dr. moppi we can only help you if we know what version you had before.
@empathyvirus you have to look for the original ROM which, in your case, should be the Chinese Dopod ROM. Install that one and your good to go.
Without the original ROM the only thing left to do is: sending your device to your provider or contact and sent it to the guys of imei-check. Either way, you'll probably have to pay to get it fixed.

Put your device in bootloader by pressing the record button and reset at the same time. If you have your USB-cable connected between your PC and your phone it will indicate a connection by 'USB' in the left corner of your device. Now you should be able to run the ROM executable and update your device.

I've been given an Magician (s110) thats not working. I have no idea what has happed to it. The device will not boot up upon pressing the powerbutton. The display i s gray (not lit up) and shows "USB" at the top portion of the screen and "v1.02" att the bottom of the screen.
I thought maybe a hardreset would make a change(?).... i have no manual and googling hasn't helped me....
Anyone can tell me how to hard reset (or know what to do with it?) Is it bricked? Just to throw it in the garbage bin???

That means that the previous owner try'ed to update it's rom, go to the qtek site and download the latest rom and update it, you should end with a workin s110.

All was work fine... But some days ago, it was stopping in a black screen when I perform a simple soft reset...
I tryed remove the battery, all the cards (include the simcard), but the problem still there...
I tryed a hard reset, but the problem still there...
I tryed all that I know, but the problem still there again...
Trouble details:
The O2 XDA Exec aleatory freeze in a black screen after soft reset.
I persists pressing Reset key with some seconds intervals, untill it (aleatory) turn on the screen and load WM5.
The Bootloader and the HardReset screens comes normaly when calleds.
When I perform a hardreset, immediatly happen an freeze without the new system never was loaded before.
I disassembly the device and test the RESET key... there is no problem.
My big suspect is something corrupt in device's bootloader or other "BIOS" program.
I use many PDAs for a long time (8 years ago), but never see nothing like that...
Seed someone something like this before?
How can I solve this problem?

Have you tried to install another ROM? with a different Bootloader
Battery?

I solve my trouble reflashing my WM5 rom...
I used the Jwrightmcps Crossbow ROM Update 2.12.08 WWE, very fast and very stable WM6 rom! Realy a amazing work by our friend Jwrightmcps!
Including, I want suggest here that all those that still suffering in WM5 (living slowly with crashes, troubles, crashes, more troubles and this poor and slow system), try reflash your HTC with a rom like this... my device reborn!! It was dead more now is alive!!! And much more fast and stable! Before it is slowly my old Jornada 720 (206MHz), but now it realy seems have 520MHz!
