i receieve a ROM from someone which i asked for.
i extract the rar file and i have located the XDAIIi.nb1.
and also i found the ntrw.rar
i wonder anyone can teach mi step by step how to flash this whole thing into my IIi???
i really dun understand how to do it even there is a webby to teach mi....

hi, i heard tt must use the command prompt to save the *.nb1 file into sd card den can go bootloader mode to flash but i dunno how to save..

The asia version based on pug rom and added some Autoconfig for Asia....

but in Singapore, O2 service centre have the right to VOID ur service warranty if they find out ur ROM is not the shipment ROM.
this means tt u have to pay alot for ur Alphine repair. even a shipment ROM upgrade.

if you too afraid to your O2 service centre, then dont do anything.... go to the service centre, tell them that you're afraid and ask them to upgrade it for you..... 8)
p/s: My opinion is do it yourself, so you can learn much more about it.... dont be afraid of anyone.... :lol:

they void ur warranty and tt's it.......
no more value for ur xda IIi.
go to www.ppcsg.com and the Gripe and Grattitude sub forum and u can hear abt our sercvice centre here.

Hi guys,
I have an O2 XDA 2 Asia device. I was jus wondering where i can download the ROM to keep as a backup jus in case anythin wrong goes with My XDA 2.
I know u guys are gonna say that download it from www.myxda.com. I did register my device but when i click on the software upgrade link it tells me that i already have the latest ROM and dont need to download it. But i wanna download it to keep a backup.
So can someone gimme a solution to where i can download the 1.60WWE Asia ROM please.

My O2 XDA MINI S gets stuck at the startup operator logo ..
I FLASHED IT WITH THE NEW 2.21.4.1 ROM AND OS ,, but its still the same
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"..... Please help me as i really miss the phone..
I am afraid that usually means you have a faulty rom memory chip. Send the device back to the supplier for repair - its a hardware problem not a software problem.

The rom will flash but stll fails to boot - there have been other posts with exact same problem and that was the reply by summiter or faria if I remember right. (Both v experienced at flashing and putting together roms) Do a srearch - failed format will prob find those posts.

Welcome the board , Lets wait until end of July...!
I Think Moderator here shoud warn people want to up WM6 called by ASEG...many many people here have briked phone with ASEG's ROM!
If there is no Portugese ROm available, then you should make use of your warranty and send it back to your provider for service. That's how some could recover their device and don't better don't mention you tried to flash an unofficial ROM onto your device
I have a portuguese rom, just let me know how to extract it and i will sent it to you

Put it in bootloader and reflash a correct ROM.
Power+MSG/record/MSVC+Reset=Bootloader.
