[HELP] Can I use the Bootloader v5.17 to flash the RSU ROM?

Dear all,
During I RSUpgrade failure, my O2 xda don't work anymore . I also look through a lot of example to fix the problem from this forum. And I know there are easy way to use repiar.zip, but may be I am using PPC2003, so that I can't get the white screen with the blue bar on the top.
May be I can try to use bootloader to reflash the Radio ROM if I can !
Does anyone can teach me how to fix it by myself becasue it cost me HK$350 to fix it in Hong Kong :shock: .

FORMAT FAIL !! during a hard reset.

hey guys thanks for being helpful alot of times..
My O2 XDA MINI S gets stuck at the startup operator logo ..
I FLASHED IT WITH THE NEW 2.21.4.1 ROM AND OS ,, but its still the same
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"..... Please help me as i really miss the phone..

I am afraid that usually means you have a faulty rom memory chip. Send the device back to the supplier for repair - its a hardware problem not a software problem.

BUT IF ITS A hardware fault how was i able to flash it to the newer version ? 2.21 ?
Is there any thing else i can do to the phone ? to make it ? LIKE THE IMEI OR SOME KIND OF LOCK ?

The rom will flash but stll fails to boot - there have been other posts with exact same problem and that was the reply by summiter or faria if I remember right. (Both v experienced at flashing and putting together roms) Do a srearch - failed format will prob find those posts.

ive heard if I can upgrade the phone through the SD CARD then it can get back to normal ..
Please some one can be kind enough to guide me through it or mail me the dump of the os for the sd card.. O2 XDA MINI S

There is not published any O2 German or English ROM

there is nothing available.
any other source?
is there a way to make a backup of his own rom?

I don't know. Did you try the search button yet? But anyway, even if it is possible to make a backup, what are you going to do with it? You cannot use it to restore a bricked phone because it lacks the proper signature. I don't see the point of having a private backup ROM, without the signature it is useless anyway.
If you just want to make a backup of your settings, try Sprite backup software.

hello, i have the actuall rom for the german XDA Orbit, at the moment i try to upload it. when the upload is finnished, i'll post here the link to the file.
So, the file that you are looking for is now on the ftp server from the xda-developers in following directory: ROOT -> Uploads -> Upload -> XDA Orbit

Official Portuguese ROM PLEASE!!

I had brink my Herald when i tried to upgrade to WM6 and now i only can access his on bootloader mode...
Can anybody send me one Portuguese Official Rom please?

Welcome the board , Lets wait until end of July...!
I Think Moderator here shoud warn people want to up WM6 called by ASEG...many many people here have briked phone with ASEG's ROM!

If there is no Portugese ROm available, then you should make use of your warranty and send it back to your provider for service. That's how some could recover their device and don't better don't mention you tried to flash an unofficial ROM onto your device

I have a portuguese rom, just let me know how to extract it and i will sent it to you

I am newbie at XDA here. I wanted to check do we have any kind of utility that can help us in getting the ROM Unlock code for the I-Mate Ultimate Devices. or any body interested in doing so. I can help if you need any help on the coding side. Awaiting for the feedbacks from the ultimate owners.
