Icons till appearing in Programs

I have uninstalled some programs but the icon still appears in Programs. Is there an easy way to remove the icon.

to remove the shortcut in programs: Open file explorer, Go to folder “My Device > Windows > Start Menu > Programs". You will find the shortcuts there. Delete it and it should disappear from programs.

How to remove NOT wanted icon from Programs?

Hi,
This question must have a very small answer, that I’m missing:
- How can we remove an icon from Programs folder, if no longer needed?
This is how I got the icon:
1. Installed an application (let's call it "Xpto")
2. Got “Xpto” icon and “Xpto (2)” icon in Start > Programs
3. Since I whant just ONE icon...
4. ... tried to uninstalled the Xpto program and...
5. ... the “Xpto (2)” remains there!
Any ideas on how to get rid of this icon?

Just delete the shortcut in /windows/start menu/programs using File Explorer, or Explore in Activesync.

How do I remove the Comm Manager icon from the today screen?

I already tried to set some regedit value I found online (put it back), but it made no difference. Anybody got foolproof instructions for my Wizard?

Open \Windows\StartUp directory on yor device and delete Init_Tray.lnk

Removing 'old' Comm Manager?

Hi, i recently installed the 10 button comm manager, and its all working well, but when i got into Programs, i noticed there are two comm managers, as the new one apparently didnt replace the old one.
so, my question is, is there a way of removing the original comm manager? its not a problem that its there, i would just prefer to have just the one

You can remove the shortcut from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs so you dont see it twice.
If you only see one shortcut to CommMgr in File Explorer, choose Menu -> Show All Files.
That will show all the original shortcuts and makes it easy to delete the right one if they're named the same.

Softkey removal

Is there a .cab file to remove the softkeys phone and menu? Or any other way to remove them
